I just checked and that plugin doesn't have ELE as a master. I also checked the installer to ensure the correct file was being installed. So either you accidentally picked the wrong option or there is a fluke. Be sure you're using the internal installer (you shouldn't see any messages/windows about "external installer" pop up).

I brought it to Kajuan's attention. It's probably not something you're going to notice in the heat of battle and is why it's probably the first time he's hearing of it.

By looking at the textures and normals, this "banding" is suppose to be rust on the armor. This is further supported by the alpha channel in the normal where there is very little "shine" for those areas. Rust isn't shiny.

The new year is upon us. I've been trying to get into contact with the original Jaggarsfeld authors for some time now without success. I know I said I was going to gear up to do some more work on this mod but I'm at a cross roads. At this point, I'm considering two options for Jaggarsfeld Extended. Option 1 is to continue expanding this mod, but I'm finding it harder to do that without full access and freedom from having the original mod as a master. It's difficult and clunky to work with this mod in the CK having to constantly switch back and forth between a plugin with and without a master flag in the header. Further changes will also highly deviate from the original design of Jaggarsfeld. Without being able to actually hold a discussion with the original authors, I'm just about ready to call it a day with this mod and leave it up as "fixed" version of Jaggarsfeld and nothing more. Option 2 is to simply upload one last version. This version will have the scripts replaced with General Stores for those having script issues, and I'll call this mod "final" at that point. If this happens, I will move on to my own house mod which will be greatly inspired by Jaggarsfeld, but with far more versatility in it's design, and another house mod I've been toying around with.

Make sure you have the right version of SKSE and that it's set up properly. Reinstall SkyUI. I can't think of much more that would cause a crash when your just opening your inventory. Bad meshes can cause seemingly random crashes as well, but if you have a pure STEP install that shouldn't be an issue. I can tell you that I've purposely deleted all the files in the Skyrim directory before and verified my cache in Steam to let it reinstall those items I deleted. This fixed an issue I had with an ENB one time.

From the shots alone, I'm inclined to go with this mod over AMB. It's a lot closer to vanilla and looks better. The darker tone of AMB often loses details. @Greg and all, When doing compares for STEP, don't forget to turn your ENB off. (Shift+F12)

Papyrus is rarely useful. Make sure all your INI settings are still good. Start over with fresh INIs if you need too. Best to use the editor rather than the configurator.

It can't circumvent it on Windows 8 or higher. The number you put in is the amount enbhost will use. So it's only going to use 4GBs which would amount to only one...maybe two instances. Even ENB is not immune to Microsoft's blunder.

I think WATER covers both. I really don't know why isoku didn't cover the troughs. I can easily make The Ruffled Feather install the trough water from WATER for STEP users. I would need some compares on The Ruffled Feather topic first, though. This has been a known issue that keep being forgot. I'll make note of it right now.

Yes, because what is used in VRAM is mirrored to RAM. ENBoost does circumvent this by loading multiple instances of enbhost.exe. Each instance will use up to the 32bit limit of system RAM. The technical limit that ENB has is 128GBs....assuming you have the system RAM.

It's taken from VRAM, if I remember correctly, and that's the reason you want to use the smallest value possible.

I asked for something similar a long time ago and Tannin told me he wouldn't implement it, but I asked in the context of wanting to use them for dividers like WB has. I use "empty mods" as dividers to section off my mod list in the left pane.

You shouldn't have anything in your data folder from any mod when using MO. Delete it from your data folder and just use the one installed in MO.

Unfortunately there is no mixing and matching with this one. It's either one or the other. The problem is that I can't find any reference as to the armor they wear and what material it's suppose to be. For this reason, I'd like to see a vanilla shot for comparison. The one that matches vanilla the best, will probably be my choice.
