CovertSlinky
Ok, question. What bash tags need to be incorporated to the plugin for wrye bash to place it in leveled lists when building the bashed patch? EDIT: Or should I just add it into the leveledlist manually? CovertSlinky
Ok, found some helpful info that I wasn't aware of. So, this mod only needs to be added into the leveledlists if I understand right. And because Wrye Bash sets all mods to automatic tag (with the exception of mods that have tags placed by load sorters, i.e. LOOT), then all I have to do is manually add it in the leveledlists when I build the patch, and not have to worry about adding the correct tags, correct? DanielCoffey
Correct - no manual tags are needed. WB does the correct thing and will pick up the new mod automatically. If you read the WB report that is shown when you refresh the patch, you will see it listed in the Levelled List section.
CovertSlinky
Ok, something isn't right for me, I can not get the lost library to populate anywhere on the bashed patch report as being incorporated into the patch, grrr. EDIT: Ok, I cut out the crap, and just added relev on the plugin in wrye bash. Didn't sound like I needed delev, cause if understand from your description, you are only adding to the merchants, and not removing/replacing...I think. DoubleYou
You shouldn't need to add any tags at all (pretty sure).
CovertSlinky
Then I am lost, cause the bashed patch WILL NOT show the lost library anywhere in the report as being incorporated. Adding those tags did nothing either, it showed up as a deleveler/releveler in the leveled list tab before you build it. But even then it doesn't show up in the report anywhere. What am I missing here? EDIT: Ok, wait a minute, so I removed the tags since they didn't seem to appear to be helping anyway. Put it back to automatic tag, then built the patch, and now in MO, if I highlight bashed patch in the plugin order, it shows the lost library as an enabled master. Is this all I need to see to know that the leveled list that lost library alters, is going to be noticed? Shadriss
No tags, but I did have to add it manually to the leveled lists in the patch. Don't recall having to do that before, but easy enough to figure out (in this case) and do. Do Bash tags normally flag this kind of thing, and this is just too new for Bash to recognize it or something?
CovertSlinky
I tried manually adding it, but it didn't like me. When I did it, it added the lost library but didn't add the one's that were already there.
DoubleYou
Have you considered the possibility that Wrye Bash doesn't need to patch it in your setup
CovertSlinky
WHATTTTT? Nah, that ain't it, unh uh. LOL, yeah I figured that out after just saying f*ck it, and going with it. The game is working and merchants, belathor so far, has a few of the redone books for sale. So ok-ah-dok-ah-diliO I'm an idiot :)
Shadriss
Pretty much came to that conclusion after it the bashed patch listed the Lost Library as a master. *shrug* Me Wrye Bash Dumb.
keithinhanoi
Congratulations on finishing it, Daniel, and hats off to you for yet another wonderful Skyrim mod contribution. Downloading, but since I've got work to do (on a Sunday, argh), I'll be checking it out tonight, hopefully. Thanks again!
Neovalen
Unfortunately I have to report some of the books causing ctd in merchant inventory... Looks like I am not alone in the comments. Hopefully will be fixed soon.
DanielCoffey
It was the BSA - I have just found that all the file paths are incorrect - dammit! Archive.exe stored the absolute paths. I will rebuild and reissue the BSA.
