DROPPED Enhanced Projectile Soul Trap (by William Imm)

Has anyone of you guys confirmed that USKP does provide a soul trap projectile? In my case it doesn't and I'm wondering whether that's on my part or not. Thread for reference: https://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=3748 -
Mod organizer and the upcoming Unofficial Skyrim Changes
torminater replied to GSDFan's question in Mod Organizer Support
Apparently it got fixed, but it's not fixed in my game... weird. EDIT: I found out, that even with a manual installation the soul trap projectile doesn't show up, so it's most certainly not the fault of MO. -
Yup, same here. Just install it. If it doesn't find SKSE when you load your savegame, then you need to figure out, what went wrong.

Mod organizer and the upcoming Unofficial Skyrim Changes
torminater replied to GSDFan's question in Mod Organizer Support
You need to have Acquisitive Soul Gems overwriting USKP in your priority order.Well, I'm on a vanilla playthrough right now...Only Official DLCs, Unofficial Patches and SKSE with SkyUI 4.1 are active... Does the fix from USKP produce a visible projectile or not? If not, it works, if it should, I would need to find out, why it doesn't. -

OK, I updated to MO 1.07 and USKP 2.0. The load order doesn't get reset as far as I can tell BUT: Soul trap projectile does not work... Is there any deathproof method to check whether or not MO applies all the files correctly? -

Hey guys, I currently don't have any direct internet connection with my gaming desktop. It's still on MO 12.9 (the version before 0.99 beta). However I wonder whether there is any way, I could possibly make false esms (Unofficial patches in specific) work with that version, since updating without internet connection is rather ... tedious. I tried everything I could think of: - edit load order in MO manually until it was "right". - edit user rules with Boss userlist manager. - lock all indexes. - make load order and lockedorder.txt read-only - make the changes through MO and Skyrim Launcher In most cases it worked out, but USKP always got put after Dragonborn.esm after I ran the game, and the fixes never worked... Priority/Install order by the way is correct... This would just need to be an interim solution until I've got internet connection again (about 9 days from today.) -

How does this compare to Sound Propagation Overhaul? -
Sad to hear... Maybe the Stable uGrids mod could improve on this issue, as it is supposed to make cell transitions less strainfull and more straightforward (at least I heard that somewhere...)

SKYRIMLE Hold Border Banners by Thicketford
torminater replied to rootsrat's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Hey Thicketford, welcome! You could take the stone pillars which are standing around the standing stones (with the glowing fx on them) e.g. in the morthal Swamp. The only problem would be to apply the engravings on to them... -

Well even without open wars against the US anybody pissed of at sth the US government did at some point in time burns US flags wherever they can be found. I think it's safe to say enemy troops would burn anything that suits as a reminder to whom that piece of land belongs to to the ground and I don't think that people are then bothered with reerecting them. A massive Stone Pillar with an ancient (or not so ancient) nordic engraving that you now enter the realm under the direct influence of one or the other hold as a statement of power and a threat to any opponents would probably withstand most efforts of destroying it. But those would probably not be very up2date. I'ld say, if you placed those pillars in the vicinity of a hold's towns or capitals at or close to main roads leading directly to them it would make more sense, BUT then the actual reason why the modder puts them there is for naught, since by then you already know to which hold it belongs. I'ld say any option has it's pros and cons, but I'ld like a mixture of the different options. For example any town or village could have a stone pillar at the roads leading to it, just as far away from the town that you can't yet see it as an announcer which hold you are in and who has the jurisdiction in that hold. In the settlements banners would need to be placed to show the allegiance to either Stormcloaks or imperials. Around forts and outposts there could be wooden posts with signs which state who currently owns this realm. On top of the fortified structures banners would indicate the owner and his allegiance to either Imperials or Stormcloaks. During the civil war campaign captured settlements and outposts and regions would have the banners replaced with the banner of the victorious. It would need a couple of simple scripts and an esp to place the different items. For compatibility one could make a esp without the banner feature and maybe Apollo or the mod author would provide a compatibility edition for CWO. In general I'ld like to see pillars, posts and banners only in places where they are easily maintainable by the populace without needing a "lantern caretaker" lighting up a lantern in the middle of nothing during a blizzard and the most bloody war on skyrim ground for hundreds of years... This being said, there will be transitional areas between the fortified structures and settlements without a indication to whom this area belongs, since as others already said there usually won't be a clear and clean borderline inbetween the holds, since they shift with the troop movements. Of course game mechanics will still draw a clean borderline and if you get caught in a "no-man's-land" you will still owe the penalty to the jarl of the hold it "actually" belongs to, but imho it would be utterly more immersive than a banner with one hold on one side and the other hold on the other side... -
Is there seriously no texture out there for this?
torminater replied to Southman's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I'ld say it's a usual texture with just a lot of stretching to it. Maybe it'll need rather some mesh editing than new retextures. -
Skyrim Object Fade is causing a big FPS hit? (7950)?

Could you try to do some benchmarking how your CPU/GPU/RAM perform whilst playing with high fade or low fade? -
SKYRIMLE Hold Border Banners by Thicketford
torminater replied to rootsrat's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
If this mod had a other option with carved stones (like milestones for example), this mod would perfectly fit my mod suggestion I had made on the unique region names thread a couple of months ago! Great, that somebody took it up! -
I'll ditto that. If the author however would want to provide a nice fomod/bain installer, that shows screens from the retextured objects (in game without post-processing would be nice but not necessary), we wouldn't need to go through a testing procedure as tedious and might be able to create a little BCF with STEP's choices on all of them.

I still like it and would like to consider it for TESTING. -
Well, not all is gold in Germany as well, but in more cases than not people get paid what the insurancies are due to pay for their treatment, and if not, they have a good chance of suing them for the money. All in all most operations and treatments in Germany are a whole lot cheaper than in the US, which partly is caused by doctors and dentists needing to pay enormous amounts of cash in their insurances which cover their behinds if they should screw one of their operations up and get sued by a couple of million dollars. Those doctors and dentists then need to raise their prices for everything, so they can afford their insurance but also make some sort of living after having to pay a high 6-digit number of dollars for their education which goes into the 7-digits as soon as they open up their own practice and acquire all the special equipment they need. So yeah, in Germany nobody can sue for 1-2 million dollars of more over everything. So insurances for screw-ups from doctors are a lot lower, and prices are more affordable EVEN WITHOUT HEALTH CARE or without payment from the insurance.

Not sure how well the research done on this article is done, but at least it's in English and didn't look to far off the record. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Healthcare_in_Germany

Just happy, that in germany our health care system is just awesome ;-)
