Well, it makes pretty much all unique NPCs immortal (unless the players chooses to slay them), so it's not very immersive. People live, people die, that's the way of life. Immersive Citizens already overhauls the NPCs behaviour, so people are less likely to die as they should flee from battle when the attacker is too powerful. Maybe it's worth considering if you use mods that make the game a lot harder like Sands of Time, Revenge of the Enemies, etc. But for Step Core I don't see the need for such a mod.

Here are a few. These are all TES modding sites that I'm aware of. (left aside Lovers Lab) AFK Mods Dark Creations TES Alliance The Assimilation Lab I don't know if they have any restrictions in regards to file size though.- 425 replies

There are a few conflicts. But Lucidity covers way more files than AOS. -

Have you noticed that jump sound bug in your game though? Because USLEEP is supposed to fix that already. -
[WIP] Boston Atomic Bomb Yankee - BABY (Fallout 4)
TirigonX replied to Kesta's topic in Unofficial Fallout 4 Guides
At point 3 I had every texture mod disabled except Equipment and Item mods and still got ILS. Did some testing with ba2 files 1. packed Optimzed Textures as ba2 and registered it in fallout4.ini (all texture replacers disabled): no ILS 2. enabled FAR in MO: ILS 3. disabled FAR in MO, packed FAR as ba2 and registered in ini file : no ILS 4. enabled all Equipment texture mods in MO (Proto Vault Suit etc.): ILS So it seems to be related to loose files for me. Maybe I could use all mods if I pack them into ba2 files but I think I'll use beta 1 for now and hope it gets fixed in a future version. -
[WIP] Boston Atomic Bomb Yankee - BABY (Fallout 4)

Reinstalled beta 2. Deactivating mods helps, but it really need to be a lot of mods. 1. disabled Optimized Vanilla Textures and all mods from the categories that start with "Textures" - no ILS 2. re-enabled only Optimized Vanilla Textures - ILS 3. disabled Optimized Vanilla Textures again and enabled categories Textures Equipment and Items - ILS So basically I'd have to play without texture replacers, including the one that actually reduces texture sizes. edit: and I don't use any external stuff apart from f4se and Shadow Boost. No Reshade and no enb. -

Has anyone used the latest MO2 beta and noticed infinite loading screens? After updating to Beta2 loading times on entering/leaving buildings went on forever. Alt-tabbing out of the game and going back in ended the loading screen immediately. Just rolled back to beta 1 and the problem is gone. -

I'm using the guide and yes it's still usable. A few mods have been updated since Kesta's last edit, but all the install instructions are still valid. -
DROPPED Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul (by Shurah)
TirigonX replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
New version 0.3 is out. There is an option to install a lite version of the mod which only contains the features Survival Instinct, Combat Style & Go Home. This version is supposed be compatible with everything so it is interesting for those who want to use mods like ETAC or Holds. -

Hmm, I see. Maybe I'll try a mod that just removes interior fog alongside Fr4nsson's mod. It's mainly the fog that I want to get rid off. enb is not an option for me due to performance hit. I'm playing on medium to high graphics options and Shadow Boost to stay between 50 and 60 fps -

Does anyone know if XPRI and XCRI conflicts need to be taken care of? These seem to be new in FO4 and are in Cell and Worldspace records. I would like to use this mod: Interiors Enhanced - Darker Ambient Light and Fog instead of Fr4nssons Light Tweaks. But there are a couple of conflicts with the unofficial patch and I don't know how to to deal with them. -
SRLE Extended Mod Suggestions
TirigonX replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Nice list, I'm already using most of these. Ducks and Swans are too static imho, in game they look more like plastic toys than real animals. -
You have to write spoiler, not spoilers There's a link to Darth's load order in his signature.

SRLE Extended Mod Suggestions

@ redirishlord For Ghosus's Horker Weapon Pack check out this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68462/? It makes the mod consistent with WAFR, CCOR and CACO. The esp file replaces the original one. -
I'm sceptical about that crash fix mod. Wouldn't you risk to get corrupt save files over time? If the game crashes there's obviously something going wrong. If you just ignore errors and keep playing, these errors are still present and who knows what happens if these errors stack. Shutting down and restarting is sometimes the better idea imo. The Better Stealing mod looks interesting. It fixes something that has annoyed me since Morrowind.

