DanielCoffey Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 You can actually use the new version without Septim HD I believe? It just makes the Septim Coin Piles look like they are made of Septim HD coins even if you don't use that mod. Here's a copy of the replacement texture for you to see (1024x1024 DTX1 ARGB) : https://www.dcoffey.co.uk/images/misc/SeptimCoinPile.dds
Neovalen Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 That is technically correct, but it doesn't make sense to use it unless you also have Septim HD so they match. :D
onem4nb4nd Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 I'm no pro with game file records (nice disclaimer, right? ::) but I was doing some more conflict resolution in TESVEdit and I'm entirely confused why there are Cell and Worldspace records in this mod. Especially when, the few I perused, look redundant (matching USKP etc.) and possibly just over-writing some of my mods like ELFX.There are actually quite a few mods out there that do this so I assume it's just something I'm ignorant to.Thanks, in advance, for any insight!
Neovalen Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 It's changing the base types of the coin pouches and some chests to contain the appropriate coin type.
onem4nb4nd Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Thanks for the quick reply! Though, I'm still slightly confused because all the edits I've looked through made by this mod are direct copies of unofficial patch records, and apparently nothing more. Is something else happening that I can't see in TESVEdit? Why else does your mod change these records? Maybe to be independent of the Unofficial patches, yet include their changes? If that's the case, then I don't need your edits since I already use all the USPatches, right? The conflicts I'm seeing are all XCLL - lighting and XCIM - Image Space records so I plan on going through and overwriting them with ELFX changes one by one unless I can just get rid of them all together.
Neovalen Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 When you edit an object in a cell it also includes the overall cell record (i.e. Lighting Template, etc.). I've already included the uskp changes for convenience, for ELFX simply load it after my mod and it's good to go. The edits from my mod are the objects in the cells not the cell edits themselves.
onem4nb4nd Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 (edited) Just a heads-up: Wrye Bash combined some things from Dragonborn and SCRR for me. My patch modified Activator records: DLC2GoldPile01 and DLCGoldPile02. I'm not sure if it's compromising in any real way other than the name of the in-game object. It changed a VMAD value, Gold001 "Septim" [MISC:0000000F] to Gold001 "Gold" [MISC:0000000F] and the FULL - name back to Pile of Gold, like vanilla. Edited March 10, 2015 by onem4nb4nd
dreadflopp Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Hi Neo, I mentioned this in the STEP bug report section quite a while ago, but there is (I believe) an inconsistency if you use Skyrim Coin Replacer Redux with Clothing & Clutter fixes. CCF raises the price of silver ingots to 250 from 50. You can make a silver ingot from 75 haralds, which means you'll raise the worth of the haralds if you melt them to an ingot compared to the other coins where you lower the value of the coins if you melt them. Not a big thing maybe and you might not even care about it. I just have a little ocd and thought I should mention it :)
GrantSP Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I'm not up on Tamriel lore so I don't know if this should happen so I'll just ask anyway: after exiting the cave from the tutorial, I turned and went back up the hill to Helgen, just to do some looting. One of the burnt corpses: TreasBurntCorpse04 "Burnt Corpse" [CONT:00042748] had Haralds on them. Shouldn't someone that was living and working in Helgen only minutes ago have Septims on them?Looks to be something to do with the levelled list entry: LootUrnGoldChange [LVLI:0010FCFD], but I know little about how levelled lists work.

Not really the fault of my mod that someone assigned burial urn loot to a recently dead person. That being said, if it's vanilla I could possibly patch it out.
GrantSP Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Not really an issue, just curious. Nothing else changes that container or that levelled list entry as far as I can see, so maybe it is a vanilla thing. I just assumed all haralds would be called septims except in dungeons and crypts and places like those.I am right in thinking haralds are an old coin?
