  1. generally leave them enabled if you don't have MO handling them or you haven't extracted the .bsa that is associated with the .esp Otherwise you can uncheck them. I would recommend extracting the bsa and then placing it in a proper LO. I follow the 2 suggestion. I have not bsa archives other than some from steam because of ETaC.
  2. If you look back on the bug report I re-ran it again with the fix and it was way better but I moved onto wrye bash but I guess its for the best until there is wizard.txt/OMOD support
  3. I dont believe there really is a way to precisely count frames other than Vsync, especially in skyrims engine. What I said is kinda wrong but its complicated. Anyhow I get what you mean but use enb and set it in there and get rid of any other weird d3d9 dll. Sweetfx, SMAA, and color injectors are fine though.
  4. hmm... ok in the skyrim ini ( this is just to see dont make it official or anything) set the iPresetinterval=0. In enb set vsync to 0 and then enable frame limiter to 60-66 fps. Be warned this will probably cause weirdness in-game but test it. I'm going to have a mod or someone else come in here and be like back up your saves and ini's before you do any edit that can potentially hurt your game. I figure, if you don't then that is your own fault but to be fair I guess I'll say it to cover myself. I dont know if I read Slinky correctly but your frames should never go over 60 unless for a special reason but still max 70 fps otherwise really weird stuff occurs
  5. oh I see whats going on.... go back to the mod page and download the bonemold and skyforge steel packages... he forgot to include them in the final product... Purple textures is not a mod conflict, its a missing texture.
  6. Just to follow up There was a memory leak but its only when writing files and when there are over 10,000 files being written it becomes apparent.... this is said by tannin
  7. well, thank you... But I wish MO had a manual install option where it would actually create an archive or write the LO to the actual DATA folder. Using MO as testing is great but its still a VFS.
  8. hmm... so optimization issue then. I've use VFS before but they didn't do this but it didn't work with thousands of tiny files being written. As for Skyproc, I've used AV and Reproccer and I remember them taking a few to finish but never 20 min... But that is a side note. Well, I guess its documented. So if some looks it up later they'll find this. I guess I'll have to go back to wryebash....
  9. Have you noticed a substantial increase in time when using Skyproc patchers? What do you mean 5 second delete and guess thing? I'm guessing you're also going to call thing General MO weirdness or do you consider this a bug?
  10. Im mainly taking about the [Memory] section from enblocal. Are you using any texture packs because ETaC consumes a ton of VRAM from a 1GB card, enough to cause a crash. I have a 2GB card and running 1k is too much for it.
  11. thats for Skyproc patchers... Yet again the 1GB thing is for skyproc if it did then why does it take upwards of 15x the time and then fail... TES4LODGen only used <400MB as ram and didn't move above 7% on a quad core but with MO it just kept increasing until it ran out of memory and using 25% the entire time or 100% on one core. I doubt its a memory leak otherwise skyrim would hate it. I generated the tamriel files outside MO and stuck them as a mod and it still takes forever and fails. I changed around the bug report a little also
  12. nope... Its MO after removing MO from the equation, meaning copying over all the mod folders and mods. It runs without using a ridiculous amount of resources read my bug report especially check out the pics https://issue.tannin.eu/tbg/modorganizer/issues/759 I tried it three times both ways and it was about the same. With mo it takes longer than 30min followed up with crash. Whereas removing MO it took less than 2min and was just fine. Don't get me wrong I love MO but I surprised you haven't noticed application running slowly Yes, I moved the mods into the data directory just like manual.
  13. Whats your specs? whats your enblocal?
  14. ok you can use the 4GB patcher it bring the memory up to 3.7GB but mines been running for almost 8 times longer through MO... Which is absurd. MO is unusable with patchers including SUM https://i58.tinypic.com/2hi2s9e.png CPU maxed out on one core for some reason
  15. just my 2 cents but on an AMD 6970 2GB. I've tested it many times and there is no really answer for reserved and for video memory i found when you leave it under the VRAM size enb will free memory automatically. thus gives me these values. [MEMORY]ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true because its worth itReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true because sameDisableDriverMemoryManager=true because AMD. so reduced stutterDisablePreloadToVRAM=false because I want to alt tabEnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false because I have a 64 bit OSReservedMemorySizeMb=128 because if youre maxing VRAM-> reduce or if you have some to spare increaseVideoMemorySizeMb=1920 because once VRAM goes high it seem to clear it and improve framesEnableCompression=false because the stutter is horribleAutodetectVideoMemorySize=false because itll ignore the set Videomemorysize. It put mine at 6144 when I used it. Ummm the reservememory has a max value of 1024 and it doesn't really matter what you have it set at because ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=false so that doesnt use any of the values you set
  16. awesome... I just didn't want to see this die And very understandable about the voiced dialogue thing
  17. its funny because CJ said he gave up modding. The Copy/paste of the post went way better than expected. I do believe he'll still maintain this pack though. Hopefully. From ETaC posts section. CJ231126 kudos637 posts That was a business trip she went on last month, not vacation. Also, I realize that Jenna did not post here about me giving up modding, so if you're wondering why I wasn't posting, that's the reason. And for new mods to expand I to have been adding Tes arena and also Forgotten Settlements... I've briefly looked at them in game and there seems to be a problem with one but so amazing together. I am unsure right now though.
