JawZ Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 I would vote for replacement of RWT boat bobbing with this Realistic Boat Bobbing.Works as it's intended and doesn't create that immersion breaking clipping issue, STEP v2.2.9.3 worthy in my opinion. 1
phazer11 Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Huh... could have sworn we'd already taken a vote on this one. Marked for Testing.
JawZ Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 I had a similar thought, but apparently it was one of those things that slipped through the cracks.
Shadriss Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 (edited) Had this installed for a good long while, and eventually removed it for some reason I can't recall. Might have been a compatibility thing, but I honestly can't recall. What I do remember is that it was pretty much an easy install, and a good look. May have to go back and put this in, now that I think on it. EDIT: At least part of this needs an update to use USLEEP instead of the USKP. The long boats portion, specifically. So that's a third of the ships covered gone. *shrug* Edited November 25, 2015 by Shadriss
JawZ Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 (edited) As far as I can tell from the records, USKP edits aren't used and neither is USLEEP.5 XOWN - Owner3 XESP - Enable Parent1 XLCN - Location5 DATA - Position/Rotation Those are the USLEEP records to forward.Though the position records I hardly think needs forwarding and neither of the records are game breaking ones, in itself. Nebulous112 Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 It also mentions in the description that the Animated Clutter patches don't work right. They are in the download, but dropped from the installer due to "stability issues". More work may be needed to get these mods to play nice. Besides the small compatibility issues, this mod looks better than RWT. Haven't tried this in-game, though.
Kelmych Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 This mod has been in the Real Explorers Guide to Skyrim pack for a long time, and users of that pack (including me) have found the mod useful. There haven't been many reported problems with it in the REGS thread.

Shadriss Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Not saying there are problems myself, just an incompatibility with USLEEP that's come up since it's release. Until it updates to use the new Unofficial patch setup, I'm holding off on adding it back in.
Kelmych Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 The mod hasn't been updated in quite a while, so any small changes like this would need to be done with TES5Edit. If it is just a name change for the master file this can also be done with Wrye Bash.
EssArrBee Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 We know Ganda though. Just gotta get phazer or hishy to let him know. Pretty sure it was Ganda that they knew. Maybe it's MangaClub, I forget names pretty easy.
Greg Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 MangaClub is the author of Vividian ENB and he used to post here regularly.
JawZ Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 It's just a simple drag & drop procedure, no removal/replacing of master files or anything like that. The records I posted earlier, dragged with the mouse from USLEEP into RBB, and your done. And if it where to be a master file in the File Header, open Creation Kit and press ctrl+delete in the master list file, does not need to have the mod loaded just op en the Data tab and press those two buttons while having the desired master .esm/.esp file selected.Or use TES5EDIT, select the master file to remove and right click with the mouse button and select remove.
EssArrBee Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Oh, that's good. I usually fix that type of stuff with the STEP Patches. I was under the impression it was a masterfile issue with USKP/USLP.
Shadriss Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 If done modular, it is. As I mentioned, the USKP is listed as a missing master for the Long Boats file. Haven't looked at the combined version, since I figured that if one of it's components had the master, the combined should as well.
