  1. Yes, but it could support DX9 as a least requirement and DX11 for recommended.
  2. +1 for Lucidity Sound FX and Jump Sound Fix
  3. It's too early to pick. We haven't even seen AMD's cards yet. To me it's all about perf/price. BTW, when benchmarks start rolling out for the new gen, make sure to check out this guy's channel.
  4. Neo, have you tried the Easy Wheelmenu mod by kesta?
  5. sheson, are you planning any major updates or just bug fixing and mod support from here on?
  6. An essential addition I think https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/21899/?
  7. Yes, but are they using less GPU resources? That's what's important.
  8. Are they really lighter than Win7 or not?
  9. Does Win7 64-bit consume more memory that the 32-bit version? Also, do you think that 340 is enough while steam and avast is running in the background?
  10. @Tech VRAM is 1GB and system RAM is 6GB. Using the instructions on the ENBoost mod page, 3839 is the Total Available Graphics Memory which is closer to what the tool indicates. I guess that I should also use the [Total Available Video Memory] - [170 (for win7) or 350 (for win8/10)] formula even though my system RAM is less that 8GB.
  11. With the formula I get 5120 and with the tool I get 3808. The difference is quite significant and I'm confused on which I should follow.
  12. Boris has released a new tool for ENBoost.
  13. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/67305/? From the description page: "If Darkwater Crossing ever seemed like too many people with nowhere to live were there, you're probably right. It's major enough for Tullius to know about it to set up an ambush for Ulfric, yet there's a single house there where two people live while everyone else sits around a campfire. Not anymore! Three new houses have been added to provide accomodations for the 4 NPCs who had no place to call home." I think this mod should be tested for STEP inclusion.
  14. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/67181/? From the description page: "It has always bothered me to some extent that Kynesgrove gets major attention during the main quest, even with its own guard contingent, yet is nothing more than one inn and a few people in a small camp. Given that it's supposed to be an actual village, it felt like these people needed to at least have proper homes even if they are poor. So this mod aims to correct this problem by providing houses for Ganna & Gemma Uriel, and Roggi Knot-Beard while also adding a new blacksmith to round things out for the village. Now, even though they all still work the mines, they have homes to return to at night." I think this mod should be tested as a candidate for STEP.
  15. If I want to downscale the resolution of a texture without changing anything else, how should DDSopt be configured?
  16. You forgot to change the release date.
  17. Could you be more specific about "vanilla textures not covered by STEP mods" Does this mean every STEP mod that has texture files in it?
  18. Now that the guide uses DynDoLOD, shouldn't SkyFalls and SkyMills be dropped?
  19. Why is SRO being dropped?
