DarkladyLexy Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 this maybe a stupid question and I can already guess the answer but would BethINI work with an Endreal Setup?
hishutup Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 this maybe a stupid question and I can already guess the answer but would BethINI work with an Endreal Setup?Yes and no. What I would do is take Vanilla inis and change these two line in skyrim.ini sResourceArchiveList = Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa sResourceArchiveList2=EEN - MeshesLOD.bsa, EEN - Meshes.bsa, EEN - Music.bsa, EEN - Scripts.bsa, EEN - SoundFX.bsa, EEN - SoundVoice.bsa, EEN - SoundExtra.bsa, EEN - TexturesLOD.bsa, EEN - Textures1.bsa, EEN - Textures2.bsa, EEN - Textures3.bsa Enderal adds a few "extra" ini edits that are still kind of unknown.
Nebulous112 Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 I got way better FPS in Enderal removing some of their questionable INI settings. Obviously still need the lines Hishy mentioned for the BSAs to load. But some of the other stuff is no good.
DoubleYou Posted August 23, 2016 Author Posted August 23, 2016 I just finally got Enderal, so I will update to include full support soon. Not sure how I want to handle some of their controversial tweaks. Thankfully, most of their added lines have no effect.

I am a little disappointed i can't play as a Khajiit so I guess it will be the elf looking one instead.

azzendix Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 (edited) First, I think ENB mode supposed to be turn OFF AA,AF from Skyrim launcher setting. Correct me if i'm wrong. I just try BethINI 1.0 with ENB option, it missing iMaxAnisotropy=0 command in SkyrimPrefs.ini.(without this line Skyrim will use default value that is iMaxAnisotropy=8)I will comeback to report after I try v1.1. EDIT: Tried v1.1. It still missing this line. Edited August 23, 2016 by azzendix
Nebulous112 Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 AF does not need to be off when using ENB. Personally, I use Tech's recommendation and turn it off in the Skyrim INI settings and the ENB settings and force it in the driver.
DoubleYou Posted August 23, 2016 Author Posted August 23, 2016 You can choose to use either the ENB AF or the game's AF or your driver's AF. That's all the user's choice. Honestly they all seem about the same to me.
azzendix Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 (edited) Thank you both. I understand now that is user's choice. EDIT : I also set Anisotropic Filtering 'None' but still no iMaxAnisotropy=0 in SkyrimPrefs.ini. Is it normal? I do this step by step.0. Set INI path to my MO profile folder1. Click default2. Click High3. Set AF 'None'(already set by BethINI)4. Enable Recommended Tweaks5. Disable Windowed Mode6. Enable ENB Mode(already set by BethINI) Edited August 23, 2016 by azzendix
DoubleYou Posted August 23, 2016 Author Posted August 23, 2016 So you don't get the iMaxAnisotropy=0 when doing that? You certainly should. Are you looking at the correct INI files? Are you merely missing it? I can't think of any way the line could simply not exist after using the tool.
azzendix Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 Test many times and I think BethINI doesn't add iMaxAnisotropy=0 line in SkyrimPrefs.ini because I don't click anything to set it.To make it work, I need to click it and set to 'None' again even BethINI already set it to 'None' Situation 1 : BethINI already set it to 'None' -> Click Set Anisotropic Filtering 'None' again -> iMaxAnisotropy=0 add in SkyrimPrefs.iniSituation 2 : BethINI already set it to 'None' -> Do nothing -> No command in SkyrimPrefs.ini
DoubleYou Posted August 24, 2016 Author Posted August 24, 2016 Is anything else changing? If not, BethINI is unable to edit the file for some reason. Include one of the logs in the BethINI cache folder on paste in and your current INIs.
