Yes, all parts of the Book of Silence are part of Core. -
ACCEPTED Enhanced Blood Textures (by dDefinder1)
Nebulous112 replied to EssArrBee's topic in Fallout 4 Mods
Are you talking about the Fallout 4 mod? Edit: I see you were asking about BoS in another thread, so I will assume this is regarding the Skyrim version. The thread for Enhanced Blood Textures for Skyrim is here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/383-enhanced-blood-textures-by-ddefinder/ However, to answer your question, all options on the STEP wiki page for it should be available. Double check you downloaded and installed the right file.- 2 replies

SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn
Nebulous112 replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
There are a ton of mods integrated in Legacy, but there are also a bunch that are "supported". The supported mods all add items you can display in the museum from what I understand. Otherwise you may be missing a lot of the museum content. Not 100%, as I never got around to trying to integrate Legacy in my load order, but something to take a look at, Darth. -
Yes, if following SR:LE all mod BSAs need to be extracted.

SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn
Nebulous112 replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
@sirjesto Hey, good to see you around here. :-) FYI, SR:LE already uses that (or recommends to optimize the vanilla textures yourself with DDSopt). Also, unrelated to this, but STEP also has its own set of optimized textures. So if you are ever helping a STEP or SR:LE person on the LotD page, they should already have optimized vanilla textures (assuming they followed the guide right). -
SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn
Nebulous112 replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Very nice! Should be right in time for LotD v15.4! I'll take a look at the list and give my input. I definitely will want to try this guide. :-) -
Did you install STEP Core (only the mods in the list with the green bar on the left side)? Or STEP Extended (pretty much all the mods on the list, except a couple that it's mentioned not to install because they are already part of another Extended mod)? Extended includes Core, plus more. Core is a smaller set of mods, and a smaller associated patch. Edit: Just to be clear, only install one version of the patch. This is why the FOMOD is better, because it avoids any problems with manual install. But if the FOMOD is broken, then that isn't possible until we get a chance to fix it. Also, one thing to double check is that you have the internal installer turned on (set to true). You can check this in the MO settings, in the Plugins tab.
-
I just double-checked, and I believe something is wrong with the FOMOD installer. I checked the patches, and they are correct regarding the masters in the list. For now, install the STEP Compilation without the patch. Select no for the combined plugin. Then choose the compilation as per whether you installed Core or Extended. Then exit MO, and go to Windows File Explorer. Go to wherever your Mod Organizer downloads are kept - by default [...]\Mod Organizer\downloads". Find the STEP Compilation and copy it somewhere else on your computer. Then extract it. Inside, you will see a bunch of folders with options for the STEP Patches. Core or Extended, as well as options for each if you do not install ELE or do not install ICAIO. Highlight the folder with the plugin appropriate for your install, and create an archive out of it. With 7Zip, I just right-click, and choose the 7-zip option, and "Add to '<folder name>'.7z". Once you have made it an archive, you can install it in MO. Go in MO, click the top-left button that looks like a folder with a CD in front of it and go to your archive you just made that includes the patch. Install it. Now you have the compilation, and the patch. After you install the patch, check the plugin listing for it in MO's right pane, and make sure there are no flags. If there is a red yield symbol, that means that you are missing a master after all.
-
Well yeah, you can. The thing is that if you are ineligible for the patch then you will be missing a master for the patch and crash on game start. Every time we have ever ran into someone with this issue, they missed a mod and didn't realize it. The list is supposed to be updated with all the masters, but it is possible it is not. Like I said, I can double check the patch masters when I get home. Just not much I can do from my location, lol.
-
Yes, all the DLC should be unmanaged. Is Dragonborn listed as unmanaged as well? One possibility is that the patches have a master that hasn't been added to the list yet. I will double check when I get home.
-
Hi siltsunrise, welcome to STEP! This message can happen when you are missing one of the plugins that the STEP patch has as a master. Please verify you have all the mods installed listed in the OP of this thread: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/9370-step-compilation/

Skyrim Revisited: Legendary Edition News
Nebulous112 replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Rustic Clothing now has a file for the Hearthfire children's clothing as well. Gamwich also mentioned in the comments that all the DLC files will be separate downloads on the same Rustic Clothing Nexus page. -
When you click the INI Path part there should be a listing with your MO Profile.

An update on the status - the mod is currently up to 81% of all vanilla Skyrim sounds remastered. This does not include the DLC, however FoggyPath has stated that he plans to work on the DLC sounds when the main Skyrim sounds are done. If accepted, the main concern with this mod will be what else to drop in the sounds section (if anything), and where to place it in relation to override priority with the sound mods we do keep. Testing it in relation to the other mods will be a pain, but worse case scenario we can always just let everything else override it. Anyway, I have continued to play with this in my personal setup since I posted about it earlier. I absolutely love it. I still haven't gotten around to testing it vs. AOS or any of the other sound mods in STEP, but I have heard enough to vote. I vote Core for this one.

SKYRIMLE Invisibility Eye Glitch Multifix (by jimkaiseriv)
Nebulous112 replied to Nebulous112's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
As there are some compatibility issues, I have dropped the unofficial testing tag from this mod. This mod was never in official testing. Italicized and underlined section (formatting mine) is of particular mention. -

I also like the lighter mortar from the image. I think it would fit in a bit better in the area. -
Disparity Slow Attack Speed

I like the vanilla start. Proper introductions to characters, and it's kind of a cool scene. Not to say that I haven't skipped it...there are only so many times you can play the same thing. :-P But I do like doing the vanilla start every once in a while. -
Yeah, bringing up different mods in a mod topic isn't really the right way to go about it. Individual mod topics should be discussions about the mod in question vs. what is currently in STEP (whether that is a current mod / mods or vanilla). It is also appropriate to discuss other mods currently in official testing if they serve the same function as the mod in the forum topic. If you have a different mod to recommend, please post in the thread for it, or create a new thread. It would be more visibility for your recommendation anyway. ;-)

I have also been using this one, and the detailing is great. We can also definitely get away with a higher resolution than 1k on this. 2k-1k or 2k for sure. I vote Core.

ACCEPTED RUSTIC SOULGEMS (by Gamwich and Saerileth)
Nebulous112 replied to Octopuss's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Since I posted I have been using this in my setup. I think it looks phenomenal in-game. I vote for Core as well. -
It is suggested to use the original MO for Skyrim. MO2 is still in Beta, and you may run into some issues with the STEP install if you use MO2.

Guys, without the mod author's permission we can't share links to uploaded versions of mods. Consider this a verbal warning. Please be patient, I'm sure Enai will be done updating soon. ;-)

Best way is to search the last set of alphanumeric characters (the last FormID) that Neo references in the conflict in the search bar for it. Should take you right to it. -
Could Windows 10 be an Issue?
Nebulous112 replied to RoboticWater's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
a) Possible, but likely not. You would likely need a lot of 4k textures to have an issue with the 4064 MB cap. Although, with a mod list that large, who knows. b) This is the best troubleshooting guide I have seen. The method of last resort (bisecting) always works. c) Have you created a custom conflict resolution patch in xEdit for all of the extra mods outside of Neo's and Darth / Lexy's guides? I bet it is mod conflict. -

I'm hoping DFD was hidden because the author is updating and was just being flippant, or is releasing the "new and improved" version he was mentioning he was working on on the DFD page. I'm probably being naive, but I can hope, right? :-/
