MO, Custom Race, Body Replacer, PCEA, etc.
redirishlord replied to shojikun's question in Mod Organizer Support
"The animation work fine on Custom Race, but SG texture & UNP/B BBP Bodies does not appear on my Custom race" You need to determine the file path for the custom race (probably best to check the custom racemods page for that information, you could also try the mod's information window in Mod Organizer and check the file tree tab) and copy the SG texture & UNP/B BBP Body files to their proper locations in that path. "Animation, only works on Custom Race (As intended), but on Vanilla Race/NPC will show in T Pose" This has to do with PCEA, I think, and I'm not very familiar with that. FNIS has an optional checkbox for it, but if that doesn't solve the T pose issue I'm not surewhat else to try. Again probably best to try the FNIS and PCEA pages on Nexus. Sorry I'm not more help, I figured checking the box in Generate FNIS for Users would sort that for you. -

Outstanding, thanks for confirming CJ, I'm upgrading to ETaC v13. I followed your recommendations on JK's overhauls but added Dawn of Whiterun to his compatible WR file, my fps was tolerable there and I like it being a crowded trading hub. You were spot on about Windhelm, I prefer JK's take on it, and Blue Piano's Riften. -

That should install as expected with the options indicated above, although I'm no PCEA expert myself as I don't use that mod. -

For PC body replacer (unless we're talking about the usual UNB body and not a player only replacer, UNP shouldn't need any special handling) and such you might need to ask for help on that mod's specific forum. I use FNIS and EBD, but nothing beyond those patchers and the pre-packaged textures for EBD. -

Those changes sound great, I do enjoy the Dawn of series but I did notice a performance hit recently in areas combining DoS & JK's. I'm curious regarding ETaC v13, are you continuing to use the v12 patches in the absence of an update? I currently have ETaC v12 installed and have been postponing updating to v13 in anticipation of new patches (but I'd love to play with the new content). -
I've been using a Razer Nostromo and a trackball mouse, the gamepad's keybinds get read as a keyboard so no compatibility issue. Since this gives you a thumbstick for each hand it's got that whole console controller ergonomic thing going on. The current equivalent is the Razer Tartarus which retailsfor about 70 pounds or $80 usd.

You have; [/] GENDER Specific Animations [/] SKELETON Arm Fix [/] xp32's PC Exclusive Animation Path All checked active in the v5.1.1 Generate FNIS for Users before selecting Activate and creating files? If so, scroll down the mod's description page to the Installation Exteneded section and carefully follow it step by step. -

I notice that my ENB related splashes usually complete before my main menu appears, so I'm not sure that disabling that will do anything positive. I have wondered about the effect of removing unnecessary content in MO, especially after seeing SR:LE's instructions in regard to not instling readme and other unnecessary files. I have been unchecking or removing redundant files (with the gray lightning bolt) as well. I believe the largest positive impact on loading times for me has been to DDS optimize my textures and use performance versions (2k texture, 1k normals when available, 1k exterior otherwise). Basically just getting back to STEP basics after straying away on memory patch 3.0 fueled confidence. I'll update my profile soon now that I've trimmed some unnecessary fat to reduce my load. -

UPDATE: This works, but I needed to set LOOT metadata to ensure ETaC Complete loads after the relevant .esp plugins & ETaC Resources loads after the appropriate .esm plugins -
Thanks CJ, free is a very good price.

Follow any applicable SR:LE &/or REGS guide instructions on that front, you'll get plenty of support if there's an issue. I've got notes on my STEP profile page that track what I'm using and what I've had success with, but in the end it's mostly trial and error (which is why I share my results). It hadn't occurred to me that the ETaC patches would have NavMesh edits, until I saw holes in the Rorikstead terrain. I'm off to test my new ETaC v12 patches merge this afternoon, hopefully the issue is resolved by leaving ETaC Complete Plaguesword patch standalone. -

FWIW Regarding ETaC v12; I had previously merged all the ETaC v12 patches (I'm still using v12 until the ETaC v13 &/or REGS ETaC v13 patches become available) but experienced terrain issues related to merging navmeshes (explained at length in this forum by CJ & others). It turns out that the EWDR, ORS, Plaguesword & Taverns patches contain navmesh edits. The WC Holidays, LoS, NSutR, BFT, Falskaar & RS kids (available separately) patches are safe in this regard. -

I have launch lag similar to Nearox's and a ridiculous amount of mods installed, launching from a HDD. If "several minutes" isn't hyperbole, you definitely got a unique (non-REGS) issue. I use the SUM patcher with ASIS, DSR & EBD and it does take quite a while to complete - good time to go get a snack or catch up on STEP forum news. -
Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
redirishlord replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Since you have a STEP Extended profile in MO; why not use the Profile Manager drop down menu to create a copy of your current, name it SR:LE and then install the SR:LE mods in addition to the existing STEP Extended build. Your previous work will be safe in the original profile, with your new SR:LE install in its own. You can place your bashed patch and other profile specific files into "mods" like "STEP Extenede Overwrite" & "SR:LE Overwrite". I'm using a hybrid of STEP Extended / SR:LE / REGS, my STEP forum profile page has various notes on what I've had success with, but using the suggestion above to create a SR:LE profile copied from your STEP Extended is your best / easiest way to go, then just follow Neo's guide. -

Good news: Menathradiel posts today; "My goodness! I must first apologise for not being around for so long. I have been absolutely swamped this summer, and hardly ever at home for months now. I will try to go back through the thread and answer questions (and also PMs in my inbox) this evening/tomorrow, but it might take me a while. On that note, I will be away from home, yet again, from Friday 26th Sept until Thursday 9th October. This is the last trip I am anticipating this year, so I will be free to get back to modding while things are quiet during the winter." -

ACCEPTED Viewable Faction Ranks (by Reath1)
redirishlord replied to Nearox's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
There should be a +1 option for you Staff types, settle for a thank you instead? Thank you EDIT: Probably best if 2.3.0 is a ways off, very minor debugging and additional faction/group inclusions appear to be ongoing. By debugging I'm referring to things like Blood Kin gender specific titles being swapped and so forth (very minor, and fixed immediately upon report). I expect this to be in good shape once 2.3.0 is imminent. -

Provincial Courier Service by Arthmoor has been updated 18, September; "Version 1.2.4 Split the house location into exterior and interior components so NPCs passing through won't ask if the player is lost.Added radiant keywords, ledger, and strongbox to allow the courier's residence to be chosen for Thieves Guild fishing jobs and heist jobs.Added radiant object keywords to allow the courier's residence to be chosen for Companions animal extermination quests." Will this affect your existing ELE patch for same? -
