Mod Organizer fails load the right crafting menu
Nebulous112 replied to Mattchion's question in Mod Organizer Support
I checked the SkyUI-Away page, and apparently it is compatible with SkyUI 5.1. And Mattchion is right on the mark when he mentions that you can only disable a specific menu if you want by hiding the other files...it says so right on the Nexus page. So yeah, I have no idea why it is not working for you. I've never used SkyUI-Away, so I'm not really familiar with it. Maybe Grant or Greg or someone else smarter than I might have a clue. -
Mod Organizer fails load the right crafting menu
Nebulous112 replied to Mattchion's question in Mod Organizer Support
Check in the archives tab if you have MO managing archives. If not, turn it on. I noticed that when archive management is off, MO didn't show some conflicts. Shot in the dark, but it might do the trick. Dunno. Edit: More info. Edit 2: Nevermind, if you're hiding files then it's not a BSA. Not sure on this, hopefully someone with more knowledge than I will pop by. Only other thing I can think is have you tried to not hide any of the SkyUI-Away files? I.E. use the whole mod? Does that work at all? -
ENB Graphics Enabled Can't load ANY save file

I'm glad you were able to figure out the issue with your game, Michael! :-) No way I would have figured that out in your place, lol. -

Yep, use DynDOLOD for the same effect with more stability. -
SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn
Nebulous112 replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Maybe sirjesto might be willing to help. He is an xEdit patching master, and he is heavily involved with the Legacy mod page (support staff). I know he runs a huge modlist with Legacy. He's also a pretty nice guy from the little I have dealt with him. :-) Couldn't hurt to ask. -
FYI, now Kinaga is stating clearly that cleaning the ITM will not cause an issue. See here. Although, there is a big issue with sorting the masters. Too long to quote everything, but basically it will break the mod. See here. Edit: More info, messing about with the quote system that didn't want to work.

If anyone's interested, I just saw this on Reddit. Chesko is about to stream development of a mod to make the mouse scroll wheel change between weapons. He figures it will take maybe an hour, start to finish. See this Reddit thread, he hasn't posted the link to the stream yet. Should be just a few minutes. https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/4sulul/livestreaming_scroll_wheel_unlocked_development/ Edit: Started, stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/chesko256 Edit 2: All done live streaming now. It was pretty fascinating, IMO. I think Chesko said he would put it up on YouTube later. Edit 3: Chesko forgot to set the archive option on Twitch, so unfortunately the video is gone if you missed it. :-(

Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - DynDOLOD 2.00 to 2.15
Nebulous112 replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Not sure, but Process Lasso might be useful in this situation as well. I'm not sure specifically with DynDOLOD, but I find it generally helps with CPU task automation. It also boosted my Skyrim FPS by a minor amount. Have you heard of this program or tried it yourself, Sheson? -
STEP v2.2.9.2 Official Bug Reports
Nebulous112 replied to TechAngel85's topic in Step Skyrim LE Guide
@Z I do like your original suggestion of putting this instruction in the MO mod page, though. As often as we tell people to read the full MO guide (and despite the link on the MO mod page), I doubt more than 50% actually do. As Joat_Mon points out, it can also be reassuring to see some explicit instructions when you are a newbie. Perhaps adding something like this to the MO mod page would be sufficient (inserted before MO Guide link)? Edit: Wording, typos -

It is in the Conflict Resolution subsection (and in the premade CR patch). -
Memory Block 1 won't breach 250
Nebulous112 replied to Patch_'s question in General Skyrim LE Support
Well, it's not your skse.ini. You can tell from the Memory Blocks log at the top where it says 768 that it is working (it always shows 256 less). Try putting that back down to 768 (so it will show 512)...not the cause of your crash, but you are needlessly wasting memory. Everything you put there cannot be used for anything else. I assume you are on Windows 8 or 10? Change enblocal.ini video memory size to 4064. Also increase your reserved memory size to 128. For your ini files...try running spINI. -

+1 for as many supported mods as possible. This guide sounds like it'll be great, and I'm hoping for all the museum displays being available if you can swing it, Darth. :-) -
FYI, Immersive Horses has been updated to v2.0. Some neat changes. From the changelog:
-
Yep, it will be DX11 so this bug will not be relevant for the Special Edition. As long as you own the base game and all DLC by October 28th it will be free in a separate listing in Steam (so it won't affect current games). SKSE and ENB binaries will need reworking, and mods will need to be saved in the new CK to work. So don't expect all mods to work right away. There are a few threads kicking around with a bunch of info...I think maybe in the Games or Banter Inn forums.

STEP v2.2.9.2 Official Bug Reports
Nebulous112 replied to TechAngel85's topic in Step Skyrim LE Guide
Nothing has been changed yet. You can always check recent changes to STEP wikis from this link. You can check individual wiki page history from the Page Tools menu if you log into the wiki with your STEP account. HD Ore and Ingots has never had this instruction, IIRC, because when installing with MO (and not choosing manual), no additional steps are needed. That being said, there are one or two pages that would need to retain special instructions, like Vivid Landscapes - Tundra Moss Revised (we use the High Poly Mesh option in the optional file, not the normal Data folder), but I think Z's idea makes sense. It is a pretty basic (and common) thing when using MO, and all users should learn how to do this. Edit: I think Z is referring to this page, DY. -
No, Microsoft still hasn't fixed the bug. It is doubtful they ever will, IMO. Unless you are running with a ton of 4K textures, the 4064 cap really shouldn't affect you too much.

Minor typo with MUS - should be "Morrowloot Ultimate Simplified".
-
Actually, it's Nebulous, or Neb. Jarl is just the forum title based on post count. :-) And yeah, the extra steps are around the mod merges. As well, some mods from SR:LE Extended take the place of the SR:LE mods. SR:LE Extended guide is pretty good though, it should be easy to follow along with the steps. Good luck!
-
Actually Darth and Lexy do the SR:LE Extended guide. I think Neo was just pointing you in the right direction. :-) I think Darth and Lexy recommend that you make sure SR:LE is working first because if there are any issues, it will be way easier to troubleshoot. Then copy the profile in MO to a new profile (SRLE Extended), and install that guide. There are a few extra unneeded steps by doing it this way, but that is how the guide is written, and it will be a heck of a lot easier to troubleshoot if there is an error. Also, I expect it would be more difficult (and increase the possibility of a mistake) if you were constantly going back and forth between the two guides when installing. Just my thoughts. :-)
