I figured as much so I just ignored the typo. :P

Here is a new one: https://promotions.newegg.com/Sweepstakes/13-0869/index.html?cm_mmc=SNC-Facebook-_-POST-_-NA-_-NA&nm_mc=SNC-Facebook

Original poster is using an NVIDIA and other AMD users have reported it working so it's not a graphics card issue.
-
Awesome! Good to know!
-
Definitely never seen that before... You have strictly STEP installed and nothing else? If so, it's has to be something that changes the HUD system. Immersive HUD maybe? Check in the MCM options for all your mods.

Screenshot for those of use that have never seen this before?

Can you post a before (off) and after (on) shot for SMAA so the others can see it in action? I'm not currently using SMAA or I'd do it myself.

When you guys edited the guide you left out the part about skipping the .PNG files in the Interface\books section and then re-adding them later. Maybe it's there and I can't find it (the guide is a beast now and not for the light hearted) I'm sure this was a mistake if left out, but a user caught it via the Troubleshooting forum: https://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=2137

You're welcome. I've scanned over the guide and it looks like the guys edited the part out about skipping those files...most likely by mistake. I'll let them know of the issue.
-
I was going to say the same... as long as you've set up your [PROXY] in the enbseries.ini file then you shouldn't have any issues. I've never tried it any other way, but if the other method uses a .DLL file, it's possible that's the issues...and is the same reason hardware AA doesn't work with ENB anymore (DLL conflicts).

SKSE Error? New Skyrim Update?
TechAngel85 replied to AsheRayne's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Try enabling SKSE with the update and then disabling Race Menu. That is the only mod in STEP that would allow the resizing of a character so it could be a compatibility issue with Race Menu. Try it just to rule that out. -
Did you skip the book files located in Interface and then re-add them when you finished? This would have been the most likely cause that I can think of.

As far as I know these are vanilla textures. Did you run DDSopt?

SKYRIMLE TTYM - Think To Yourself Messages (by VorpalBlades)
TechAngel85 replied to Yggdrasilion's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
This is one of those mods that make you say, "why didn't I think of that?" It's a simple and obvious mod for immersion. I see no potential conflicts because I don't know of any other mod that changes these types of messages in-game. Guard Dialogue Overhaul would be the only STEP included mod that would even come close to conflicting that I can think of and even that one shouldn't. I will definitely be checking this one out. -
Skyrim Configurator- recommended or not?
TechAngel85 replied to peppergomez's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I think the question has been answered well enough. Setting to solved status. In case you missed it in the post above, set your INI files to "read only" to prevent any unwanted changes to them after you've set them up. -
It's a known issue by the author but he says it can't be fix. He does recommend turning off the "Go Home" feature as a possible solution for any of these types of problems. This feature instructs NPCs to go home when a blizzard starts or it starts raining. If the NPC doesn't have a home, they will go to the nearest inn. Argonians, beggars and working class NPCs will remain outdoors in these conditions. This is why Adrianne Avenecci remains; talking to herself, while the other guy is missing if it is raining. Adrianne is a "working class" NPC and will remain outdoors while the other guy has either returned home or is in the inn.

DROPPED Skyrim Flora Overhaul (by vurt)
TechAngel85 replied to JudgmentJay's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Thanks for clearing that up Vurt. I might very will use that version then for my system. I already exclude the diverse trees from my installation for performance reasons. Laptop users need all they can get! -
DROPPED Skyrim Flora Overhaul (by vurt)
TechAngel85 replied to JudgmentJay's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
There is a new "basic" version up which boasts for best compatibility and performance. The hand placed plants and trees have been eliminated from this version. I'm curious as to the difference in looks and performance. Z, could you add this version to your compares on the wiki for those of try to squeeze every little bit of performance out of Skyrim + STEP and still have it looking good? -
I've not tested with AMD; however, NVIDIA driver forced AF is the best quality for NVIDIA users out of the three. I did these a long while back...it's hard to see but NVIDIA is just slightly better; especially in the far distance. https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Techangel85/ENB_Comparisons

The guide does not cover SLI setups at this time. Using the recommended or default settings according to NVIDIA is all I can advise at this time. I don't have SLI so if someone wants to right that portion for the guide, go for it! Just post your chances here. Good eye. Those are just mistakes in the images by me. I'll try to fix them tomorrow. Use what the text says. Again, just a mistake by me. Use what the text says unless you experience mouse/key lag for this setting. If you do, turn it down until the lag is gone and use that setting. Thanks for catching those.

I did this a while back and had that forum updated up to about the end of February. My current internet situation is anything but ideal right now. I'm running off of satellite internet at home (2Mb/s down...very high ping) which is severely hindering my moderating abilities. This should change in a few months but for now I'll only be available for a few hours a day on a really slow connection. Currently, I'm sitting up at the local community college and using their internet (73Mb/s down) and I'll try to do this as much as possible. However, keeping up with everything like I did in the past is going to be impossible for me for a few months.

I thought that other users couldn't edit content under another user's Userspace? For example: "/User:Techangel85/Sandbox", would only be editable by me and those with admin privileges. If that's not the case, is there a way to make it so?

Most of the work on this guide is mine now... :P. I just left his name up to give him credit for the original thought. Though, now that the wiki is open to the public, that needs to be changed to "STEP Team and Wiki Editors". I'll look into your guide and weather mod. I'm not as present on the forums as much as I would like to be right now due to my living situation. That will change in a few months though.
