pack Weather and Lighting (by Smile44)
hishutup replied to Smile44's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
OK, tired but I think I got something done... Please, take a look at it, as there may be mistakes. There is only one reliable way to patch this kind of setup using premade patches is by merging the patches in the merge. I made two patches, one for STEP Core and one for Extended. I dont think that I will do other patches for any other packs but we'll see -
... The Skyproc patchers generate slightly different plugins than what Tes5Edit expects. Robinsage is recommending that you disable those patches because it can sometimes mess up Tes5Edit. They dont add any weathers, so they are not needed for the patcher. Simply uncheck SUM.esp ReProccer.esp SkyRe_Main.esp & Modules ASIS-Dependency.esp and then run the RS patcher again. After the patcher is done, re-enable those mods you previously disabled. I guess neo says the warnings dont matter. *shrugs* BTW, you didn't mess anything up. No files were written. There are only a handful of people that have sever issues on STEP. I participating in most of the troubleshooting for the past 4 months. Sometimes things don't work 100% correct but its all good. 90% of the time its a simple solution.

I need to continue this but I encountered several problems with setting up a patch for the merged plugin. If everything is done exactly the same their shouldn't be any issues but I don't know. I guess, I will go with it and ask people to check their plugins for errors EDIT: Almost done and satisfied... *sigh* just a lil longer now -
pack Dreadflopps Modular patches

Skyre had the weapons distributed inside the main esp. I believe the reproccer was adjust weapon and armor values. Perma patcher does all kinds of crazy, including distribution of the weapons. I can say a new game may be required because formids in the mid game will change if a user replaces their consistency file with mine. I should have just about every weapon mod that is common. Edit: I apologize for not committing to what I said. Tomorrow I'll try to upload the consistency file and get the loot rule for perma done. -
That long time is due to mo magic being terribly slow with anything that generates a file. :/ There are reasons why but its still annoying.

Getting random flashing graphical glitches
hishutup replied to natranr's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Radeon pro can.... It causes a mustard yellow ctd when using cf and enb. I couldn't be asked to find out specifically why. That is a the major one, I havent looked at the others Stay using this topic because it shows what has been previously attempted. -
I was looking at GrantSP's post and I kind of like it but I have to re-read it when I'm not tired. I do not think he is over thinking it because the way LOOT works is significantly different than how BOSS worked. BOSS is easy to understand. You can boil it down to people "Either people trust it or they do not." "I'll just download it and accept what it does to my load order, because it DOES know better than me." I would say you would have to out smart the application to find a better Load Order. I would encourage everyone to take a look at the mods that they are using. The main downside with LOOT is that patching becomes hard. Patches need to contain all of the conflicting records because you can tell is A is before B of A is after B. That is another discussion though. I haven't taken a look at the new one but I definitely will soon because I need to figure out what all the ruckus is.

Getting random flashing graphical glitches
hishutup replied to natranr's question in General Skyrim LE Support
are you using any sort of software to monitor your graphics stats? Are there any programs that you are running that may affect the game? Re-run the packages that are in the Skyrim directory. Run: ...\DirectX10\DXSETUP.exe ...\DotNetFX\dotnetfx35setup.exe ...\VCRedist\vcredist_x86.exe After doing that does anything change? -
that is z fighting, there is no known fix. You can only subdue the effect, here is a guide.

hishutup replied to natranr's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Hmm, okay then.... Try reverting the overclock to base and then report back. EDIT: hold on a sec, I just looked at the inis and well I see several things wrong with them. Can you delete them and then have the launcher regenerate them -
pack Dreadflopps Modular patches

I think if I share my constancy file for PerMa, it should keep the same FormIDs for everyone. I'll look into that tomorrow because it is late. -
crash to desktop even when just have the base nine/elven mods
hishutup replied to uiowebae's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Usually they are masters but I did observe a crash at startup when I raise the blocks2 values in the skse memory tweaks. It was the first setting in the enb local... The name escapes me. -

Getting random flashing graphical glitches
hishutup replied to natranr's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I just remembered that awhile back someone else had the exact same issue and it was the "omega" drivers. I have crossfire and my second card is no longer being detected. I think the drivers are screwed in someway. I would uninstall them with what neo recommended an then either us try beta witch is an older version last I checked or go back one full release. I'll be doing the same. -

STEP Extended: Randomly Timed CTDs on Game Start
hishutup replied to vlog's question in General Skyrim LE Support
well, like I said, I don't mind it but the "-forcesteamloader" is the only solution that I know of that can 'fix' the issue of the Memory tweaks not applying. I guess try to add the argument and see what happens. *shrugs*
