I borked my Mega account somehow. The links may not work ATM. Just sit tight for a bit while everything syncs back up. I'm still learning the ins and outs of Mega's system vs Copy, which I used for over 2 years. Syncing folders locally isn't very intuitive like Copy where you just put everything in the Copy folder and it syncs.

Now i got the Merge Plugin Standalone working.  It seems like a great tool.

Maybe you working on this as we speak, in that case excuse me for nagging, but:

At Utilities FNVEdit

theres something wrong with:

  • Install additional xEdit script:
  • Download the script here.

Maybe this additonal script is where i get  "Generate Bash Tag"?

Cause i cant find it in the Scripts dop down menu in FNVEdit.

Instead I tried the script "BASH TAGS Autodetection" and i think it did the trick.

One more thing. Configuring the Merge Plugin Standalone (folders, and options) is something i got the jeeps about so maybe adding a little something to the guide on what the setting should be,  would relief other anxious modders out there ;)

I'm my post above I mentioned that my Mega account is messed up. I'll have it back up today. That script can be run any time.

MO setup section and each merge has something about the settings. Read that line with the big red word.

Hi! I'm at installing the "Interior Lighting Overhaul" atm, repsectively at merging its patches, but I cannot find the "ILO - NVInteriors Project.esp". The Instructions on installing this mod are a bit unclear, since it doesn't say to install the NVInteriors-Compatibility-Patch with the installer, but even if I did so I there was no "ILO - NVInteriors Project.esp". Help please and, also, thanks for this amazing guide, I cannot wait to finally dive into the madness that is now NV.

huh, now, knowing this, everything worked fine! Thanks! So it is correct, that I untick the NVInteriors-box in the ILO-Installation?

Edit: WAIT, after removing both ILO and NVI-Rewritten + Bugfix and reinstalling them again, I still don't have the ILO - NVInteriors Project.esp in Merge Standalone...

BASH TAGS Autodetection can be used ANYTIME, instead of Generate Bash Tags? (FNVEdit)

I mean you can go back and run the script when my Mega account is back up. Plus at end of the guide there's a section that instructs users to run script on a lot of plugins.

Retried again and I am really positive that I'm following your instructions and order on point. Is that file important? I mean, it even shows in the first Menu that opens when launching Merge Standalone, but then - after right click - check all - ok - it is gone.

EDIT: debugging, so obviously i frakked up. im trying to fix this now

Edit2: I got it sorted out except for the red bold part, any idea how to solve that or will it be corrected by LOOT in the end?

Does anyone actually like DEIMOS? I'm under the impression that most don't. I've played through it once and thought it was okay, but I may give it the ax since I need plugin slots.

I didn't care for DEIMOS.  I thought it was kind of stupid (relentlessly spawning mutated animals of all types working together to invade a large underground structure and way too many robots, etc) and buggy.  I didn't think it polished enough to be part of the guide.  I wish I never played it - lol.

Oh no... I was in the middle of updating my install (earlier last week) during the middle of a play, and all of these recent changes to the way merging is done has totally thrown me off.  I'm worried that elements of my game will be broken as I have lost track of where I was in the process with things having shifted around so much and different merging configurations.

EDIT: I'm honestly contemplating just deleting my whole installation right now... but I'm just going to try do something else for a while and get back to this later.  It's frustrating, because there's no easy way to go back and look at the guide before the merging instruction changes.  I'm just getting fed up with all the time I spend modding and trying to fix and tinker with things to get them right, when all I want to do is just play the game and move on to something else at this point.  I'm having nightmares about getting back into Skyrim and having to do massive overhauls on my carefully planned and configured custom installation to get up to date with the newest STEP guide for that.  Burnout...

If you already did those other merges then don't redo them. The xEdit method is still perfectly fine to use as well.

You shouldn't be stressed out about new setups since MO has profiles.

Good news everyone the pink hands issue goes away after reloading so I'm finally solid.

I thought that radio repair in good springs was going haywire but the I remembered that I touched the saloon radio before you were supposed to and even vanilla wouldn't like that
