I had been holding off to start a new game until ICAIO was released. Now I'm getting a bunch of mod that are in testing added to a profile. Get to asking!
-
Cool. I'm currently adding a bunch of the mods in testing to my personal setup to be testing them out. Updating the OPs as necessary.

ACCEPTED Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul (by kryptopyr)

Updated Mod Testing instruction on the OP. -
So what is the question?
-
If you're willing to make those changes, post an issue on the tracker so that Tannin will notice it. From there he'll be able to direct you in the right direction.

DROPPED Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul (by Shurah)
TechAngel85 replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
As long as you're using ENBoost, you won't have to worry about the 3.1GB memory cap. -
Actually, I didn't and I agree with your opinions and suggestions j however, what I tried to convey was that Tannin will not likely be improving this feature any. Tannin does welcome users to pick up some work, if they have the skills, and do the improvements themselves and submit the work to him for review and inclusion.

wanted Wiki Header and Text Whitespace
TechAngel85 replied to TechAngel85's question in Wiki Support
Was curious about that because Z mentioned Drupal once in the context of a Guide for FO4. Must been some discussion of this behind the scenes. -
Stable uGridsToLoad (by Altimor)
TechAngel85 replied to hellanios's question in Other Utilities Support
I trust ShadeMe and Arthmoor. That's two senior staff. I'll drop this from the Guide right now. If it ever gets updated, we can re-evaluate. -
Thanks for the kind words and I hope every gets to enjoy their holiday season as well. I'll be working more than usual until the end of the year (retail management ), but will get to be with family and friends for Christmas. No plans other than that.

MO is still being developed. There are some fixes that many of us are still waiting on for MO 1.3.12?...1.4? Anyway, most of Tannin's attention is on MO v2 which has 64bit support for newer games like FO4. Version 2 is still in alpha and is dropping PMOP because it also drops BSA management support that is seen in the version 1 releases. Many feel this is a step backwards, but I think we all understand why Tannin is dropping the BSA management support and "getting back to basics" with the new version. Tannin has stated before that PMOP can't really be improved upon though. It simply finds conflicting scripts and tosses out a warning if they're out of order from their related plugin order. This sometime creates false positives. One case would be if two mods have the exact same script. It really doesn't matter, in that case, which order the plugins are in. Another good example is your FISS example above. FISS really wasn't a thing when PMOP was developed and can create false positives there as well. It's not perfect, but in actual modding practices, it's purpose is sound. It's up to the user to determine if the warnings are actually issues or not.

Stable uGridsToLoad (by Altimor)
TechAngel85 replied to hellanios's question in Other Utilities Support
Seeing that the evidence is in black and white and right there for anyone to see of the memory leak never being fixed, I am for dropping this mod from the Guide ASAP. I rarely travel into the Nexus threads because it's nearly impossible to keep up with a conversation when most of the replies reference numbers for posts rather than the quoted text. Terrible design! -
Stable uGridsToLoad (by Altimor)
TechAngel85 replied to hellanios's question in Other Utilities Support
I'll read over the thread. I've been for dropping this for a while now since I've never seen any benefit from it, never personally upped my ugrids, and we don't recommend other users upping their ugrids either. So the point of this mod is been moot to me for a while. If there is really a memory leak, it should be dropped. -
ACCEPTED RUSTIC SOULGEMS (by Gamwich and Saerileth)
TechAngel85 replied to Octopuss's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
None were done. The mods come along a bit since we knew about it. Could do a compare for the next round if there are interested parties. -
You're welcome "Firestarter". Check your name.

I don't agree with some of the views here and some of the things are totally wrong and unacceptable to me. But with that said, you can't really change some people's way of thinking. I learned that a long time ago. Some people simply have to figure out the truth themselves before their way of thinking will change. This is why I remain mostly a silent listener on this thread.

Installing this INI in MO will overwrite any settings found in your SkyrimPrefs.ini and Skyrim.ini. I wouldn't use it, but that's me. DoubleYou will know better than I.

I've had some dealing with this type of thing. Whenever I took over the Jaggarsfeld mod there was an issue with the scroll storage causing CTDs. Turns out, the authors themselves or whatever resource they used stacked individual scrolls into this shelf and put a collision plane in front of it so that it "looked" like a custom storage piece. The problem was, they didn't have the "don't havok settle" checked for each one of the those 20+ scrolls so as soon as you got close to it in the game the scrolls would bug out and CTD. They released a CTD fix patch for this, but not even it worked 100% of the time because that's not the proper way of creating custom storage containers. I couldn't work the issues completely out, so I opted to switch it out with a proper model while changing over to the General Stores scripts. With your mod, this could be an issue or the items stored on the shelf having some havok issues. I know this from experience that stacking and storing some multitude of items can cause CTDs, when not done properly.

Camera glitch when activating ore or woodcutting block.
TechAngel85 replied to battlecarrier's question in General Skyrim LE Support
It could be a compatibility issue with one of the added mods, but my first suspect would be Enhanced Camera. After playing with it enabled for so long, I'd prefer not to use it, personally. -
Being a 30 year old, homosexual man myself...I find this discussion rather amusing and sometimes intriguing to read. I will put these few things out there: I knew that I was gay since puberty and before I even knew what "gay" was. I honestly didn't know what it meant to be gay when I started finding out I was gay. When my friends were getting into the girls, I found myself looking more at my friends than the girls. I wasn't abused as a child. I had stable mother and father figures in my life. There's some info for you 'nurture vs nature' debatist.I've tried both sides of the fence and, though I can tell you whether a female is beautiful to me or not, she never sparks my interests in any way dealing with attraction. There's the information for you 'have you tried being with women' arguers. (I might go straight for Emma Watson...but I would be a terrible man for her )Being attracted to the same gender for me is no different than it is for any of you being attracted to the opposite gender. I didn't choose to be gay just like none of you chose to be straight. What is natural for heterosexuals to be attracted to the opposite sex and doing so without any conscience thought, is the same for homosexuals. I put no more conscience thought into who grabs my eye more than any of you guys put into that lovely lady in a sexy dress which catches your eye as she passes. It's 100%, completely natural whether you're gay or straight.Love is love unless it's demented and un-consented.I find most of the conservative agreements just plain ridiculous and most of them aren't able to which view points and see things from other points of view. I'll end with this: Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Careful, this mod might cause issues with ICAIO in the future once he starts working on that city.

It's Nazenn that is heading this mod up now. From the description he's made it a master-plugin (ESP with a master flag) to maximize the compatibility. It's meant to load right after the UP for compatibility reasons. Also this: Nazenn knows what he's doing, imo.

SKYRIMLE Jaggarsfeld Extended (by TechAngel85)
TechAngel85 replied to TechAngel85's topic in Skyrim LE Mod Author Topics
That's actually good information. Thanks! Yeah the bookshelves are a real pain the arse! That's why most authors just copy them from vanilla or modder resources. Setting them up on your own can be an all day event. -
