  1. The names aren't Daedric and Jarl. They're just titles. Much like yours at the moment is Prisoner. :) They'll change with post number. :) Ok next thing is what's the exact path to you SKSE.ini? And another easy mistake to make is this one. are you showing file extensions? If not, turn them on. Make sure your SKSE.ini isn't SKSE.ini.txt by mistake. It's an easy mistake to make. EDIT: also is that exactly how you have the SKSE.ini set up? As you put in the post? Try something like this: [General] ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 [Memory] DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 [Display] iTintTextureResolution=512 *Though this seems smallish. Most use 1024 or 2048 here* [Debug] WriteMiniDumps=1 [interface] EnableContainerCategorization=1
  2. Apachii is a bit like that, yes. It has become better but still has a few not really period styles. There's some good ones in there, though. That's why I like KS and SG both bit more lore friendly. We really do need someone to sit down and do something like KS again.
  3. Apachii works. Or google for SG Hair Pack which is also good and I prefer.
  4. Try the -forcesteamloader in the arguments field for SKSE in the executables.
  5. It has never caused me a problem, ever. If you want to install from archive that's fine, but doing it all through MO is easier and quicker. Not sure who might have said something like that.
  6. The Smooth normal map is an option in that Smooth face Geonox option.
  7. Fairly sure I've seen 1 or 2. Rare, though.
  8. There is a way. Down the bottom of the pane there's a small search box. Where it says namefilter. Type a search term.
  9. If you watch DirtyWeasel's videos on Perma, it'll work like a charm. Even as a relatively experienced modder I found them useful. Look for DirtyWeaselMedia on You Tube. (am @ work so no YouTube for me here...) Aside from that the only other one I have any experience with is SPERG which I actually found quite good.
  10. That's easy to do with FNVEdit. If you don't have that, grab it.
  11. Are you affected by the issue in question? If not don't worry about it. I believe that was something to do with Windows 8.x and MO being done over by a STEAM update. If you're happily chugging away, game on and enjoy. Tannin's just sending that message out as a community service I'd say. :)
  12. I find just reading everything throughly first before even starting cleared up about 99.9% of any queries I had. The other 0.01 Was cleared up by reading here.
  13. No. You install it with all the other aMidianBorn items at usual time. Not quite sure how you'd think the other way, but ah well. :)
  14. Does Enhanced Skyrim Factions The Companions do that? I cant recall at the moment. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22650/?
  15. That'll work, but when you essentially have multiple proccer outputs in the overwrite at one time, if you just click create mod on the overwrite you'll throw the whole lot into one folder. So what I usually do is make separate folder in MO's mods folder and just move the esps and associated docs by hand after a SUM run. SUM Output, DSR output, ASIS output, PerkusMaximus etc. would be the folder names.
  16. Just peek ahead in the guide for now and install as per suggested in the original stand alone mods. Shouldn't be a huge issue. The main change with the big uber merge mod will be where the STEP staff decide to actually install it when the guide's changed.
  17. DirtyWeasel speaks the truth. :)
  18. You could probably consider looking at Neovalen's Skyrim Revisited. That contains a lot of the mods you're interested in adding already.
  19. I wasn't saying holding pattern, CloakedBreton. I meant grab the merged mod. Just that at the time I didn't have the link to hand. :)
  20. Yes you can run them together. Then move the ESPs to the relevant output folders. (I actually do those two plus Perma via SUM at once) If you want to, move the documentation as well. Up to you.
  21. It's not that they're incompatible it's just that they're different versions and work off a different masterlist in essence. What Grant's saying is if you use the one packed with MO, ALWAYS use that one. Likewise if you use the standalone you add as an executable, ALWAYS use that one. Don't use one one time and another the next time and expect everything to work out the same. Hope that clears it? :D I'd also add, while LOOT is an excellent and powerful tool, I always check it's output against suggest load orders given by Mod Authors on their pages. Perma has quite a good suggested load order in one of it's forum topics. LOOT doesn't always follow it, so I'll tweak it a little till it does.
  22. Pics deleted for clarity, but if it's done by Drumber I'll definitely use it. His stuff is good stuff. :)
  23. Tip to the wise: when you do find one that works, make sure you put a copy of the archive in a safe place so you never have to download it again.
  24. That's cause they're ITM's or Identical to Master entries, not UDR's. Do the filter again and use the 'remove identical to master records'. Option.
