  1. The mod sounds great. I truly hope it is as compatible as it claims to be with other mods, and also I hope that it can truly replace many other mods effectively.
  2. I forgot to add that Step 4-2 of the same section I just talked about should be modified slightly due to the part about renumbering FormIDs - the newest Merge Plugin for xEdit is a little different than it used to be when you first wrote those instructions.
  3. That's exactly my point. EDIT: See steps 7,8, and 9 of that section. Those should be changed because they are outdated.
  4. Machienzo Gameplay Tweaks - merging instructions should be revised to exclude moving any of the ESPs to "Optional ESPs", since all 3 included mods are now fully merged and all 3 can be disabled after creation of the merged package. EDIT: BTW, I fixed your July 22, 2015 guide changelog instructions myself regarding the merging issue we previously discussed.
  5. Pickable Cave Fungus outside of Zion - instructions need to be added to say to move the "Pickable Cave Fungus.esp" to "Optional ESPs". Author's notes: "NOTES Each download (normal and ''No Honest Hearts'') includes multiple files, one which modifies only the Mojave, and another which also modifies areas of the Big MT (Old World Blues). USE ONLY ONE ESP, NOT BOTH. If you want to be able to pick normal Cave Fungus in the Big MT's caves, use the "with OWB" version." You also don't include that esp in the merged plugin. EDIT: In addition to this, it looks like some of the Yuki mods are out of alphabetical order in the guide when they don't need to be.
  6. That mod kills framerate horribly - it's bad. It's totally not worth installing due to that. I am referring to the 2k Lite version. Either a fix has to be sought or it simply should not be in the guide.
  7. I forget what all that I did to try to fix this issue, but it was possibly fixed by starting MO with admin privileges.
  8. Discussion thread: DRAGON PRIEST by Kajuan Wiki Link Looks like a nice retexturing of the dragon priests. The author definitely did a lot more to improve upon the textures than just trying to run some filters on them.
  9. They really should have at least 2 OS's. If they want them to run behind-the scenes the same way, then that's one thing. But at least provide a proper desktop interface for an OS running on a desktop. As far as I know, it's still a large enough part of the market.
  10. Uncut 2,3,4, and 7 are only esps. They merge completely into the merged package, so after creating the merged package those mods can be completely disabled. Uncut 1 (Rotface to Riches) and 5 (A Wilder Wasteland) include other files. Uncut 1's other files are sound files and none of them end up in the merged package, so Uncut 1 must remain enabled... but, since the esp does merge that part should be disabled (by placing it into "optional" folder) to save from using an extra plugin. Uncut 5's other files include 1 texture file and 9 sound files. The texture file and only one of the sound files end up in the merged package. There are 8 remaining sound files that do not end up in the merged package. One of the ... Forget all this above - I just reinstalled the offending parts of the situation and figured out the problem. Basically, the problem is that the changelog states that "Returning should be able to re-merge the files without issue.", but this is not the case. Uncut 5 (and possibly Uncut 1) must be reinstalled before merging again. That was the problem. You should change the changelog to say that everyone should re-install Uncut 5 (maybe Uncut 1 too).
  11. Natorius - check this: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/8179-reducesystemmemoryusage-causing-performance-issues/
  12. The only reason I said over "1.4 GB" is because that's what the STEP Guide says it should be for STEP Extended (lol), and I know that I have more than what is included in Extended. But I don't have anything in my mod list that modifies the water wheel (I don't think). So I have no idea why DynDOLOD messed that up. If I disable the DynDOLOD files, then the water wheel appears again. I really don't know how DynDOLOD works, so I can't really diagnose my own issue well... In this case, all I can try to do is follow the instructions provided to me to use.
  13. It looks to me like it's in the same situation as Rotface to Riches, so why isn't it treated the same in the guide instructions? EDIT: Also, "NV InteriorsProject A Room With A View" is at version 2.1 now. EDIT2: And "Willow - A Better Companion Experience" is at version 1.09 now.
  14. Maybe I don't know what you mean. I just did the process again - same result as what I said in the last message.
  15. I just re-merged the New Vegas Uncut mods and realized that some sound mod files from A Wilder Wasteland didn't get merged (ie - Sound/Voice/*.*), yet the instructions in the guide say to disable the mod after merging. Is this correct?
  16. I must have install DynDOLOD improperly then... I have STEP Extended installed, plus SRO to be overwritten by everything, plus extra mods so I am thinking the size of my output should be over 1.4 GB. The size of my output was a little over 1 GB though - I thought something was wrong when I noticed that... Have NO clue what it could be though, since I followed the DynDOLOD instructions... I thought.
  17. Shouldn't the "BSAs and Mod Organizer" section be removed from the guide or heavily modified? Most of the information in there about BSA limits and BSAs always being overwritten by loose files is outdated. Some of the tips about BSA extraction could be useful still.
  18. #2 - You mean the data directory under the 'Archives' tab.
  19. I'm confused with option #2... My files are in alphabetical order, and thus the AI bsa is somewhere in the middle of the list under the data directory in the Data tab. Are you telling me they should not be in that order? EDIT: That's because you meant the "Archives" tab.
  20. OK... Anyone not missing the water wheel?
  21. Anyone missing the water wheel in Riverwood after installing DynDOLOD? I can see water effects (splashing) on the surface of the river below, but the water wheel is completely missing and I can walk right though the water where the wheel should be.
  22. Personally, I don't think the difference is extremely obvious. Have a look at the shadows in crevices in your screenshots. From my understanding, AO should cause darker shadows in the crevices/inner edges. Do you see darker shadowing in those sorts of places?
  23. That's my experience (CCO Leveled Lists esp).
  24. From what I recall of the trilogy... The first game could use some mods to make the fighting better. Mass Effect 1 was great, but there were some very annoying aspects of combat (particularly with teammates) that got so much better in ME 2 and 3.
