  1. It is well done, I used it when it first came out. It's not as good as the original soundtrack, but after a few hundred hours of playing its a nice change. Edit: NM haven't tried this one, I mistook it for nordic ambient. Â Anyway comment is still probably right, after a few hundred hours might be nice change.
  2. [video=youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKWjC3Qyp5M&feature=player_detailpage Realistic reflection!
  3. Great, I was hoping he would do this.
  4. Well it was a half off sale, the other two games were 50% off, and if you bought the full skyrim set it was 50% off, individually not so much. Anyway I can use them for testing now, they are a complete mess as far as using them for gaming purposes though :P
  5. Boris is working on improving reflectivity and SSAO.
  6. Nice concept, I'll check it out. Edit: Gorgeous work, by Isoku no less, fasttracked to STEP 2.21
  7. Well hearthfire wasn't on sale just the rest of the stuff, i think it was about $18 just those.
  8. Yeah, I used the 2 hour half off sale to buy hearthfire and dawnguard, all up to date now :D Also picked up the Deluxe GOTY edition of Oblivion and GOTY Morrowind. I already had the original versions but I never bought the dlcs or goty editions. Now I got it all.
  9. Even the paper textures? I thought those should be omitted from being optimised by DDSopt. Same for Vurt's branches. Those aren't vanilla textures, those are mods :PÂ Vanilla = Textures.bsa and the HR DLC bsa's
  10. Phinix Natural ENBÂ My new favorite ENB, he's rewritten so much of the code for how different lighting and shading works its awesome. Wiki link
  11. I know, I been watching this one with some anticipation. I do hope vader and Leviathan can overcome the engine limitations and really make this work :D Also it only affects female human and elvish races.  Males, khajiit, Argonians, and children are not accounted for.  The 0.9 version number is premature imo in regards to all that is still missing. In addition you have to start a new game for this to work and many npc, race, or beauty mods will cause the black face bug. When all this is fixed I'll be jumping up and down for joy   but I don't think it will be any time soon if ever.  Still, a little variation is better than nothing.
  12. This mod will hit your fps like a truck if you use it on the highest settings, however it is easily the best solution around to the pop in problem some people are noticing. You just need a very good videocard to be able to run it. And to Judgment jays point of compatibility with TPC you could just use the SRO option for the highest out of box compatibility, but it would need to be repacked with TPC to get it perfect (and even then I rather doubt that you could do better than the pure SRO option anyway).
  13. we'll make it mandatory when it hits version 1.0, till then its still beta, we may however advise it be well tested by the step community :D
  14. It won't be the only mod to conflict, all of the gameplay packs will conflict with the overhauls. Â That's why they are optional.
  15. Crafting 300 - Armoury of Tamriel version 2.0 WIP Its always been a good mod, but the team working on it now for a 2.0 release is stellar. I'd like to see the graphics evaluated for inclusion in TPC. The full mod itself is a fabulous concept for smithing and starts from a very lore friendly and realistic base, definitely a candidate to be thoroughly examined for a gameplay pack.
  16. Yeah, he does quality work, the trick is picking out the best stuff that can actually incorporate well into the TPC. He tends to make the graphics a bit too clean and crisp making the overall appearance look more "new" than it should.
  17. Displayport can easily handle the bandwith but I don't know if any are available yet, I just started researching this stuff. As far as disagreement I don't see it like that at all, its a healthy conversation. Each of us supplying complementary opinions and facts. I find it incredibly boring and nonproductive to have a conversation with someone who agrees with everything I say, this is much better. :D
  18. They already have 2560x1440@120 available for purchase today for under $500 (you do have to overclock the monitors yourself though) so I don't see a very big jump. They won't be hitting European or American markets any time soon for sure, only direct order from Korea (there are of course a number of ebay sellers already in action as well as other websites taking care of import for you for extra fee). I'd imagine next year this time the official global release. Anyway the future is never certain that's why I said "hopefully". Anyone wanting to check out the currently available stuff can google catleap and go from there. Â Note that dealing with international shipping (use fedex the extra cost is worth it for peace of mind) and overclocking (maybe it only goes to 90Hz) are "gambles", buyer beware.
  19. The only other explanation if it happens on a new game is that you have bad loose scripts still installed. Delete your Data/scripts directory and try again. (Note that you will have to reinstall the CK, SKSE, and any mods that have loose scripts, do those 1 at a time and test to find the culprit). Edit: btw remember that pets and conjured creatures count as followers.
  20. It's my own fix after looking at the cause of the problem. You can find references to various issues on the various USKP threads, I just analyzed them and found the likely root cause. It could also be navmesh issues reintroduced by older mods but that seems less likely. If it fixes issues for people here I'll pass it on to Arthmoor. People seem to have terrible habits in regards to creating clean saves, and even worse with upgrading, installing, and uninstalling mods.
  21. Proper installation of 1.21 if you have ever used a followers, pet, or conjuration mod that is still in your savegame With USKP 1.2 loaded (use 1.21 if you have been silly and deleted 1.2) Dismiss all followers, pets, and conjured critters Save and exit Deactivate all mods that affect followers Sleep 31 days and save Install USKP 1.21 and any follower mods Sleep 31 days and save Play
  22. Texture mods are quite different from gameplay plugins like this. The general rule is no texture mods released before Feb 8 (because many became obselete after the HR DLC) and no gameplay mods released before June 19 (the last major update of the CK). As you have noticed there are of course exceptions, for instance if a texture is not included in the DLC than release date doesn't really matter at all, and on the plugin side if you open a plugin with the CK, rename something innocuous and save, then rename it back and save again the mod will be fully updated by the CK to the latest format (this may or may not work properly for mods made with 3rd party tools). On the ENB side if you are running without it you are missing out on some incredible bugfixes, optimizations, and additions to the rendering engine. No gameplay plugin can do this. Also unless your monitor is running at 120Hz, running at over 59fps is completely pointless as your card is updating screens faster than your monitor can even render them, and can in fact cause a number of nasty artifacts (that's why we recommend using an fps limiter to play at 58fps max). Hopefully in a few months you'll be able to buy monitors with the new LG IPS panels running at 2560x1600 @120Hz and that will be a game changer, making 4GB cards useful for all games and higher than 60fps settings finally playable.
  23. check the GEMS list, its a good place to start looking for stuff like this.
  24. It's already in 2.21
  25. There is something that you are either doing or skipping without thinking about it that is causing all your problems. I have no way to help you troubleshoot at this point. You need to go step by step and make sure each program is working perfectly on its own. Â Then edit the settings to make them work together, one at a time and test before moving on to the next.
