Bellyaches already recommends all this. You must not have read the mod table completely. :P Cover Khajiits I've fixed the file and made a FOMOD for it. I've included the file download location on its wiki page. The link will stay available until I can contact the author (who's message box seems to be full on Nexus). Book of Silence That list is there; however, I hid it because of it being out dated. I've restored the list and updated it with the STEP recommended options. Diverse Priest Fixed and updated the recommendations to the latest mod version. Close Quivers and Longer Arrows Updated to latest mod version. Elven Weapons for Silence I've unmarked this as Core since it changes the vanilla (gold) textures to the black textures that matches the black eleven armor. STEP recommends the Gold eleven armor to stay consistent with vanilla. However, I still updated the recommendations. Greatsword Sheaths and Scabbards Updated. Improved Closefaced Helmets Updated. Shield of Ysrgramor Updated on the mod table for Baseline. (1024) Ultimate HD Torch Updated. Better Bards Actually, the "No pause between lines" has always been STEP recommended option. Not sure when this was removed from the wiki page. I'll add it back in and we can fix it if it was removed for some reason that I can't remember. This is another mod that requires a FOMOD to install correctly. I've provided a corrected version with a FOMOD installer on the wiki page and have contacted the author to invite him to use the fix. Smooth Blades Draw and Sheath Updated. Install all options. @ STEP Team, Can someone please check to make sure all of our BCFs are up-to-date. I suspect many are outdated. If we're going to be offering them, they need to be kept updated. Else, I suggest that we just lay out the install options and stop offering BCFs altogether. I've already made MO the official mod manager for Mod Testing and from the hearsay from around the forums, STEP might be moving to officially support MO; leaving WB in the wind because of lack of development and many other reasons. Side note: Jesus that was a lot of updating! Half the day is gone... Haha! Although, I probably went above and beyond with creating the FOMODs. Thanks for finding all of that, Nearox!

You're welcome. The addressing of the posted issues is coming. There is just a lot to do...even completely restructured one mod and will be providing the fix. Stay tuned!

I'll be addressing this shortly.

Need help with strange problem (character skeleton is suspect)
TechAngel85 replied to Belleal's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Reset your INIs to default settings if you've done any tweaking to see if that helps. -
It's up to you. The spell helps to eliminate dead bodies that might be blocking a path. Personally, I use the version without the spell and have never had an issue with being blocked by a body.

Official Mod Organizer Support Forum
TechAngel85 replied to Uhuru's question in Mod Organizer Support
Glad to have everyone on board! I've been pushing MO over WB for several months now and it will be the only supported mod manager for Mod Testing (I'm spearheading the MT as part of my Release Coordinator duties so the others can focus more on development like they want to). WB still has it's advantages; however, as development on MO continues those advantages will get smaller and smaller (at least I hope) as time goes by. Once MO has a "Bash Patch"-like feature...WB will be in serious trouble. -
ACCEPTED HD Enhanced Terrain (by Hritik Vaishnav)
TechAngel85 replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
That is Z's baby. He has all the saves for those compares. -
Changed Enhanced Night Skyrim to the "Low Stars" option. The other options adds too many stars for STEP, IMO. Update Moss Rocks to recommend the SMIM version. Update Realistic Mushrooms to recommend the Low Res version. Terrain Bump will remain the user's choice. No recommendation at this time. Visible Windows has a BCF to install the old recommendations. A new evaluation to choose the most vanilla-friendly options should probably be done. I'll do this something later today or tomorrow and update the recommendations for MO users. I've completely rewrote the recommendations for WATER. They should be up-to-date now (v1.87). Thanks for looking at all this for us! EDIT: Updated the Visible Windows recommendations.

I moved the post to support. This thread has nothing to do with any specific pack, but rather pack creation on the wiki. It doesn't belong in this forum; thus, I moved it. It is in fact, best placed in Wiki Projects; however, that is a restricted forum that users can't see. Therefore, the next best place is Support. Moved back to support forum.

So jealous right now! My life goal is to live in Seattle working in the IT industry. From my research, Seattle is one of the best locations in the country to work in the IT field. Not only that but it's a very open-minded city, friendly, lots of stuff to do, great climate (yes, I do love the rain) and a great place to raise a family whether you're a member of the LGBT community or not. As soon as I finish my Bachelors, my plan is to start my job search in the Seattle area.

DROPPED Soul Gems Differ - Full and Empty (by Utopolyst)
TechAngel85 replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
It might not be; however, it looks out of place and that's the whole reason I thought it was a DDSopt error. It just doesn't fit, especially on the table inside of Arcadia's. I'm all for retextures but they have to at least not break the flow of the visual artistry in the game. -
I think that behavior was purposely built in for some reason. I usually just go about what I need to do and then refresh the list. A minor inconvenience.
-
Yeah, I'd been planning on redoing that for a while and just hadn't got to it. Those instructions were much too wordy and complicated for just removing one folder and two textures.

DROPPED Soul Gems Differ - Full and Empty (by Utopolyst)
TechAngel85 replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
That is from the vanilla textures. You should have it unless you mess it up. Haha! I'll add to my Google Drive and send you the link so I'm not posting vanilla sources on the forums (Bethesda might frown upon that...). -

DROPPED Skyrim Flora Overhaul (by vurt)

I downloaded 1.86, but will be waiting at least a week before downloading any more of the releases. There are a few authors that when they get on a role, it's just best to wait. -
Following STEP guide, SMIM info is outdated..?
TechAngel85 replied to DICEROLL's question in General Skyrim LE Support
You might have to reinstall the mod and make sure those options are checked. I checked and my ropes and fences are okay. It's nothing game breaking if you don't mind missing them. -
DROPPED Skyrim Flora Overhaul (by vurt)
TechAngel85 replied to JudgmentJay's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Nope, doesn't look good to me either. Skyrim is not Pandora. I actually use a setting of 40. A) to get a bit better performance and B) because as you mention here, Vurt, real forests don't have a lot of vegetation so the bit sparser grass looks more realistic to me. -
This would eliminate a used slot if it could be sorted out. If not, the author should remove the comment since I don't know of a single modder that doesn't use BOSS besides perhaps a newbie that doesn't know better.

Following STEP guide, SMIM info is outdated..?
TechAngel85 replied to DICEROLL's question in General Skyrim LE Support
SMIM instructions have been updated to v1.57: https://wiki.step-project.com/Static_Mesh_Improvement_Mod Marking this as solved. -
Following STEP guide, SMIM info is outdated..?
TechAngel85 replied to DICEROLL's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I'll update the instructions to be more clear once I download 1.56. Essentially, you click "Custom Install" and install everything except of the Furniture Chests. Vanilla Barrels without animation is the only STEP recommended option. Everything thing else is your choice. -
It looks bad with Vurts. You can visit his page to see a comparison. Just go to the files section and scroll down until you find it. If I remember correct, Vurt himself doesn't recommend that mod but provided a compatible version for SFO because he's a nice guy. STEP has gone with LODs from Vurts for tree with a custom LOD for snowy pines that z92 did himself and uploaded to Vurts page.
