  1. Main problem I am seeing is they look too square and sharp-edged from the screens, besides requiring more plugins.
  2. Are you sure it isn't an interface mod? It adds new items to the MCM interface telling you your factions and afaik doesn't affect actual gameplay.
  3. Hmmm... it never registered to me that it wasn't supposed to look that way! LOL but I think she's right ;)
  4. From the compares, I think I prefer current STEP atm. The face/jaw does not appear to have increased in size proportionately to the neck. The smaller wolf has bigger, almost skeeverish ears. The fur, especially on the smaller one, has better detail, but the taller one appears to somehow have lost some of its contrasting colors. And the fur on the neck looks out-of-place sticking up on the taller one, and it seems much shorter on the underbelly (this wolf has been sitting far too much!). Not sold on the textures. That said, I'll want to check these out in-game.
  5. Many times the 2k texture is just unnecessary. Sometimes it is absolutely better. We're not a fan of saying 2k is always better than 1k. We are interested with the results, and sometimes 2k eyes is just ridiculous.
  6. I know I might get stones thrown at, but I seriously think I would be fine without an antivirus. Anything remotely strange I do in a virtual machine.
  7. Tech, are sure about iBlurDeferredShadowMask and bDeferredShadows? I don't think that has anything to do with zprepass. Did a search on the 0.266 release thread, and Boris merely mentions not touching "shadow mask or zprepass" in the INIs. From the succinctness of his verbiage, I would be inclined to think he only meant bShadowMaskZPrepass and bMainZPrepass. iBlurDeferredShadowMask regulates blur on shadows. bDeferredShadows does God-knows-what.
  8. Maybe something like "NPCs may appear naked until the Bashed Patch is run at the end of this guide."
  9. I use this in my personal setup and like it.
  10. I think that it is a timing issue. It doesn't trigger for you because of how fast your rig is, but the error reporter thinks there is a problem for those of us with worse specs because it takes considerably longer to build FS. Never mind that it is fixed now.
  11. Are you running Windows 8.1?
  12. 2 JBC + Water + free junior frosty (keychain) = $3.50 (Wendy's)
  13. I am using Windows 8.1.
  14. Well, I haven't really looked at it yet, but a little wary of the new version here.
  15. Hmmm... I got the problem, and the workaround works. STEAM!!!! Don't mess up my Skyrim! I wonder if this problem only affects MO users...
  16. Hmmm.... I seem to be experiencing this as well... investigating...
  17. Hmmm. Such a list would get huge and difficult to imagine. You can always search the nexus, and endorsements do tend to tell a bunch. I'll have to test this mod. I'm thinking, however, that this might be more of a personal preference type mod. I rarely play in 1st person.
  18. That's pretty much what STEP Extended and/or Packs are.
  19. Nevertheless, despite my blunt analysis, there are a few advantages that this specialized solution offers, besides the fact that I highly admire virusek's modding abilities. It appears to have multi-monitor support and "stretching from lower internal resolution to window size," so in some situations, people may find it advantageous. Just I don't see that as necessary for the basic STEP setup and more of a preference, like the skyrim.exe mod.
  20. Borderless Window should be done in ENBoost. Showracemenu precache killer isn't needed with the Sheson memory patch. Double Cursor Fix is redundant with ENBoost. Changing TESV process priority should be done by adding -priority argument to SKSE. Basically, unless this mod does borderless window better somehow, it is unnecessary with the STEP setup.
  21. Fixed that piece of forum code. It's all over the place. Something broke it awhile back. Staff have been fixing it as they find it. Vivid Landscapes is more for ENB users.
  22. Short guide I made for myself: Troubleshooting CTDIs Skyrim Memory Patch being used (via Skyrim Script Extender or SSME)? Use Memory Blocks Log to verify Is ENBoost installed and working? Do you get the in-game message that ENBoost is active? Are your ENBlocal.ini settings correct? Use Skyrim Performance Monitor to verify Are you using unorthodox INI tweaks? Are the Unofficial Patches installed correctly? Are they checked in the mod list? Are they in the correct priority order in the mod list? Are they checked in the plugins list? Do you have any active plugins that are missing a master? Check for a warning icon in the plugins list before a plugin. Can TES5Edit successfully load all your plugins in one go? Start disabling mods and find which mod is causing CTD Do any of your plugins have errors that cannot be resolved? Test plugins with the Check for Errors option in TES5Edit Test patches first, as they are most likely to have outdated records due to mod version changes without patch update. Not all errors cause CTD Did you update/add a mod recently? If so, see if there are any issues with that mod or compatibility issue with it and your setup. Some mods will cause CTD due to a corrupt mesh.
  23. Been using it for, like, forever. No-brainer in my opinion. Marked as Accepted.
