I'm enjoying Relighting Skyrim with ELE and using the ENB (Skyrim Re-Engaged for Obsidian currently) to enhance lighting further (the ENB menu option to adjust interior & exterior brightness is very nice). I just saw/added Dynamic Immersive Seriously Dark Dungeons from your Trello board suggestions & am excited to see how that changes the dungeons' lighting. My eyes are usually tired by the time I get a chance to play, so the extra dark environments aren't usually to my liking, although the sound great in theory. I like the idea of hardcore realism more than the reality of it, I need to find a good balance of realism & entertainment. Your (meaning everyone) mileage Will vary. Best wishes to you & the whole family, thanks for finding time to spend with us

Re- the Trello Board @ Lexy: Disclaimer, my build isn't your build (see modwatch link below if specifics needed). FYI, I have the plugin for TMB Vanilla Armors merged & with QUARK merging into my bashed patch I do not get a start menu for SSE on launch. Removing QUARK allows SSE to proceed to start menu as normal. For what's it's worth, there may be some dependency between the two mods, you may already know/this may not be relevant to you. @ Sthaag: Re- Fires Hurt, loved it in LE now excited to use in SSE after seeing your suggestion. I notice it is in form 43 (as it is LE mod), and has scripts. Do you convert to form 44 with the creation kit for use in SSE? Have you had success merging the plugin with the Merge Plugins Standalone? Just curious if you already know these answers, I'll be experimenting on my own soon. Peace, love and continued success to you all :-)

I paid Beth full price on release day for Skyrim & her DLC, and got my free copy of SSE, would have been a bargain (as you showed, nice maths) at twice the price. I recently gave STEP the same (donate if you can, it feels good) as this community does at least as much work. Much love to the folks at Beth & the community that supports them. Good luck on figuring out the achievements issue, now I'm curious too.

You can verify your achievements by looking at the The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Special Edition in the library page of your Steam application (easier to peep at the overlay, except its disabled for stability). Have you been unlocking achievements? With all the modding/testing I've been doing I've only unlocked 11/75, and none of that is recent, but one day I'll start playing seriously. To be honest, I've never really cared about the achievements, I think my hours played are better bragging rights fodder (3789 hours in LE, probably worthy of an intervention).

I'm running DynDOLOD @ 1024 max with RWT & everything in the list below, no issues with CTD entering/leaving. I've got RWT / iNeed compatibility and extended ambience. I did just CTD out of a three way magical scrum with Bandits, Vampires and my new best friend Ralof leaving Helgen but that wasn't unexpected all things considered.

Nice storytelling, respect for the RP. I started as the owner of Lakeview Manor, so not roughing it so much, but we Redguard are more cultured than you northern savages. I sympathize with your struggle to acquire leather for armor, I've stalked deer all the way to Helgen in my farmers clothes. Quite concerned bandits will see me before I see them as I use iHud to hide the crosshair/stealth detection "eye".

That's impressive, he puts up with a lot I've been screamed at for 5 hours at a time, occasionally in Italian, and had freshly opened beers thrown at me. Latin probably classes it up quite a bit. Oh, wait, you're talking about gaming. Nevermind. Circling back to topic, sorta, I've tried that Frostfall shipwrecked on the northern coast start - hardcore indeed. I've cut Frostfall to reduce script load and don't miss it. It seemed like I was stuck in Standar mode always looking for warmth instead of playing the game. I do like iNeed, seems more forgiving and less distracting. Paired with SAFO and health regen off I need to eat to heal so it just sorts itself, and sleeping to keep Pumping Iron doing it's thing.

The Drogo actor also took a turn at Conan, and Conan is classical literature, so kudos on your high standards. As far as going lite and cherry picking from the Guide, been there playing that (see link below). The picture of the german shepherd being sworn in had me for CaS, & absolutely **** mudcrabs. With the combat overhaul I've got going they will cut a newb in two if you focus too much on boiling them in their shell (brute force & ignorance is not a good combo with the flames spell, but fresh steamed crab is too tempting).

Regarding You Hunger, iNeed is already in the guide and can be adjusted in it's MCM to be a reasonable facsimile. There are options to make food scarce (largely replaced with salt), owned (can be purchased from farmers and such during daytime), and to allow spoilage (decreasing benefits and eventual removal). This avoids additional plugin slots and the need to further conflict resolve (there is method to your madness ). Oh, much love to the Edit patchers, perhaps one day we will have a Dual Sheath Redux facsimile for SSE (keeping an eye on Ecotone, and also hope alive that there will be a second coming of Neovalen).

I'm just wrapping up a build based on Omega (and everything else I can throw in with it), my Modwatch is linked below. Omega can be installed in a few flavors, primarily MLU or Skyrim Revamped dominant and Enai-rim oriented, see the Nexus page and open the spoilers for specifics ("What does each Mod actually do?"). I'm using the OMEGA MLU AIO Complete option from the FOMOD, it replaces MLU (with an esp of the same name so patches work as originally intended), includes Mortal Enemies & WeaponAF changes, it also includes Skyrim Revamped - Complete Enemy Overhaul game settings & encounter zones so SR-CEO is no longer needed. Wildcat & Ultimate Combat are patched but still required. The Complete option includes/improves the MLU-Zim's Immersive Artifacts patch requires ZIA as well as Hammett's Dungeon Packs & Forgotten Dungeons. As you can see there are a lot of options, better to check the page and explore under the many spoiler tags for all the info. I'm not knowledgeable enough to give insight into how this would integrate with Lexy's guide and CR patches, but I'm sure you can dig into that yourself :-) BTW the author claims the appropriate permissions for the included/replaced mods according to the description, of course the original mods should be endorsed to show support :-) *edit: There's also an option for a Classic Classes replacer, a mod which I had missed before and am no excited to try.

Thanks for the advice. I'm interested in keeping ICAIO in my current build. It's compatibility page mentions JK's Whiterun & Riverwood Lite as well as Dawn of Skyrim Classic as being compatible. I had a brief affair with the JK experience in LE but after the initial thrill cut it for the fps hit. I believe I was running Inconsequential NPCs or Populated Cities plus Everybody's Different (skyproc patcher to rescale npcs to lore heights, I really miss that one)so the town overhauls were likely not the only performance drag. Anyway, I've got my current build just about sorted, I might try dropping in the ICAIO compatible overhauls to, what's the saying, "tart it up" a bit? I've gone way off guide, but y'all are a great source of DIY knowledge so I keep lurking this forum.
