Guest Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Level 4 restores 100% health and removes 100% radiation. That's like invincibility right?
Lonewolf Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) I'm guessing the stars mean that you can pick that perk over again. The adamantinum skeleton might make you impervious to limps being crippled. Medic seems like it's a bit much too unless stimpaks are super rare.Level 4 restores 100% health and removes 100% radiation. That's like invincibility right? As Bethesda stated: "What’s important is that each of these Perks is actually a mini Perk tree*, with multiple ranks that also do new things. Gun Fu above allows even more damage the more targets you select, increasing to instant Critical Shots. Gunslinger has ranks that up the range of pistols, add a chance to disarm enemies, and even instant limb crippling shots." So it's not just a "more of the same" from each rank of a perk. Guest Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) Mandatory: Lonewolf I'm kind of at a rocky pass with this game. It's going to be buggy, the engine still sucks, and it while it looks pretty rough; I'm still looking forward to it. It's a game series with great atmosphere to me and I love the setting and music. I'm sure I will get hours and hours out of it. Now the tweaking possibility extends to other platforms, even more so. 2016 is nuts for games and VR by the looks of it. I soon just want to spend my time chilling out and playing this, at least until the year's out. I can't totally explain the feeling, it shouldn't be with the red lights flashing, but it's there. I'm sure the perks will be fine and I will WANT to be a badass by the end regardless. I know from a certain video, there is a least one new super beast that literally pops up and it ain't a deathclaw. Right, stick a clipboard to my arm, I'm off to sleep. GrantSP Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 @SparrowPrinceWhere the hell do you go surfing on the net to come up with these quotes and screenshots? Actually on second thoughts, don't tell me.Yes I know that comment above is meant to be taken in jest but, I'm sorry, that justs sticks in my throat and I get riled over content like that. Not against you, but the sick mind that thought that it is funny.

Plus, when the game is out, the first day i'm going to play it with some of my frends that are fan of the saga but do not have a PC or a console to play it. So I can't really focus on the "bad" of this game for the moment, i'm too exited.
Octopuss Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) I wonder if Bethesda learned at least as much from Skyrim to eventually fix the major bugs (which will be there, because, well, Bethesda) and not abandon the game after releasing just a few patches (how many was it for Skyrim exactly?).I also hope they will do somehing about the horrible engine for the next game if not for Fallout 4. Surely they can't keep getting away with this indefinitely. Edited November 3, 2015 by Octopuss
EssArrBee Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Skyrim made a billion dollars. They'll get away with it forever and ever.

EssArrBee Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 In the last pic there is a bunch leaves hanging on the power lines. Nice little touch. The tree LOD seems like it is higher resolution. Might be > res textures or just higher LOD settings for PC. Those pics are overall better than the PS4 ones by by a margin that makes somewhat hopeful.
Guest Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) Apart from shadow and some draw distance it looks virtually the same. The red rocket images are very close. Look at the d. LoD to the right of the last image: it's just blurry buildings. The houses in the third image are beyond atrociousness. The windows are just normal maps. It would take around 18 triangles each minimum to add a basic 3D frame, which is nothing. Still looks better than Skyrim though: Edited November 3, 2015 by Guest

Isn't that more than was ever fixed in Skyrim in all patches together?...They look 1k to me. I was expecting this for years. Most of my assumptions for their next game are true or are seeming to come true. I just have reasonable standards for their games. Yes, but W3 is certainly on another level regardless. Devs never usually fix small to medium bugs. Edited November 3, 2015 by Guest
Guest Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I don't mean to keep finding this stuff and bumping, but Fallout 4 PC settings:
Octopuss Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Looks just as crappy as Skyrim.... Where did you get this? The game is not out yet, is it?
