I'm running this with Safety Load, SKSE loader (default 768 memory block) & ENB. I just had Skyrim run out of memory in Riverwood (alternate start: camping in the woods) after sneaking into town. My ExpandSystemMemoryX64 was set to "true". I've adjusted that to "false" and was able to start a new, sneak into town, hunt the local forests & get up to mischief in the Sleeping Giant without incident. As you say, time will tell.

Perfect for us multiple personality types who can't decide whether we're altmer/bosmer/orsimer (love the new Disparity racials, well down K). With a separate profile mod (create from the respective overwrite folder) you can keep it all sorted. -

If you decide to take the Torment plunge, GOG forums have a page of mod instructions to scale up the resolution, tweak the ui & bugfix / add cut content. KOTR blew my mind back in the day, great game. Love NWN for the D&D ruleset, where else can I get some hot 3.5 action? Pillars of Eternity is nice, but I don't have that same connection to the rules & lore. -

I've settled on Disparity with SPO & SSR from Kryptopyr, Path of Sorcery for magic, TTRSO to fill in the corners. Animal Tweaks & Combat Evolved (Core, Damage, Magic) with Vigor and Weapons & Armor Attributes for a combat overhaul. I went a bit crazy merging mods, once I get that sorted I'll dial in a proper CR. Oh, I switched out Vividian for NLA with the ENB manager, looked great & played smooth in a quick tour of Riverwood's environs. -

Good call, thanks. I didn't realize the two mods covered the same ground, or rather that Realistic AI Detection was just a re-tread of Kryptopyr's SSR detection system (as near as I can tell from reading the descriptions, thanks for getting me to actually do that ). I was under the mistaken impression that they were approaching the problem from different ends (detection vs. skills/equipment). I had both installed, I'll drop the redundant Realistic AI Detection. -
I'm working on it right now. I installed STEP: Extended & it's patch. Then I installed select mods from SR:LE, SR:LE Extended & Dovahkiin Reborn + Gameplay Rebalance. I chose STEP as a base for it's pre-made patch as Neovalen provides detailed instructions on creating your own conflict resolution patch which I will use for the additional mods I installed. Once I've got all the mods I'm interested in installed (just now completed), I will use Mod Organizer to split off logical groups of mods into separate profiles; civil war overhauled/ helgen reborn for a warrior, moonpath & summset isles for a mage. I've tried to launch an everything collection before & it definitely seems to cause a memory crash immediately. Also there's the whole string limit / save corruption issue, so only installing what I'll actually use / notice makes sense. I trimmed burn/freeze/shock effects, footprints, iNeed, loot & degradation not because they are bad mods but because I won't miss them & losing them lessen the resource & script load (I assume). Best of luck, be prepared for lots of trial & error if start down that road, but it should be fun & informative.

Always a wise choice. Hey, were you aware of Moonlight Tales Essentials Overhauled - Werewolf Halloween by ubuntufreakdragon ? I was checking out the Moonlight Tales Essentials page & saw the link to it, looks exciting, food for thought. Since I've got your thread on screen, Primal Fear looks like a very cool (or hot) bit of realism. -

I'm looking to combine Krypto's mods (Disparity, SPO & SSR-full version) plus Path of Sorcery / Lost Grimoire with The Third Race Skill Overhaul (sans Smithing & Stealth skills covered by Kryptopyr and magic covered PoS). I find stealth/detection to be overpowered even with SSR, I'm hoping Realistic AI Detection's "curve" finally brings an immersive level of apprehension to a sneaky marksman character. Throw in the combat suite recommended by SRLEX and I should really feel like I've achieved a victory after felling my Skyrim foes (not Dark Souls achieved, but I have to watch my blood pressure ). -

Read the Nexus forum posts, this (plus Krypto's Stealth Skills Rebalanced) sounds like it might make stealth characters challenging again (instead of extremely overpowered). Thanks, you made my day. -

Better to install SRLE mods on top of STEP Extended. Use Dreadflopp's Modular Install as a guide. -
@edynacio: Ditto, had it since '14 I think, good stuff. @ Darth/Lexy/All: You might consider Light Immersive Edition - Armor Progression Overhaul by cp44 as a replacer for Northgirl & UNP Rogue armors. It actually replacers Yennifer, Dark Envoy & Scarlet Dawn as well and does so by arranging the crafting requirements / armor values to be more immersive / scaled. I think it fits the SRLEX MLU synergy quite well by making you advance in skill to unlock new armors. There is also Heavy Immersive Edition - Armor Progression Overhaul by cp44 if you like the concept & want heavy armor covered as well (I wouldn't lose the zzJayMashup.esp though as it includes additional clothing sets). I was just updating my "MO profile in progress" (some day I'll actually find time to play) & dove into the SRLEX wiki, noticed some of the APO-LI armors on the list & thought I'd mention it

Monthly update: Test Universe 2.4.0 is live! Outstanding episode of Around the Verse featuring walkthrough of Caterpillar (in whitebox) with cargo, HUD and tractor beam preview. Also Top Galactic Gear featuring the M50 racer and Cherie teachs us about singularities. -
Perhaps some Equipable Maps would satisfy your appetite for classic paper cartography? Very handy & immersive, although it only covers Legendary reasons (using vanilla clutter resiurces). It should be enhanced by Book Covers, MAPS and other map & note texture replacers.

Immersive Content - Realistic Outdoor Lights by Necrocytosis This mod overhauls outdoor lighting* and would replace ELFX Exteriors & Lanterns of Skyrim in a load order. FOMOD installer offers many compatibility choices, including ELE, interior lighting mods, Point the Way and others. DynDOLOD patches (available separately) includes a patch for compatibility. TL;DR Exterior lighting overhaul with scripted day/night lanterns/etc. configurable through MCM. * link to detailed description Nexus article.

Try Kryptopyr's mods; Smelters for Riften & Solitude similar to long lost, adds the two inconveniently missing cities. Blacksmith Chests adds player storage with auto-sort to city smithing locations. All you really need without the CK hassle.

I set a LOOT rule to put Disparity after the first person ring plugin, but haven't done any proper test. Still tinkering with my install, really need to actually play some :confused: -

TL;DR I've played the vanilla Cidhna scenario & was disappointed by the environs, this mod will, hopefully, correct that.

Have you considered Blood & Silver Cidnha Mine Expanded by nerdofprey? Looks good, still maintained by the author. I'm a check it out, start a STEP thread, will report back. Also, if you haven't already checked out Death Alternative Your Money or Your Life by BralorMarr, you should. There is already a STEP thread for this, although it's out of date, and the author recently solved the issue mentioned in our thread (see Nrxus thread for more detail). -

On the gripping hand, have you tried Crash Fixes by meh321 &/or considered the possibility that it's string size that's corrupting the save? If you have several string heavy mods, and 20+ hours played, and repeatedly crash when attempting to save now perhaps that's the issue. There is a chart of various mods and empirical data on their sting impact in the SRLE Extended support section, might be more help on the subject in the land of kink. -
