  1. I forgot to make a note of that here. I misunderstood what the author meant. "Copy it to your root game folder (like you do with OBSE) and start the game/editor as you would normally (with the OBSE launcher or otherwise)." I thought was "Copy it to your game folder (like you do with OBSE plugins) and start the game/editor as you would normally (with the OBSE launcher or otherwise)." I was also looking at Enhanced Vanilla Trees's fomod and was very confused by the folder structure as it isnt traditional by any means

  3. My thought is leave the mod packed as an archive and just have the ini files separated out so that one can update without having to reconfigure.

  6. You need to at least have combat mode and equipment mode enabled in OR. Something that OOO does to the combat is wigging OR out. If I drop right in a cell with an NPC and he aggros, nothing happens however, if I walk away so that presumably the cell isnt loaded and walk so that he just aggros, the game crashes. I tired completely reverting all the edits done to that NPC as far as the record is concerned and it made no difference. My next course of action would be to look into the records that are not altered by OOO that the NPC uses, like RACE, LVLI, and whatnot I spent several hours toying with OR and there are still several outlying issues that I picked up on. I can think of 5 potential issues but only 2 I have investigated far enough into to report. 3 out of the 5 potential issues are with purely OR and know why no one noticed them. Remember havent investigated them all thoroughly Precipitations has this odd glowing blue effect that runs along an axis just above the players head, its really odd. Equipment mode doesnt seem to work with some part of OOO The water shader rubber bands The grass regenerates when the scrollwheel is pushed forward quickly with camera mode enabled. The grass doesn't... I don't know how to explain it, here is a video I havent really tested this at all, I just noticed it.I wanted OR to be plug n' play but I have put a good amount of time investigating some issues. I doubt that has anything to do with it. I have a disc copy laying around somewhere. I wish the game would just release on GOG so I can use MO and not have to bother with DRM. Im able to slowly get the occasional CTDs sorted, it just takes time to find a way to accurately reproduce a CTD in a consistent manner.

  8. I was going to look into that I just dont want another NVAC thing. I found out about the "OblivionReloadedEsp.ini" which may contain some unwanted features and duplicate keybinds from what I want to recommend. Anyone have any opinions? Here is a dump of the default ones EDIT: Also does anyone notice how laggy the water is when OR's [Shaders] EnableWater = 1It's pretty bad to the point where I can see where it loops. I've been seeing it for a long while but thought it was because my vsync wasn't working.
  9. Probably not, but after using ETD, most of the object do look pretty bad without it.Yes, this is my opinion.
  10. I stopped using RR in favor of Enhanced textures detail (UV-tweaks) because I cannot stand the stretched textures on objects, I much prefer a little tiling.
  11. The esp contains a special flag that is "Has Water" which needs to be carried forward. Well if you have the files, srto but since most don't, use the alternate. From what I have observed, my PC handles it fine(barely) but I NEED to be in win7 otherwise I'll stutter everywhere due to the 4064 report bug Also, I don't use SMC with SRLE and more specifically ELFX because there are several mods that add parallax which then overwrite elfx meshes which then cause the horrid flicker everywhere. With that being said good luck using a touch because it will not work because of the previous point. SMC no parallax option had some odd behavior. I think it did remove parallax but there were several meshes in the final SMC folder that caused any inn to flicker with elfx.
  12. Gah, every ao so far has that bug, maybe nVidia's would behave differently. Its optional, disable it if you want. I could report this and I know the issue could be narrowed down more but I am not comfortable reporting something to him. I'm afraid that there will be some misunderstanding which will cause some tension between Alenet and myself.
  13. Well, figured it out it was Oblivion Reloaded's EquipmentMode which was causing the repeatable CTDs. Also, the 4GB Patcher causes random crashes with an 0xC0000005 exception. With ENBoost I don't think the extra 800MB is worth it. Now I need to decide on the OSR heap size and more heap size(install in root)

  17. okay, whats funny is I can't seem to nail it down. If I cow tamriel -48,-3then everything is okay but if I got from anvil to that cell by following the path then when the cells transition, I CTD right on the border. I can't explain it and I don't have the knowledge on investigating it. So this rule out pretty much everything. The only thing lead I can follow is to gut the Worldspace edits in that area and try not to break anything and try it again. If you want to meet up on skype or w/e Im available tonight for several more hours from posting time.
  18. I think its pretty good and most of the textures transitions are not half bad like some other individual texture packs. I have most if not all the removed files(SRTO mountains is the best). The overall size isnt that bad even with all the 4k optionals which I can barely make work with 6GB VRAM.
  19. Just to be clear, is the CTD that is being discussed still the anvil to gottshaw inn CTD?

  21. Work... no, not really. Every now and then I'll boot up oblivion but Ive been playing Skyrim and doing other internet things
  22. I have, I just havent investigated it. My guess is that there some thing with a bad mesh.