  18. funny thing I had the exact same thing happen but it was a long time ago... you're probably overloading VRAM or the memory... change the setting to 512, 512 and take a look.
  19. On the Performance topic. I believe your card is very under powered. I am only able to use one of my 6970 and I generally get 60 frames exterior and inside I get 30-60. I even installed almost all the higher res version of poco -I hate this name because I can never spell it correctly- and I do fine my enblocal is [MEMORY]ExpandSystemMemoryX64=trueReduceSystemMemoryUsage=falseDisableDriverMemoryManager=trueDisablePreloadToVRAM=trueEnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=falseReservedMemorySizeMb=512VideoMemorySizeMb=1920EnableCompression=false FNV uses about 90% whereas in the casino or strip... IDK Benny place. I get like 13 fps with 20% usage. VRAM hangs around 1.5 GB to 1.9 GB. I have a keyboard with an LCD in it so I am able to monitor these numbers in real time. I believe FNV is one of those games that you have to add a large amount of graphics power to get anything from it and also VRAM might be an issue... but if the're all 1k then that should be it. Reason for -out of order- enblocal:ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=false is because when its true it causes huge lag and fps drop. Definitely sure of this.EnableCompression=false because it causes this funny stutter, almost rubber-band like. Definitely sure of this.VideoMemorySizeMb=1920 not used, but hey why notDisablePreloadToVRAM=true because you cant alt tab anyway and lows VRAM consumptionDisableDriverMemoryManager=true because its better. Definitely sure of this.ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true IDK it was just a starting pointReservedMemorySizeMb=512 IDK it was also a starting point and probably not used You cant alt tab it crashes. Even with the console up. The only place where I was able to load it back up was on the main menu and only half of the time.
  20. back to the weather topic. I was able to merge pure weather and cot using viridian along with ess, ss and extended weathers. I also used Solstheim Climate Overhaul with a fixed merged patch for cot... I was going to patch pure weather, Solstheim Climate Overhaul, COT but didnt really care. EDIT 1: also don't merge the realistic water two main esp because you'll get missing planes. look at falkreath. EDIT 2: Merge plugins v1.65: Merges files. For use with TES5Edit and FNVEdit. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Merging Pureweather.esp Merging ClimatesOfTamriel Falskaar.esp Merging ClimatesOfTamriel-Dawnguard-Patch.esp Merging ClimatesOfTamriel-Dragonborn-Patch.esp Merging ExpandedSnowSystems-CoT.esp Merging Supreme Storms - Cot Version.esp Merging CoT-WeatherPatch.esp Merging CoT-WeatherPatch_DB.esp Merging CoT-WeatherPatch_ESS.esp Merging CoT-WeatherPatch_Snow-40.esp Merging CoT-WeatherPatch_SupStorms.esp Merging Solstheim Climate Overhaul - COT compatibility.esp Merging Vividian - Weather Patch CoT - ESS + SS.esp Merging Vividian - Extended Weathers.esp Merging Vividian - Extended Weathers - CoT.esp Merging Vividian - Extended Weathers - Pure weathers.esp Merging Vividian - Diverse Weathers - CoT + PW.esp Merging Vividian - AllinOne Presets.esp Merging ClimatesOfTamriel-Sound.esp Merging SoS - Civilization.esp Merging SoS - The Dungeons.esp Merging SoS - The Wilds.esp Merging Weather&Sound Patch.esp EDIT 3: before merging pure weather there are some errors that need to be fixed with some of the Weather groups. I just carried the edits from the unofficial patches and it was all good. To include SoS you'll need to find a way to patch SoS and AOS. Whether is be carrying the cell edits from SoS and patching AOS sound into the new sound descriptor. I;'d recommend that but... You could remove almost all of the CELL group and acoustic space edits from SoS and use the vanilla acoustic space with SoS sounds. IDK, I was going to eventually make my own ELE, Weather & Sound - Merge, AOS Merger. Someone already had done this but I never looked but I think they went down neither road and just did simple conflict patching. I also don't use it because I want to keep the Vividian combined weathers because many weathers feels more natural rather than just snow, rain, sun, cloudy...
  21. I'm not really playing skyrim as of now. With that being said do you mind posting some screens?
  22. I remember looking at RBS and it was a total mess... I liked what it did but didn't like how many problems I had. Not that I am seeing this new one, I think Ill be using it. *know
  23. So is TTW usable with your guide or no. Is TTW incomplete or complete because if I could add TTW along with the patches above and have 2 very complete modded games in one then I'd enjoy that. Since there hasn't been a single comment in a month I'm going with that its too much work and too problematic.
  24. do not disable v sync. It helps the stuttering but you'll get more flying animals, objects in houses decide to flip out. and sometimes you have dead animals pop up next to you. Its happened to me...
