  1. try setting VideoMemorySizeMb=2048 or VRAM equivalent... Take that suggestion with a grain of salt. Its not going to work for everybody. MO hates it when Applications use more than 3.9 GB.
  2. iPreloadsizelimit that one of those contriversial ones Idk if you have heard but there is a guide that attaches numbers to the vanilla amount like vanilla would be 1 and QTP3 would be 3 and FCOM would be 2... I need to find it again... If you want to do your own testing I'll gladly appreciate it and I'll make another page with scattered testing... Red will have hers and i'll have mine.... Ill add a section on the page for independents... I had one typed up but I closed the tab :/
  3. Yes I have. Hmm, I had a few mods written down but the mods and their issues seemed to have disappeared. Better cities will be included but there is a small problem. Frames per second. I get 15 fps on decent hardware. If ANYONE knows a trick to helps frames on modern systems then speak up or if you know any little trick... Like: Limiting the save corruption... Preventing CTD/ slow downs... I didn't have save corruption. I set the heap size to 1024 in OSR and it crashes on load. I need to make that page
  4. The problem for me is that when I uploaded a full 1920x1080 image it didn't resize properly and just kinda left a broken image.... I then try to upload a be one after it at about 480x272 and it works just fine but in the page I used 480px instead of the broken 400px EDIT: It finally started to work... I don't know why... It still defaults to 400px on a 1920px image. I should default to 480px

Rant time, ignore this if you wish but I think there is some good info: The common problem for me was that it was difficult because of the following: To figure out if something actually existed whether it being a table/ template/ coloring I had to bug all of the staff and admins. Finding a good layout... Mine is still terrible, I'm most proud of the UI portion though Keeping all the text consistent. Might not sound like and issue but I have a lot of this. In one part it's press ok; click ok; Click: ok; click ''ok''; click [ok]; and now there is this [ok] I had open the edit on people's pages to figure out a <br> works or color code. There can be difficulties in formatting... My toc now has spaces because of the box... I have no idea how to remove it. The toc gets in the way. Most of these answer exist but are really difficult to find. The search function is the most useless thing. It really is. The mediawiki has good info but I can't seem to find the page that had most of the functions. Double you has good info but I can't remember the page. I remember almost all the staff had something interesting on their user pag but there wasn't a link from the root so I can't navigate there. That's why on my root page I have every link I have made. This was literally for my benefit but is pretty useful. I'm not even done ranting on but typing on a phone sucks.
  6. What up EssArrBee... I was taking a look at your guide again for what ever reason. I came across the creating a bashed patch section and immediately remember how much of a pain it was to keep track of it. So here's a suggestion, how about implementing one of those newly discover drop down menus. So that every line in the drop down has a user clickable check mark... Or subdividing the list up into smaller sections. Like groups of five. I don't know about you but my eyes wander away because of all the compact text.

Got into modding Oblivion tested without cleaning- works clean all mods - Crash at startup Tried to figure it out - got mad stopped modding Came back with DLC and UOPs - worked Clean DLC - Crash at startup Re installed all dirty DLC and when one by one Found the troublemaker- Couldn't figure it out Stopped modding Came back trying to get AI to work and there were issues because ini's for MO had not been generated yet. I open the game everything worked.... Closed and active MO AI and boom crash at start up. Removed the Archive invalidated!esp worked.... Tried OBMM's worked ever since It was a lot more painful than that but its close...
  8. I'd say remove everything... Including Base game MO and ini's... Restart from scratch... There was an issue with a fomod installed in MO I believe. Maybe it messed something up
  9. ah, Archive Invalidation. MO's doesn't work with a particular Cleaned Oblivion DLC for some strange reason In the guide, I am going to be sticking with OBMM's AI
  10. When I was trying out Mod organizers Archive Invalidation... I didn't work 100% The game wouldn't even start after cleaning a particular DLC... I recommend sticking with OBMM's version.... I haven't had a problem with it.

  12. no ctrl f with data in a collapsed table doesn't work BUT... It does work when they are open... Oh... hmm in the collapsed tables it doesn't recognize headers... it just leaves ===== Garbage =====
  13. I have class today as well a test so quick answer... When I was playing with MO and Oblivion there were minor issues with Archive invalidation. I wasn't planing on immediately implementing MO... Since there are issues with installers. Ill figure it out later tonight...

  15. Yeah, I had noticed that the header don't work but that doesn't affect me yet. As for the arrows instead of the [Exapand] is something that I would use because it's an icon rather than a word. This makes it more visible to users but my be confused with the YouTube comparison gallery, unless they we a slightly red-er color. I change in location of the [expand] would also be nice since the 4 drop down I'm my guide at this point are going time contain 3 side by side image scaled down to 480 px. They will up the screen and I believe the expand moved. Haven't checked yet. This wasn't just implemented it had been implemented but none of us knew about it. EDIT: the collapsable menus with the images do weird things but in the ones with on column the [Expand] gets thrown off to the side. This shouldn't be a problem for normally closed menus. Since the user had to click [Expand].
  16. If your using MO there can be issues because MO is weird sometimes. Make sure the Non-Mo plugins are in the correct order (yes this matters). follow this order: DGHFDBUSKPUDGPUHFPUDBPNow go to the archives tab that is above the Sort button. Uncheck Have MO manage archives NOTE: After you try this out check Have MO manage archives If this doesn't solve it the its a script override somewhere but you said you're only running vanilla + DLC so, this isn't going to help but its good documentation... In the overrides there is a script for in dragonborn that need to not be overriden but the name escapes me You can try re downloading the achieve again and re installing or you can just re install the unofficial patches If your doing a manual install then you might have a bad archive but that is unlikely since archive fail upon extracting.

  19. Im sure mod authors change teh name to make old patches not work anymore... to prevent people from use patch that now have errors in references because the mod moved things around.
  20. Well most of the show things are for ENB... You may want to try the shows that enb can do... as for the weird looking mountain... that happens when you're close but not close enough to fade the rocks in... you're seeing the landscape mesh at the top. Your issue is very interesting... I guess now I have seen it.
  21. It appears that the shadows are turn off... If you can regenerate inis That would explain the pale look. Also I would recommend the CCC driver anti aliasing... It's been quite a long time since I used it with skyrim but if memory serves correct, it driver AA is quicker EDIT: shadows on the grass
  22. Ah... could be a few things but the shimmering is more/less aliasing. Too much anti-aliasing can cause the same effect. Try removing any d3d9.dll you are using then take another look. It can be caused by having too many anti-aliasing methods. Running Skyrims FXAA, SFX FXAA, and SFX SMAA all at once will cause some weird effects... Generally you only want to run one method but sometimes a good combination can work and look good. If you have ENB set LOD bias to 0. I believe its in enblocal.ini. Do you use any method of downsampling. If you don't know what that is then most likely not. Hmm are you using STEP. I am assuming you are. Skyrim Flora Overhaul and treesHD can cause similar effects.
  23. Hmm... I wonder if someone will be able to make a Skyproc patcher for Morrowloot... I bet it would be way simpler than most of the other patches. All there would need to be is a Blocklist and a removed item... Maybe even an add random loot to specific places option. I don't write/ understand java and I don't really want to learn how :/ Hopefully there will be someone that wants a winter project or whatnot. Having multiple patches seems like a hassle and a patcher means only one esp
  24. One that is strange is Skymills and Skyfalls but for some reason if its a master esp then they half work... Like there are two blades on the mills... Its weird... or even RWT main esp being merged causes some water planes to just not exist for whatever reason. There is one in Falkreath that doesn't spawn when merged... all Bethesda games are weird...