Question to those who use Vigor, CACO and the patch from More CACO patches: What's your position on having to invest 2 perk points in alchemy to be able to craft poultices? These are required to heal trauma effects. Vendors can have them for sale, but it seems with Scarcity there's also a good chance that they don't. Having a trauma is (especially early in the game) pretty nasty as it reduces armor rating and stamina regenearation and thus makes fights even more dangerous. If you use just Vigor you can make the poultices right from the start once you have the required ingredients (which are easy to find). On the one hand this patch provides a strong incentive to get these perks on the other hand it makes the early game a lot harder so I'm a bit torn on this. I'm really liking Vigor though and I think it works great as a standalone combat overhaul. I'm not using Combat Enhanced, Duel or any other combat mod.

Yeah, that happens if you use the SMIM-ELFX performance patch with RRR and RRR-ELFX patch. I fixed it by deleting the entire Bee and Barb cell record from the performance patch. Open the plugin in Tes5Edit and go to Cell\Block 1\Sub-Block 5, right-click RiftenBeeandBarb and select Remove

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
TirigonX replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Just listened to the wav file and yes it is really horrible. Maybe the file got corrupted somehow? Hard to believe that this is intentional. -
I don't think this lag can be tracked down to a single mod. I guess it's comparable to the string count issue. It's the big amount of mods of SRLE Extended that's hitting some kind of limit. Although it would be nice to know what exactly is going on and why it's happening when the perk menu is opened.

GUIDE Mythic Dawn: Gateway to Oblivion WIP
TirigonX replied to hishutup's topic in Oblivion - Mythic Dawn
As far as I know BC is still maintained by Vorians (aka "display name is already in use" on the official Bethesda forums). So it might be a good idea to bring this issue to his attention either on Nexus or the Bethesda forums. After reading through the Oblivion threads here on STEP it seems that you have more knowledge than most of us. So if you don't know how to solve this issue I kinda doubt anyone else does. (I have a working modded Oblivion, but the performance hit that comes with BC is too much for me. I'm only using the Better Imperial City districts) -

5F MTC-WeyePatch.esp 6E Rumare-AFK_Weye Patch.esp [Version 2.2] 70 AFKWeye_MTC_RRLRumarePatch.esp Shouldn't the third file remove the need for the first two files? I don't know for sure though as I don't have experience with Afk Weye and Lake Rumare. 8E MTCExpandedVillages-AncientRedwoods patch.esp [Version 1.0] A0 MTCExpandedVillages-Snowdale patch.esp [Version 1.0] A1 MTCExpandedVillages-UniqueLandscapes patch.esp [Version 1.0] Not related to your problem, but you don't need the seperate patches. MTCExpandedVillages-UniqueLandscapes patch.esp is a merged file of those. -
GUIDE Mythic Dawn: 2015 Update Discussion & Changelog
TirigonX replied to SynthetikHD's topic in Oblivion - Mythic Dawn
Better Cities causes massive fps drops inside and outside cities. I think it is impossible to play Oblivion at a decent framerate with that mod. (and by decent I mean above 40) You're right it has nothing to do with textures. Biggest problem are mods that add objects like buildings and BC adds a lot of those. Especially the areas around Bravil docks and Anvil docks were unplayable the last time I tried that mod. I think I got less than 20 fps there. Unique landscapes and village mods like MTC can also cause lower fps in some areas but it shouldn't be as bad as BC. All Natural seemed to cause major fps drops in interiors for me. Oblivion Reloaded's frame rate manager can help to smooth things out a bit but don't expect a solid 60 fps. The game uses only one processor core, no matter how many you've got. Overclocking the cpu can help to get a few fps. -
Yeah sorry, it clearly says in the installer that they are in. No idea how I missed that

Have you noticed that the current version of Farmhouse Chimneys includes patches for Soljund's Sinkhole and Whistling Mine? Or did you leave them out on purpose?
