  1. Depends on which country and which currency i guess. My rig cost me about 1800 € including all software (OS, Office, Skyrim+DLC)
  2. Interesting but not all in it is to my liking...
  3. Looks a lot better.
  4. Looks like bad UV-mapping to me... dunno, maybe redownload and reinstall the mod applying those textures will help.
  5. Did you optimize your textures?
  6. At least in the testversions there was a setting called bdisableeffect=true which only kept the memory optimization active.
  7. Afaik the enblocal.ini has a setting which disables all enb effects from enbseries.ini
  8. Discussion thread: Enhanced Distant Terrain 2 by SparrowPrince Wiki Link SparrowPrince just released a new release of EDT. See gallery for all DT compares: Images are named accordingly. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4lapetl23k8n8au/1BJKtP5E4z Dropped in 2.2.9.1. Included in the Ruffled Feather.
  9. There is a new version making the hair look rougher. Is that better for step core?
  10. Are you sure you didn't accidentally added masters to one of the esps?
  11. What exactly is your problem?
  12. Disable iLargeCellRefCount tweak from skyrim.ini and reduce texture load through optimizing and resizing your textures to 2k max and if needed 1k normals.
  13. Snow actually is blinding, if it's sunny. But I understand that annoys you in game ;-)
  14. I guess that's a vanilla bug, which can appear, if you zap through the quest line too fast.
  15. Yup, that was my first tweak. You can use it safely.
  16. No, for the last time: i use a nvidia gainward gtx 680 4gb phantom.
  17. Back up your ini files, delete them, let steam skyrim launcher recreate them and see if that works.
  18. I think it's a skyrim bug. Load up a save before the incident after deinstalling your enb, and retry.
  19. Have you made a saveini command on the console? You need to run skyrim through the steam launcher after you deleted both inis and the rendererinfo txt. Also if you have increased ugrids you need to set the same ugrids value again or your saves won't load.
  20. I just tried the most recent 1.95 with reduce memory enabled, i got more stutter, but vmmap didn't show less mem usage. With only the 64 bit tweak enabled, it was ok, but not measurably improved. So, that's my verdict so far.
  21. This. ^What is really safe to use, are the tweaks in Skyrim.ini (fneardistance). It will only cause clipping if you move very close to an obstacle, but nothing game breaking. It will definitely not cause Infinite loading screens. I currently have it set to 25, since I experience very bad z-fighting, and I cannot use the skyrimprefs tweaks because of infini loads.
  22. Just after we finished testing... it got updated again. Yeeeeha!
  23. For only step not sr the optional will be fine. As for sr, merging is a necessity anyways at some point! ;-)
  24. Well, training your followers might be useful...
  25. if both work, the esp-free one o'course.
