  1. It's okay. My mind went there too.
  2. We don't support anything but a full STEP installation out we'd be doing endless troubleshooting and support for users. If you don't like the mods included, simply remove the assets from the compilation. Right now the compilation only contains loose files so it will not effect your game to do so.
  3. Papyrus logs, in my experience, are pretty much useless to anyone but the mod authors. I've been at this for a few years and never has the papyrus logs been useful to the user.
  4. Did you follow the update instructions found in the manual?
  5. We're keeping an eye on Mator Smash as an option for in the future. Right now, our STEP Patches are hand crafted with each release. Also, I've never ran Real Shelter so I can't say anything on that mod. What Nebulous is saying is correct.
  6. I added a step to re-enable that ESP.
  7. Is there a reference available that lists the records and their definitions? For instance I have no idea what the "NNAM - Visual Effect" is or does. This would be good info. I just can seem to find a reference.
  8. Thanks, that answers my question. I was just making sure our mod page is accurate since we are having users deselect those plugins early on in the Guide.
  9. I'll look into providing a notice to users about the hotkeys. I personally never use hotkeys, so I didn't even know the conflicts were there. As long as it doesn't merge automatically during bashing, it's not anything to worry about. I usually leave those things up to EssArrBee because he's more knowledge than I in that area. The cache on the wiki will update itself in a few hours. S4N doesn't like us forcing page refreshes. ::
  10. Been looking in xEdit. For Vivid Cloud and Fog users, you'll have to forward the cloud speed changes if using that option. Also, there are some conflicts with the "NNAM - Visual Effect" records, but I don't know what those do.
  11. Sheson, Quick question: Is it still not necessary to tick the HRDLCs in MO when generating LODs? I remember this came up before and, unless I'm mistaken, it was not necessary to tick these plugins due to the way they there generated. As long as the BSAs were loaded by MO, they would be generated correctly. Is this still true?
  12. You can find a list of required plugins for the Patches in the Compilation OP here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/9370-step-compilation/
  13. CSS extension is going away so it's placement in the document is neither here nor there at this point. Also the spacing in the document is for my own benefit since it's not final and a lot more will be added into those sections. It's not ready for the public yet, so take any line breaks with a grain of salt. In fact, you probably shouldn't be looking too far into any of it right now. With the syntax highlighting coming soon, it will probably all change anyway. I'm glad everyone at least liked the letter spacing. I was trying to give the headers a bit more of a distinguished look and that was the most minimal change I could think of.
  14. I've address most of the issues in Neb's post above. I've not included any information about Hotkeys. Users should set these up to their preferences.Guard Dialogue Overhaul - This note is still needed because xEdit will still find this ITM.Skyrim Flora Overhaul - I believe the normals are still desired.Realistic Water Two - updated with a note for ENB users as well.Birds and Flocks - no number is listed because new versions of xEdit kept finding new records to clean so we removed the number for maintenance purposes.Cover Khajiits - completely redid this mod page. Good catch.New Children - There is only one file that isn't an "Old File". Only use old files when specifically instructed to do so. That would only leave one file to download. Should be common sense.Barenziahs Glory - again...don't download old files unless directed to do so.EBQO - I'll let EssArrBee address this one.DynDOLOD - That step is actually still in the instructions, but hidden. We had it in there but found out that you actually don't need to tick these for DynDOLOD to work correctly. I'll hit up Sheson to verify though.
  15. From my understanding, there is a difference between filled and empty gems for Gamwich's as well. It's just not a color change but rather an effect change.
  16. There is not a "MQ" tag. The HQ and LQ tags simply means there is either a higher quality option than the baseline (what STEP recommends), a lower quality option than baseline, or both.
  17. Yeah, Winter Steam Sale is going on right now if anyone wants to tick a few games off their wishlists. I might be purchasing a couple off mine that are under $10 right now.
  18. I'm unfamiliar with some of the mods you have installed but your best bet is to look at the conflicting records in TES5Edit.
  19. Please read our Citizenship Guide which states: We do not tolerate the advocacy or support of pirated software on this site. Discussion of pirated software is a punishable offense on this website. Do what you want on your own time, but any further discussion on the topic of pirated software or requests for support of any software suspect to be pirated (basically anything you use, by your own admission) ... will result in a formal warning or worse. The pot has been stirred, so best to let it rest a while.
  20. My first thought was a conflict between Hearthfire Extended and ICAIO, but then I remembered ICAIO doesn't touch followers nor stewards. So this is either a conflict with one of the extra mods you've installed on top of STEP or an issue with Hearthfire Extended, itself.
  21. Is this with a complete STEP install?
  22. From the mod page: "Download and install the main file selecting the following options and only those options"
  23. Download it from Github
