  2. So I was taking a look at Enderal to see how hard it would be to make a version of RBB for it. As I was poking through the german options menu, I came across options some tweaks. The ultra inis that are spit out are not terrible other than some extra clutter from parameters that are not needed or that are suspected to not be used by the engine. The "issue" that I want to gather thoughts on is with the launcher options window, specifically this tab. As far as I can tell they are disabled but this is one of the few mods that may bring players back to skyrim, whom of which will likely not know what these tweaks do and they may figure more options enabled is better, right? For the most part these tweaks may not do anything or may cause unnecessary race conditions. I do like how they include at least the lip sync fix though but I do think they should urge people to use ENBoost as it is one of the solutions to fix the infamous 3.1GB crash. Anyhow, what do you think? I think these tweaks should not even be in the laucher, even the [HAVOK] ones.   6. This is another time where the term "compatible" can be misinterpreted. In general is it fine to use with everything unless, there is a particular mod that changes the layout of a city in way where some visible objects would toggled, when they are clearly in view. This will never cause any issues other then some visual oddities. I think the collisions remain but I cannot remember. I havent come across a mod that changes the cities so much that this is very apparent but then again I wasnt look for this issue, I was observing performance and the overall feel.
  7. What ever esp he is using is broken(probably fixable). Do not merge broken plugins as it will break the merged plugin and partially break the script. There is a reason why mator checks for errors and then prohibits one from merging if it does not pass. There are several esps with the same name for that plugin, make sure you have the correct one from the correct location. I do not have a full install so I cannot provide that info, someone else may be able to.
  8. I don't have a definitive answer either. I know that SPO uses planes to let the engine hide stuff but I don't know how boris implements his version though. I usually see people use both at the same time. With some city mods its obvious that boris' implementation does increase the fps along side SPO which is probably due to the mods not properly utilizing the occ. planes. However, with the base game I cannot see any note worthy impact either way due to my specs but I do use both.

  10. I wouldn't remove ELFX and VW as they are kind of a big pain because of all the dependencies. There is a version of Tetra for this combo which is Tetrachromatic ENB for Vivid Weathers - Empire
  11. You can merge a merge. Its just cleaner to keep the merges merged oncebut since it is a full mod, don't see anything wrong with it Also ddl is able to handle merges with the merge map file

  13. The guides are there for people to use and they would die out if they didn't "work". Yes, it is hard to share the completed installs due to copyright and the shear size of the install. If you want help with what went wrong then following a guide means there are others to help you but only if you ask nicely.
  14. I've been disconnected from these thread because the guide is a mess and I can fix it but I am not good with descriptions or explanations. I've been intermittently fixing this guide on a different page but its slow and will be lacking in explanations and details. If anyone doesn't mind rewording some snips(a paragraph or two) shoot me a pm. As for the crashes, its likely oblivion being oblivion. I think they can be somewhat minimized by using ENBoost(without speedhack), OR, OSR(FPS management disabled). Any skills that meh has, I do not have when it comes to the exe, sorry.

If anyone doesn't mind rewording some snips(a paragraph or two) shoot me a pm. BAIN is supported as its just a file structure but the Wizard.txt installers are definitely not. The reasons I can see is that if one cant fully utilize MOs ability then it requires some micromanaging. For me its just easier to just use one program that lacks in a few fields. And also Oblivion has several wizard.txt installers which are difficult to install without them.
  16. I dont see why this isnt included in STEP because RWT is part of core and it does have some bobbing boats even if you don't select the bobbing boats option. The only thing that this mod does that is extra on top of RWT is bob the rest of the boats and the objects that are placed on them so that they appear to bob with the boat. I also want to note that chairs are removed since there are some problems with the people. I could include an optional to re-enable the chairs but they will not be able to bobbed. Also I should note that yes, I am maintaining RBB.

I dont know if this is correct but from the image that you supply it looks like you are running out of memory with the tweaks in crash fixes because that is what all the spam in the log is CustomMemoryBlock=1 CustomMemoryBlockTotalSizeMb=64 I think you have to increase CustomMemoryBlockTotalSizeMb= a little bit. How much? I have no idea maybe 96 or 128. I switched back to skse mem tweaks since meh is still trying to figure out some stuff.

The only thing that I have done since the win10 beta was make a folder ("Games" in my case) to let everyone have full control as all that was going to be stored in that folder are game stuff like MO, steamapps and xEdit. Do I think it is necessary, no but I have always done this and I have yet to have a critical issue with anything. My guess on what happened is that the plugin list didnt stick so the mods didnt load right but I would just go through the normal T/S stuff. Vanilla via SKSE launcher MO Vanilla MO USLEEP MO Everything minus mods that need autopatchers etc usually the problem will be apparent within the first two steps, anyhow have fun :D
  19. I used the term patches, generically because I don't know what else depends on it. I only see one RBB record in neo conflict res guide but I dont know what that is or if it is even affect. I think DDL needs to be rebuilt but I don't know if it actually affected(broken). I doubt bashed patch or DSR is affected.
  20. why a new game? it just changes some meshes but you'll like have to rebuild patches to reference the new formIDs and rerun DDL Verdant is awesome and horrible at the same time because the forest area looks really cool but the tunda is just way too dense. The land edits are just bad in my opinion and cause a whole mess of trouble since the plugin loads so late. Overall, with some edits it could be a good fit but it feels like it adds grass, to add grass. I think SFO GOS version is quite good and adds some density and variety. Again, this is my opinion
  21. Not really... if youre going from 2.4.4 to 2.4.7 then youre good, I altered the FOMOD however if you are using 2.4.5 or 2.4.6 then reinstall the meshes as they didnt overwrite properly.
  22. Im pretty sure that the LE PC version is only distributed on steam. There were a few early versions of the original game that were not though. I also think steam's games directory has several hard coded folders like steamapps and common. In other words, I think it is.

  24. I would screencap it but Im running on a barebones win7 install. I've also seen that win10's defender is flagging. I wanted to run it through virus total but I couldnt download it, I now see that you can link a URL. Here is what it sees: downloaded file analysis MSE reports it as a trojan and it isnt usually a program to give false readings. 2.0.6 downloads and runs without a flagHowever downloading 2.0.7, MSE immediately removes it.
