  1. I installed it yesterday. I can't tell a difference from the original mod, which is a good thing I guess.
  2. I don't like it one bit. It doesn't fit in at all. It looks like taken from Osmodius' Windhelm. It probably doesn't matter though. Up until now I had no idea there were two horse heads in Solitude
  3. After a bit of quick testing, I decided to abandon Radiant Potions mod. The stickers and extra textures look nice, but the detail is nowhere near what Gamwich's mod offers. Plus the additional unique bottles never helped me recognize the potions anyway And it looked a bit like circus with all those pictures and colours, too. And looking at the comments, it seems like he does have plans to expand the mod further (I saw something about beer, ale and similar stuff).
  4. I read you. I really like Gamwich's sense of detail, but the Radiant pot(s)ions are difficult to beat with the awesome variety. I hope Gamwich will expand on the mod in future.
  5. Boris and his naming ideas, it cannot get more confusing I always thought that VideoMemorySizeMB refers to, you know, VRAM. Apparently there's no way to prevent ENBoost from using RAM (I always had the impression it caused stuttering).
  6. I think the Radiant... mod deserves a comparison too.
  7. All I can say is I used the settings and ini file from the STEP wiki. I really don't know anything about these things, but what matter to me is there is noticeable increase of quality ingame. Whatever voodoo is going on behind the scenes, I don't want to know
  8. I had actually sent him a lot of material (as a feed for thought) including most of the statues a few months ago before I got... retired, but I think he's on indefinite break from modding with no immediate intentions to come back, sadly :(
  9. There are tons of super small and supposedly easy to fix things that might not be gamebreaking but would make life easier, and yet, I'm afraid Bethesda doesn't care one bit, despite the fact Skyrim is their most successful game and some of the people in there are supposedly avid gamers...
  10. Psst, don't give them funny ideas, they might break stuff instead.
  11. I might not be seeing and hearing things after all. Kayanakoe 2 kudos 221 posts I've been having issues with the ENB color options for the wolves. I try to select, let's say black wolves become gray and when I go in game they are all black. In other words, regardless of which I choose, any choice I make returns to the default colors. :| It's the only issue I've come acrossed in this mod. It's very good but I'd like to use other colors and cant. I can't use ENB so I hope it's not purposely limiting me because I don't. (posted 28.1.)
  12. €18000 is like 2-3 times the average yearly income in this country, so I assume the rest of the world must be living on much higher standards Oh btw, it's not EUR but GBP, so ~$27000.
  13. https://www.bethblog.com/2015/03/02/skyrim-workshop-file-limit-is-now-limitless/ It's interesting that they didn't completely abandon the game, but it's still just an update to allow larger mods on Steam. I highly doubt they'd sneak any, even if insignificant other changes into the game. It would be perfect time to do so, though. I think this update will even break some mods for a while due to different version number and who knows what else. SKSE will probably need to be updated too.
  14. You're most probably right in that ENB overrides it. It seems like it makes no difference what you set it to as long as you run ENB(oost).
  15. I was thinking NSuTR caused more problems than what good it brough to the table on multiple occasions. All those compatibility patches people have to create, that must be pure hell. And it doesn't help much that Prometheus completely abandoned it (with some bugged meshes, btw).
  16. I checked a few items from Gamwich's pack yesterday, and after some "testing" was really surprised how nice the vanilla pottery textures were. I was almost undecided whether I liked Gamwich's versions better. I hope he expands on these kinds of retextures. Imo, he's one of the best (and very few) current authors on Nexus these days.
  17. Oh are you saying the mod is incompatible with NSuTR in its default state?
  18. I am very interested in the bFull screen parameter. Hopefully someone knows something about it. Oh, and a question: Are the parameters under [FIX] meant mostly for "full" ENB (that is with all the stuff people normally use)? Specifically, I was looking at FixSubSurfaceScattering and FixAliasedTextures. Will these do anything when I only have UseEffect=true under [GLOBAL] in enbseries.ini, and everything else disabled?
  19. The silverware could really use a bit more polishing. It looks unnecessarily rough. It's still nice, though.
  20. Well the thing is, the black wolf from option 1 looks identical ingame. I don't know what to think. Maybe it's something about the mesh? But I know nothing about how these things work, so I can only speculate. One thing I immediatelly noticed was how the wolves look completely different than those from the screenshots in the installer. The brown wolf for example I've just noticed I mixed them up, the middle option for black wolf is actually "dark timber". Anyway the top picture I posted is supposed to look like this ingame ENB is mentioned on several occasions, so I hope the mod is not supposed to be used by full ENB users only (I have almost all effects disabled and only use it for the parallax fix).
  21. I was very hyped when I first saw the mod, but that quickly faded away in disappointment when I realized he went that weird - and absolutely unnecessary - "omg boobz" Nexus way :/ P.S. For Talos I recommend Leanwolf's mod.
  22. Oh the file sizes ARE the same, but th blockiness disappears. I used the alternative constraints (DXT compression).
  23. I have absolutely no idea what's going on. I even created a new save with just the unofficial patches and this mod, and the damn wolf still looks the same if I choose grey option. There are no additional files anywhere, and the installer is not wrong. The brown wolf (the middle option) works fine. But the grey wolf shows up like this: ...the same as the black one.
  24. I am not sure what's wrong, but no matter what I select for the first option (black wolf), they look the same ingame - very dark ash-like grey with a bit of brown in it. --- Right, the brown wolf works, but if I choose the grey one on the first page, it looks the same as if I chose black. I see correct files are installed though, so I have absolutely no idea where is it pulling the texture from :O_o:
  25. Tannin, could "Work on a new virtualisation library that is more flexible and supports 64 bit" possibly mean better loading times? Just getting Skyrim to start (not loading a game) takes a fair amount of time with large amount of mods, so any improvement in this way is much, much welcome.
