  1. OK, so it was another patch file referring to the BBD .ESM. Good - glad you were able to resolve the issue.
  2. There is probably another mod in the guide that has a compatibility patch or something for BBD. You should do a "find" search in the guide for "dome" to see, then remove the patch, which will remove the master requirement. The other thing is that you have to rebuild your bashed patch. EDIT: I couldn't find any other patches in the guide for compatibility for BBD, so it looks like you just have to rebuild your bashed patch, which you should do anytime you remove/add/move plugins (.esps or .esms) in your setup.
  3. With the push to improve level and skill requirements, and quest spacing I present you mods that enhance the way the Mage Guild quest line works: Not So Fast - Mage Guild by CDCooley: https://www.nexusmods...rim/mods/64633/ College Days - Winterhold by jvr2400: https://www.nexusmods...rim/mods/56699/ College of Winterhold Entry Requirements by TorchicBlaziken: https://www.nexusmods...rim/mods/38448/
  4. It sounds like that is the only thing that needed to be done - simple marker move in USKP.
  5. Good idea - the stats/level requirements make sense and will feel more rewarding.
  6. His trolls look great - this one looks like a winner.
  7. If after some time still no response, maybe you could try sending Arthmoor a PM - I've talked with him about a few things in the past that way.
  8. You should bring these ideas up to the UP team, especially since you are a well-recognized mod author who has made a ton of great mods that lots of people use.
  9. I didn't know that WB didn't automatically use the ones listed in LOOT. I always assumed that it did, since I don't think this topic was ever mentioned in the STEP guide or F&L. Told you I didn't really know how bash tags worked all that well... :)
  10. It makes me wonder if the UP team is even aware of this potential issue, since the easiest solution would seem to be to just stick with calling it the USKP.
  11. Most of that sounds good. You'd also have to "Clean Masters" in the STEP Extended Patch ESP also, to remove EBT from the STEP Extended Patch ESP's list of masters. Maybe "Sort Masters" also is a good idea too, but I'm not sure if that could do harm ever... I typically see it recommended.
  12. What about this - what you brought up earlier?
  13. Do you mean a F&L conflict patch or the Generate Bash Tags script, or both? I imagine that a F&L conflict patch would rely on the Generate Bash Tags script having been properly run. Another alternative to having the Generate Bash Tags script be a requirement for all mods (or many mods) - couldn't someone in the LOOT team be given a list of proper bash tags for all the mods in the guide? Then they could mark all the mods appropriately through LOOT and LOOT will set the correct tags for Wrye Bash. Then the "Generate Bash Tags script" could be a recommendation for just the merged patches or for mods custom placed in an otherwise F&L guide mod setup. I don't know if part of what I just stated is an incorrect assumption, like maybe how LOOT works, but just some ideas.
  14. See this thread: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/8505-mod-organizer-not-starting-the-fnv-4gb-loader/
  15. That's what I've done with my Skyrim installation, since I went beyond STEP Extended and put in many extra mods. I didn't really want to delve into doing it for FNV also (though in this case I stuck pretty tight to the F&L guide), since it's a lot of work and oftentimes I question my judgment when trying to determine which edit should win when reviewing certain types of conflicts.
  16. I will agree that the BoS version of the falmer does look the most menacing due to the darker tone of the skin and shadows which bring out some of the lean and gaunt features, including the veins.
  17. You are using MO v1.2.18. That is the problem. The guide assumes the user is using a newer version, which does not have the same limits that 1.2.18 has on BSAs.
  18. Should we use it on every plugin we have installed, or will some plugins get messed up by it (in other words - given inappropriate tags)? Is this something that has been thoroughly tested and will/should be in the guide, or is it still in the testing phase? One thing I never delved into is the manipulation of the edits of mods though bash tags. So far I've let others figure it out and tell me what should be what. :) I understand the end results when I view them in xEdit, I just don't understand the bash tag "commands" very well.
  19. I agree - they should just stick with the USKP and say that every version past so and so is patching "Skyrim - Legendary Edition". And then just leave a copy of the last USKP version where it was only Skyrim base game under "Old Versions". This would improve compatibility with many older mods that no longer get updates.
  20. EFF - Extensible Follower Framework Some guy (the orangutan avatar person) just asked what it meant. ;)
  21. Or maybe provide another ELE Patch ("STEP Extended ELE Patch" or something) that gets loaded after the STEP Patch, since there would be conflicts without either including ELE edits in the STEP Patch or having a separate ELE Patch for STEP - that's why Ess included ELE in the STEP Extended patch. Personally, I think it would be better to have it be its own patch. Yeah, it adds an extra plugin to the list by doing it that way... I for one would prefer to have it separate, since I don't use it.
  22. The start menu situation I think has already been addressed here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/7741-fonts-do-not-display-in-main-menu/
  23. Nice - I'll have to download this and fire it up. I'll let you know, since I was one of those people it missed the mark for (I'm currently using the Unsafememoryhack).
  24. I didn't notice much difference in the compares. One problem with the compares though is that they are always a fraction of the size that I would actually see in the game (which would be fullscreen). Those little details are more apparent when viewing fullscreen. One thing I don't like about SKELETON are the nostril holes in the skull.
