  1. Could you open the console in game and enter the following: getini "bAllowLoadGrass:Grass"Let me know if it returns a 1 or a 0.
  2. I just mirror the vanilla presets for that value. It probably makes little difference if you use DynDoLOD, but I haven't really tested it.
  3. Because setting uGridsToLoad above 5 is highly discouraged, since it can cause issues. But some people use it to good effect, so I have included it. It is far better to use DynDoLOD to extend your distant visuals. You probably need to read more about the setting if you don't understand why it has to be set to an odd number.
  4. My guess is that there is a problem in one or more of your cells, and by disabling loading cells in the background, that particular cell or cells are not being loaded, and therefore not crashing.
  5. Research has shown that this is the only value that needs changed.Unlocked tweak: FPS (aka Havok fix) for all games (previously only enabled for Skyrim Special Edition).Unlocked tweak: Clamped for all games (previously only enabled for Skyrim Special Edition).Added mod-suggested INI tweaks for JohnnyWang's Mountain Z Fight Patch.
  6. Skyrim_default.ini is normal. There should be a SkyrimPrefs.ini inside a Skyrim directory, but not a Skyrim.ini.
  7. Hang on... you said you have a Skyrim.ini in the game folder??? There should be no such file in the game folder.
  8. The files you mentioned have no impact on the game (the ini files in the game directory). They are merely used in preset creation by both the official game launcher and BethINI. There is no way modifying them changed anything in your game.
  9. I see that you have Skyrim installed inside a rather long file path. I think I have seen where this could cause strange bugs due to certain paths becoming longer than allowed by Mod Organizer. I am not certain if this is still a possibility with MO2. Your INI is fine, so that isn't the problem.
  10. Post your Skyrim.ini.
  11. Try setting bIBLFEnable to 0 in SkyrimPrefs.ini.
  12. SSE Engine Fixes.
  13. I am unsure if it will work on Linux. You may be better off manually tweaking your INI files.
  14. It sounds like you set item fade too low.
  15. It may not appear as noticeable for you because you are using DynDoLOD. I tested on a virtually vanilla test environment that I use for INI testing. I concur that fLODFadeOutMultObjects does control a lot of fps. Your INI files were already very well setup for a rig with your capabilities.
  16. A setting of 5 for fLODFadeOutMultObjects is just way too low. I could see things popping in needlessly everywhere. Lowest I'd recommend is 12. Try changing the following in SkyrimPrefs.ini and increasing fLODFadeOutMultObjects back to 30: [Display] iReflectionResolutionDivider=2 This setting affects the resolution used for screen space reflections. It has a tremendous performance impact and does not really affect visual quality much in my testing. It should offset the fLODFadeOutMultObjects bump. If you still see frame drops, try setting fLODFadeOutMultObjects to 12, as I think that's a reasonable value. It really is sad seeing top of the line software dip in FPS due to unoptimized games.
  17. Please post your INI settings. You can use pastebin. It could be mod related, but I don't normally associate that particular ini setting with big frame drops like that. The initial drop from 60 fps to 56 fps and 52 fps, sure, but not the big drops.
  18. I think you are editing the wrong SkyrimPrefs.ini file. Mod Organizer uses its own ini files, not the one in Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition. If you are using BethINI, under Setup, change the INI Path to Mod Organizer > STEP Skyrim SE. Otherwise, you can change the ini via the MO INI Editor or by locating your profile folder and manually editing them.
  19. Do you have SSE Display Tweaks?
  20. Do you have SSE Display Tweaks?
  21. BethINI High does NOT set it to 7. It is not a recommended tweak and can cause issues. I thought your game was borderless already? What are you trying to do?
  22. OK. So the ini changes are working. ENBlocal.ini is probably set to use borderless windows, so you won't see the border. These files are located in the game folder.
  23. According to the log file, everything is working correctly. It is possible that another mod is modifying the borderless setting, such as ENB. Try testing other settings, like changing the resolution to something absurd, and that should prove it is working. If that doesn't work, perhaps you have multiple installations of Mod Organizer?
  24. You are closing Mod Organizer when you run BethINI, right? You can provide me with a copy of your recent log file. As to screensharing, it should not be necessary.
  25. In Mod Organizer, click the manage Profiles button. Select the profile you are using. Ensure that Use profile-specific Game INI Files setting is checkmarked. Also, check to make sure that there is a BethINI Cache folder within the profile file location you mentioned: If there is no BethINI Cache folder there, you need to change your INI path.
