  1. You need to install the 32-bit version of the Java run-time environment for Mod Organizer.
  2. The first step is to verify that you aren't missing any masters. If I remember correctly, I think Mod Organizer flags any plugins in the right pane that are missing masters so they should be relatively easy to spot. The next step is to verify ENBoost and SKSE are installed and configured properly.
  3. This does violate the rules and is a violation of copyright and the rights of the mod author.
  4. @xenbirth I removed your username and password from the ini you posted, but I suggest changing your Nexus password as soon as possible.
  5. In this day and age I think it's more like space aliens with an attitude since they all have surgically implanted communication devices. Congrats on the baby on the way.
  6. Possibly like this, but I was think more along the lines of third-party applications that add overlays into the game like TeamSpeak, Radeon Pro, etc.
  7. Interesting... Do you perhaps have some overlay installed that might be conflicting with SkyUI?
  8. I suggest going over the ENBoost guide and SKSE guide to make sure ENBoost and SKSE are installed and configured correctly first. It sounds as SKSE is basically working since you can use the SkyUI menus. Also make sure you are using SKSE 1.7.3 and SkyUI 5.1.
  9. If you installed everything in the same order as in the STEP 2.2.9.2 guide, you can ignore this warning. Keep the mods in the left pane in order shown in the guide and let LOOT sort the mods in the right pane. If I remember correctly, the issue here is that Clothing and Clutter Fixes and Weapon and Armor Fixes Remade use scripts with the same name and Mod Organizer assumes you should use the scripts from Clothing and Clutter Fixes. This isn't an issue in this case so just ignore the warning. If you applied all the LOOT rules in section 2.0 and don't have any extraneous custom rules in LOOT, LOOT should sort everything correctly. I just double checked and I have SkyUI at priority 24 and Trade and Barter at priority 66 and Trade and Barter is working fine.
  10. You can delete the files in the Downloads folder, although it may be more convenient to move them to another drive so you don't have to download them again. In fact, you can move Mod Organizer's download folder to another drive fairly easily. Just make a new folder on another drive, move everything in the ModOrganizer/Downloads folder to the new location, click the Settings icon (wrench and screwdriver), check Advanced in the General tab, and then select the new folder you created earlier in the Download Directory box.
  11. You should post this in the main DynDOLOD topic.
  12. Is your ENB preset compatible with Enhanced Lights and Effects or is a patch required? The "without" screenshot looks about right for ELFX, but the first screenshot with Dahaka has the lights too bright and the darks too dark. EDIT: The only ENB preset named Dahaka's I could find is on github. This one requires Climates of Tamriel and notes that ELFX must be loaded after COT and Dahaka's COT patch like this: Skyrim.esmUpdate.esmDawnguard.esmDragonborn.esmClimatesOfTamriel.esmClimatesOfTamriel-Dawnguard-Patch.espClimatesOfTamriel-Dragonborn-Patch.espDAHAKA's COT Plugin.espEnhancedLightsandFX.esp
  13. Sounds like this may be a corruption issue with the system drive. Have you run chkdsk /f (or chkdsk /r to check for bad blocks) on this system drive and then run sfc /scannow when booted in safe mode? Unfortunately if sfc /scannow continues aborting, about all you can really do is go spelunking through /windows/logs/cbs/cbs.log after it aborts to chase down each error manually. Definitely not a task for the faint of heart.
  14. I just looked at this again and I think you're right, but I see four distinct map types. The map on Delphine's desk does look similar to the map with the pins, but the colors are a different. If you go into Dragonreach, you'll see a third map type in in the Mage's quarters that's a lot larger and whiter. Finally, there's a fourth map type right next to the map with pins that doesn't have any lettering. I think this just goes back to what you were saying originally, Shadriss. We just don't pay much attention to the maps in Skyrim. Delphine's Desk in Sleeping Giant Inn War Map Map in Mage's Quarters Small Map next to War Map
  15. The way I get landscape screenshots (and I'm nowhere near a screenshot expert) is to walk around until you find a good place for a screenshot. Save from the menu (and Shift+F12 to turn off ENB effects if you're using an ENB), take the screenshot. Keep moving around and saving before you take the next screenshot. Exit the game when you're finished, switch to the new mod you want to compare, and run Skyrim again. Now you just need to load the first save, screenshot, load the next save, screenshot, repeat.
  16. I generally stay away from software that has those annoying popups because they tend to get in the way when they are least wanted. A small notification in the tray or a dialog on application start is good enough. Having said this, popping up a dialog when I start an application to get some work done isn't quite the right time to tell me I need to update. I think Paint.NET handles this right... "An update is available. Do you want to install this update when you exit the application?" Quick, easy, and it waits for me to finish what I'm doing.
  17. I think Delphine has a map on her desk in the basement of the Sleeping Giant Inn. This one kinda stands out because she pokes her finger in the general vicinity of Kynesgrove when mentioning the next dragon coming to life.
  18. Moved to Mator's Utilities Support.
  19. In the right pane in Mod Organizer, click the Archives tab and make sure all the BSAs are checked.
  20. The Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini files used by the game are in ModOrganizer/profiles/[profile name] folder.
  21. I think you're referring to HQ Snow Texture that's currently in STEP. The screenshots I've looked at so far do seem to be better than any of the other snow textures I've seen so far, so I just tossed this one into my load order so I can compare it with HQ Snow Texture when I find time.
  22. If you're adding these mods on top of STEP, you should install and enable Memory Blocks Log to determine if you need to increase DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB in skse.ini. STEP recommends DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 so you get 512 in the first block and 256 in the second block and this works great for a STEP Core or STEP Extended setup using the baseline mesh and text resolutions recommended in the guide. Using higher resolution meshes or texture, adding additional NPCs to the game (e.g. Interesting NPCs), adding more body mods to the game, etc. increase the demand for memory in the first block so you may need to increase this to DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=1024 (768 in the first block, 256 in the second block) or DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=1280 (1024 in the first block, 256 in the second block). The best way to find out is to use Memory Blocks Log to reproduce the crash to see where you stand with the first block at the time of the crash.
  23. After you have a fully installed and stable STEP setup working in Mod Organizer, click Configure Profiles, select your working STEP Profile, and click Copy. Name this new profile whatever you want and install any additional mods on top of STEP in this new profile. This way if you need to revert for any reason, all you need to do is delete the current profile and copy your working STEP profile to a new profile.
  24. In the future, please use spoiler tags when posting long lines of text like ini files. The fMouseHeadingXScale and fMouseHeadingYScale settings don't look quite right to me. fMouseHeadingXScale should be 0.0199999996 (or 0.02) and fMouseHeadingYScale should be 0.8500000238 (or 0.85). You have fMouseHeadingYScale at 0.02 so the vertical movement is extremely sluggish.
  25. I think it makes more sense to split this into two instructions: Download and install the Staff of Magnus Hotfix into aMidianBorn Book of Silence - Unique ItemsDownload and install the Content AddonThe final step depends on how you installed all the aMidianBorn mods. You can install all of the aMidianBorn Book of Silence mods as multiple mods, or you can merge them into a single mod named aMidianBorn Book of Silence. If you merge them into a single mod, the the optional ESP will be in the aMidianBorn Book of Silence mod. If you install them as separate mods, the optional ESP is in the aMidianBorn Book of Silence Weapons mod. I usually install these as separate mods just because it's easier to reinstall and update, but either way works fine.
