  1. I would advise to use CoT as is without any uninstall. CoT is being updated for Dawnguard so just play your first playthrough as a Dawnguard (which avoids the bug iirc) and wait for the update to play as a vampire.
  2. I think Farlo is the only one that actually owns Dawnguard and he hasn't played it yet, so can't help with specifics and please don't keep mentioning stuff without spoilers.
  3. It breaks a key part of the plotlilne that obviously noone wants to give away. Mystery solved. Other than that it works fine with dawnguard :P
  4. Here is the ini that bash is seeing sOblivionMods=..\Skyrim Mods sOblivionMods=C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Mods sBashModData=..\Skyrim Mods\Bash Mod Data sInstallersData=..\Skyrim Mods\Bash Installers\Bash bResetBSATimestamps=false bSkipResetTimeNotifications=True the rest are literally just comments (explanations and examples) in fact just delete the entire ini and just use those 5 settings (after you figure out which version of sOblivionMods you want to use, you can only have one), because the comments seem to confuse you instead of help.
  5. A month isn't really very long at all. 6 months without a login is my bar for assuming a mod is abandoned.
  6. Just uncomment the 5 or so lines that SIG tells you to change, that's it.
  7. New release, beta 1.0 with mod cleaning updated download link in OP
  8. The entire ini comes completely commented out, you need to remove the ; in front of any line that you actually want bash to read. That's a new feature of 300 that is undocumented and I haven't updated SIG to accomadate yet, because it is just a temporary fix I don't like.
  9. It's a bug in the ENB SSAO.
  10. Lojack teaching a master class concerning bashed patching on the beth forums
  11. Yeah steam can be like that, just uninstall and reinstall both steam and skyrim. Better yet follow the SIG from start to finish.
  12. Well I don't know what you'd call it but they are certainly neither inspired by reality nor TES lore. To fill those requirements I'm interested in a unique lore friendly body type for each race and infinite unique variants on that base racial type for NPC's. Anything less doesn't work for me. Â Even a well done model is still dependent on the armor and clothes packs, those are completely female anime biased. Its a moot argument for STEP anyway as we don't include NSFW material. Â I expect that someone will make a nice AV version of body models eventually and thats what I will personally use.
  13. There are some issues with the first release, not recommended at the moment. I have spoken with the author and 1.1 will be out in a few days, I am looking to add that to 2.21
  14. I'm not sure why you think you don't need uac, you have another better security system running? There is really nothing to moving it, you can just literally cut and past the steam directory wherever you want then reinstall steam overtop where you just moved it too and validate skyrim if you want to go the manual way.
  15. I assume you are using all the lowest res textures from STEP and any additional mods, if not that is your first order of business. If you are already doing that than you are probably installing something buggy are are missing some small instructions in the guide, ctd's are not normal. My computer is even worse than yours (I have 8 yr old amd cpu and same mem and gpu) and I run Skyrim just fine with all of STEP installed with low res.
  16. I do hate when people create new topics for stuff that already exists, so much stuff gets lost that way. Here is the link
  17. Well you must remember that NMM supports 16 or so different games, optimization went out the window long ago, while MO has just gotten better and better. Â Check the Wrye bash thread for your answers, I just covered this. Â Also read the MO guide on the wiki in case you missed it.
  18. Completely rewritten from scratch without all the buggy CEL edits. Â Deserves a second look.
  19. That is the plan, no eta on a release though. They are dealing with legal and technical issues still.
  20. Use the amidianborn armors. As for gameplay mods we are working on a list for the next release. The current set of body mods all are anime based, waiting for something lore friendly to come out.
  21. Yes, you need to follow the Skyrim Installation Guide replacing the examples with your own directory structure. Â Also make sure to set the other listed parameters for proper functionality.
  22. Use a better DOF, try the one from SkyRealism - ENB Evolved.
  23. The Installation tab of WB is extremely stable, which is what you'll be using so no worries there, highly recommended. The more advanced features aren't really implemented yet, and the mods tab can be a little buggy as far as strange display bugs, but just close and open again and its all fixed.
  24. Wow, somebody finally did elves right. Â No gameplay stuff, no anime. I am stunned. Â Downloading.
  25. Its not likely, but you can try using the method I outlined above. It'll take you a few hours to do, I don't know how attached you are to that character, but if you put in 150 hours another few to try and save it isn't crazy :P
