Mangaclub Posted August 31, 2014 Author Posted August 31, 2014 hmm thats strange. please make sure the https://www.dropbox.com/s/0r0e3u7fww5o2gb/enbeffectprepass.fx.ini?dl=0 file is in your enbseries folder. Maybe some settings are copyd not right.
phazer11 Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Yeah it's there. I'll delete the one in there and plop the one you just sent over on in.
TechAngel85 Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Which DoF are you using? There are several of them. I'm using the Normal option and it's working great.
phazer11 Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I think it's set to default. Here's the latest set of screenshots with that new prepass file.https://s451.photobucket.com/user/animer/library/Vividian%20Blur%20PT2
Mangaclub Posted August 31, 2014 Author Posted August 31, 2014 yea i could see you where using the default one ,the blur is unique :)But it puzzles me, something seems to be on very close focus range to your camera. Do you have any first person mods installed that changes the camera somehow?
Aiyen Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Well that photobucket... is a bucket of ... well it wont load up in any decent time frame on my end so I will just rant based on general stuff! Have you tried to simply reduce the blur amount to your liking ? Camera settings from various mods should not affect the DoF since there are no parameters in the shader that rely on them. You got the focus point and a depth reading based on that. Stuff in focus have no blur, and stuff outside of the set focus parameters will be blurred. You can use tcl and tfc and fly around and it will still use the focus point as set in the shader to determine where the effect is applied. rant off! :)
phazer11 Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I think I fixed it (maybe I'll have to lay with it some more) by reinstalling using the external FOMOD installer. It looks better here at least.

phazer11 Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 *playAt any rate I'll have to look at it further since I'm getting 20FPS outdoors for some reason. It was closer to 50FPS (with ENB and Tech's .ini's) before which is reasonable as I'm on a system with a GTX 780 Classified 3GB and a 4770k playing at 1080P
Mangaclub Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 intresting then it sounds like there was a installer error then.20 FPS although is bad with a 780, sounds somehow like memory is leaking. Did you installed the enblocal.ini and overwrote your own optimized one by accident?
TechAngel85 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Ever since I started using ENB, I've been missing some textures on my loading screens. The IgnoreLoadingScreen fix is missing from recent versions of ENBSeries. I added it back in and went through about 12 loading screens (just fast traveled around) and didn't notice any missing textures. It might be worth mentioning that users may need to add that line back in ( IgnoreLoadingScreen=true ) under [FIXES] in the enblocal file if this is happening to them as well.
keithinhanoi Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 The IgnoreLoadingScreen fix parameter was removed back at ENB for Skyrim binary 0.251 (source, and Boris' announcement) and set to be always enabled (and it cannot be disabled.) So if you have 0.251 downloaded after 17 Feb 2014, or anything after that, adding the parameter back to your enblocal.ini will not change anything with regards to how ENB treats loading screens.
TechAngel85 Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Interesting...just out of curiosity I'm going to leave it in to see if I get any issues with textures on the loading screen. They should have appeared within 12 loads because they've been fairly common in my game. If they don't reappear after a time, I'll take it back out of the INI to see if they reappear once that has been done. If they do, Boris hasn't an issue to look into.

Added edge antialiasing for loading screens. Added depth computation for transparent objects to fix depth based artifacts of objects like some hair types, fire and other particles, volumetric fog, mist. Added hack which allow to disable relfection for certain objects, check out HACKS section in description how to use it.Would this not imply that the ENB is, in fact, not ignoring loading screens anymore and the parameter might be needed again?
