Permanently Disabling Objects in Skyrim
hishutup replied to GamerPoets's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I believe an issue arises when something references an item when it is deleted. Thats why I appended "If you do delete it run the UDR script" because that will disable them and do the usual xEdit UDR thing. -
Permanently Disabling Objects in Skyrim
hishutup replied to GamerPoets's question in General Skyrim LE Support
markfordelete but be careful with it. No, I dont know of any consequences. As for editing the esp, just flag it as disabled or delete it. If you do delete it run the UDR script -
Id suspect something else is bottlenecking it. The first place id look is at the CPU usage and clocks to see if it operating correctly. Then I'd look at RAM. All of these are simple checks but for an sanity check I would run some stresses/benchmarks on each component to see if everything is operating normally
-
I would start by assessing whether or not the GPU is being pushed, id do this by looking at the GPU usage. If it's pegged then check your clocks on the gpu. There was a driver release awhile back that made the 970 stay in a lower power state. If that's not it I would look at the inis for ENB, enboost, skyrims, and GPU profiles.

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

No that I completely busted. I have a fully working version on wao, just grab that for the time being. -
If I were you Id get a benchmark of how much usage is required for encoding. If its less then two cores then set the affinity for the encoder to use only two of the available physical cores. Then for skyrim set the affinity to the other two cores then you should be fine, however with my amd 6970 2GB, I did notice stutter almost consistently, regardless of mods. Upgrading to a 4GB card obviously fixed it. But at Tech said, 8 logical cores would help I would argue the other way since one should always assume there is some sort of risk. Before even attempting to OC a foreign architecture, you have to research what affects what. One of the gotchyas on skylake is that the vcore ramps up with clockspeed. Most high end mobos have this disabled by default but when I enabled it the vcore when up to 1.35+ which I wasnt happy with so I applied a negative offset as it was stable across the board otherwise.

Can YOU find the source of my troubles? Intermittent Freezing.

Raise blocks1 by 256 in skse.ini you're maxing the current blocks 1 -
I wonder if it needs an seq file to start the script. Seq can be generated in xedit by right clicking on the plugin and hovering over options or something near the bottom of the list. I dont recall anyone else on the issue but I had this with another mod I helped out on, the mod just wouldn't start the mcm

Infinite load, high VRAM/GPU usage, help?
hishutup replied to Sakiri's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I found that with weaker systems it can produce stutter. -

MO + SKSE = Lag and Lower Framerate!
hishutup replied to kornest's question in Mod Organizer Support
Were the inis brought up? MO has its own set that overrides the ones in my games folder. Maybe there is some sort of discrepancy there? -

You should be fine using it but keep the billboards in the order of Vanilla, SFO, RAT because they each override each other -

I wouldnt think RS would cause any issue. ELFX is one of the worst offenders. The author fixes this by editing the meshes. The only problem with this is if one is using a mod that replaces those meshes, such as parallax mods. I really think Neo should remove the parallax mod from the guide because the issue you are observing is likely because of that mod. -

I think this is the appropriate link, check lightbulbs -
Its either msaa or if you have amd, don't use cf+radeon pro+ENB because it'll be yellow like that

New Rig, Windows 10 Enb Vram Question
hishutup replied to TehKaoZ's question in Post-Processing Support
I tired to consume as much VRAM as possible and I didnt notice any stutter. Its a dumb issue but I would almost consider it a nonissue at this point. Any new games wont have the issue because its specific to dx9, by my understanding. The only recommendation I can make is to turn ReservedMemorySizeMb= to its lowest value(64) since it consumes VRAM and I havent been able to determine if there is an actual difference from min/max. -
I couldnt see anything observable on my end. fps wasn't affected(solid 60) and usage was the same at one location but the other was slightly less but definitely within the margin of error. Now, I will say I was looking at the water which may or may not be considered transparent, Im thinking no. I dont think transparent objects commonly exist in skyrim, glaciers are the only think I can think of but it would probably required a mod.

I think that is one of those nvidia only features but I dont know.

yeah that mod, I wouldn't install the included billboards since 2.4 is newer than 2.3. Just use the normal billboards from the TES5LODGen modpage and have then overwrite each other in the proper order. You also need 1.91 for masters and some other special trees. Merging would be awesome but its not quite there yet.
