I don't really know what that would do unless you are lacking assets and a spawn, despawned.

The yellow textures is a pretty big problem.

Can you show me OOO plugin and bsa or your entire folder

I looked up those textures I get at mouth of the panther and it seems other people reported the same thing here.

https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/425108-some-textures-turning-grey-when-i-look-at-them-from-certain-angles/

and here

https://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion_talk:Mouth_of_the_Panther

Also yeah I'll take a screen shot inside my data folder to show you the bsa's.  That is what you are talking about right?

now to figure out what is causing moo to CTD when I loot iron arrows.  D:

For the CTD try disabling HeapReplacement in OSR

As for the assets it could be a simple typo in the directory of the mesh or w/e.

will try would hate to have to disable the heap replacement, I guess thats what ENB boost is also for though.  I redownloaded all the mods and reinstalled going to see if that works because I saved all the mods to a usb drive before reformatting and wondering if that is what could be causing it.

Very interesting hishutup.  I disabled HeapReplacement and it stopped CTDing and another thing I noticed as well is when I looted iron arrows with heapreplacement off it would take every arrow and leave only one behind.  Any idea why it's related to the heap replacement?

hmm...

What is your enblocal.ini settings for the memory section?

Out of curiosity, try setting the heap size at 512 then 450 and see

Hmm, grab a formID off of one of the objects and then open your load order in xEdit then search that form and see what pops up.

Hold ctrl and click the mesh/static/name/base and see what that record is.

If it is NOT a record post the directory and we'll see whats up

I set it to what you had listed in the beggining of your guide, but I think I will change it because it makes me stutter a lot and I don't even have any texture mods installed yet.  And are you asking me to get the form id of the arrows causing me to ctd? or the strange flickering orange textures in mouth of the panther.

Also what do you think about using moreheap? think it will have any benefit? I heard it works with OSR

For example I get some really weird oddeties even on a vanilla game like in this pic at mouth of the panther.  When I turn a certain angle the bridge and what not becomes orange.

The post above is what I am referring to as that is definitely an issue.

Damn more CTD's caused from OOO and OR.dll  this time it CTD's on the way to gottshaw in from anvil on the road.  Might just have to call OOO a loss.

Everything has a reason, even if it isn't quite understood yet. It being consistently broken is fine as it is something to go off of.

The "new" CTD could be because Oblivion is running out of heap memory where as before hand, the oblivion may have not been able to allocate a bigger block, thus CTD.

Lets disable OSR's heap replacement in favor of more heap and test again, please report back.

EDIT: be sure to place the dll in the obse\plugins\ folder.

I don't know why authors cannot pack mods correctly.

EDIT2: I mean, I could investigate the virtual side of things but that isn't something that I have a lot of knowledge on.

For sure will test right now.  I truly appreciate your for helping me man.  I wish I was a l lot smarter when it comes to this stuff.  I have over 300 hours of oblivion played trying to create a stable set up lol.

My attitude toward the game is to not take it too seriously; skyrim has the support to be fixed, oblivion does not.

Also, after the first launch paste the contents of the created ini here.

here are some screenies of the ref number.  They aren't orange all the time, only if I turn at a weird angle they flick orange and what it's actually suppose to look like.

Also sorry for taking a long time, Had to figure out where to find my steam screen shots.  I don't normally use steam overlay but to get the ref number I had to enable it real quick

Okay, so Im looking for a specific file.

Look in your oblivion folder for "Meshes\Architecture\Ships\ShipWreck01.NIF"

If you have it, archive it and send it to me.

If that file does NOT exist then load up xEdit with your full load order and press ctrl+F3

Then in the search, look for "Architecture\Ships\ShipWreck01.NIF"

If there is more than one in the list select whatever is loaded last and right click, save as and save it where ever.

Archive it and send it to me.

EDIT: if you want to do the same but with "Meshes\Landscape\CypressKneeCluster01.NIF" and "Landscape\CypressKneeCluster01.NIF", respecively
