  1. Updated OP and added a poll
  2. If you're using the ENB feature to take screenshots, they should be in your root Skyrim installation directory (where you installed the ENB). Why Boris decided to place them there and clutter up the install directory I will never know. I think they're save as .BMP files. I use FRAPS for this.
  3. If you're icons are image files that are imported into your program, then it would be as simple as sending your icon set to someone willing to resize them for you. I have Photoshop and could do that in a jiffy. However, your mod is in shockwave and .GFX format (from what my computer says) so I'm not sure if that will work.
  4. I had to go look it up in the guide changes... IF you used the included INI from the guide ( https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:DDSopt_%26_Texture_Overhauls/DDSoptINI ), then don't worry about those files. They're included in the INI to be skipped during optimization. IF you didn't use the included INI, grab it now and rerun DDSopt because there are a LOT of fixes and files added to the INI that will be skipped during optimization. Don't forget step 4 to exclude the .PNG files on the new run. :)
  5. Until these issues are fixed or patched, this mod should not be included in STEP. The first bullet point seems like a major "oops" on the author's part....which make me wonder if he was even playing on a patched game when he made this mod as that should been noticed in TESVedit or the CK.
  6. I'm with Z on this one... I don't see any benefit to installing this mod. My media control on my laptop work just fine and I don't like the sound of a mod "fixing" something that it had no intention of fixing (media controls)...
  7. I updated the OP with what is needed to get this one added.
  8. Forgive me. Those 11 files are not .PNG files. They are .DDS files, but they are still not suppose to be optimized or you'll end up with black or purple textures in place of them. Just extract them and the .PNG files to replace the files in your Data\Textures folder. Yes, you are correct in thinking that if there are in fact .PNG files in those DLCs. I haven't optimized them myself. In fact, there was so many errors with the DDSopt release at the time of my last Skyrim/STEP installation that I haven't ran DDSopt on any of my current files. lol
  9. There are also the color files that shouldn't have been DDSopted (located in the root "Textures" folder...should be 11 files there that shouldn't have been DDSopted). Yes, you should use the unoptimized Skyrim - Textures.bsa file as the source.
  10. Those number values should be the correct ones to use.
  11. If they are .DDS files in your Skyrim Installation then you ran the .PNG files through DDSopt and shouldn't have. The files are located in "Textures\Interface\Books" of your "Skyrim - Textures.bsa" file. Simply copy these .PNG files into your "Data\Textures\Interface\Books" folder in your Skyrim installation. You can do this by extracting them using BSAopt or DDSopt.
  12. SkyRealism ENB and the default ENB file from Boris use the same key bindings for the [iNPUT] section. So I don't know where that issue of yours would be coming from, but it shouldn't have anything do to with the ENB unless it has something to do with the new ENB GUI. Personally, I've never tried using anything other than a mouse for movement. Try uninstalling the ENB (removing the files) to see if you regain your movement back. PS: You should use the numerical value and not the actual key "name".
  13. Those are the only two mods that I should conflict at the moment. Haven't done any testing on this though yet. I'll be installing this combination on Friday.
  14. https://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=2137 Please commit back if the above link solves your problem.
  15. No.Then I see no reason not to use it ... as long as it is not a performance hit and does not stick out like a sore thumb. Details matter, no? Any other reasons not to use? The more STEP grows the more mods that are going to be used and the more VRAM/RAM in turn. I see this mod as "not needed" and simply adds to the users who are already with limited VRAM...not to mention the 3GB cap that some are hitting. If this is added to STEP, I'll just simply pass it up though. I'm on a 1GB limit with my VRAM and adding unnecessary mods that make no noticeable difference from my point of view is a waste of that precious memory on my end.
  16. There is a in-game menu now, but I have never messed with it so I don't know what settings are available to tweak using it. My only complaint about my favorite and recommended ENB (SkyRealism), is with the Cinematic preset used in combination with RLO; the fires become too orange and become a bit unrealistic in their color. I haven't tried the other presets yet...real life and work has had me very busy lately.
  17. This is one of those "over the top" mods that is unnecessary in my opinion. As others have mentioned, how often do you look at people's teeth? I can honestly say that I have never noticed any teeth in the game before...NEVER. I think this mod is better suited for those that like to glamor-up their characters with body mods to take pretty screen shots. Not important or necessary for STEP.
  18. Installation of an ENB has nothing to do with mod installations so you can install it at any point that you like. I usually install mine last because that just happens to be my workflow, but you could install it at any time. ENBs provide enhanced features and coloration to the game. For example, I use SkyRealism ENB with the Cinematic preset which adds an overall saturation of +30% to the colors in the game. This makes for more vibrant and interesting colors; not just drab colors like vanilla has. Some of the features of an ENB include: SSAO (very performance heavy), Detailed Shadows, control over game Bloom, Reflections (water), God rays (sun rays), Depth of Field options (DOF), etc. Each one of these you're able to "fine tune" if you know how.
  19. Has been updated with MCM support and new "performance" options in the MCM menu.
  20. If anyone is interested, Wet & Cold has been updated to support CoT v3.0; both regular CoT and the new Winter Edition.
  21. Has been updated to support Skyrim update 1.9.
