  1. I've wanted a few more smilies as well for a while now. Were messing several emotions in ours.
  2. I think it's a Firefox issue. I know when I go on a video watching spree I have to restart the browser every few hours because the videos start slowing down on their load times. Restarting restores it to normal.
  3. I'm running 2.2.9 with patches in my testing setup without issue right now; however, just bare in mind that it isn't final and some issues my crop up from time to time. We still have several mods in testing and several other things to work out. Also keep in mind 2.2.9 will transition to LOOT and away from BOSS.
  4. That is at least 2 for AMB and 2 for SRO... Phaser didn't really say one way or the other.
  5. Any other debate for Core or Extended from staff? Re-read the Mandate if needed.
  6. I wasn't keen on the whole mod until I loaded it in-game. Makes all the difference!
  7. That's the beauty of being about to hide textures. Thatch roofs and rope will be hidden, if accpeted. Floor is up in the air. The door will have to remain due to the contrast of the SRO door with the rest of the AMB textures.
  8. Yes, that's what you do with any ESP that is integrated into the STEP Patches. You could alternatively right click on the mod. Select Information. Click on the Optional ESPs tab and the move the ESP to the top pane. This will keep it from showing up in your plugin list.
  9. Guess we'd need a vote on that too. The fireplace texture is tied to the floor texture. The problem I have with the floor texture is that it looks like old cement that has cracked over time. Everything from the color, cracks and brush strokes in the texture suggests cement (if you've ever laid outdoor cement you'll know you brush it with with a shop broom to provide texture for grip). Cement existed back in these times; however, it wasn't widely used so the possibility of finding it laid as a foundation for a farmhouse is basically nonexistent. Cabal's flooring of broken up stone is far more likely. (I'm not saying it's pretty, but it's better than cement) EDIT: SRO >> AMB
  10. Okay, finally had a chance to run around in-game with these textures. I do like the mod and think it's an improvement over SRO. SRO tends to be bland gray pretty much for all the wood. AMB seems to simply break this up with a bit more color variety. The textures are still worn and old looking, they've just been giving a bit of character and life. When wood weathers in moist environments (like Syrim) it's not simply just bleached out like you'd see in more arid climates. It weathers with a variety of colors and depth. AMB is more true to this; whereas, SRO is more characteristic of the arid climates. AMB's change is subtle by simply providing a bit of color variation and some slightly darker colors as seen in the shots below. SRO >> AMB >> AMB with hidden textures The the final image I have hidden the ropes and the thatch textures. That's it. They both looked far too new and out of place with the surrounding textures. I tested AMB in multiple locations and in multiple lighting. I like what the mod does. AMB looks particularly good at night: SRO >> AMB The colors of AMB are simply richer. With all that said, I really don't think it's too far away from vanilla with the hidden textures to reject it from being in Core. What do you guys think on Core vs Extended? This mod has my approval either way. Also, we'll need to decide on the windows. I know that the doors have been discussed; however, the AMB doors will have to stay because the SRO doors contrast too much and make them really pop out in an undesirable way.
  11. Okay. I'm good with that. I'll update the page.
  12. Then are we leaning towards SRO for this?
  13. Yeah, I don't like this one either.
  14. Not really... See all those pits? Turning ENB parallax on will reveal those pits is actually small stones. Completely broken without ENB. No ENB >> ENB EDIT: Update with compare. The non-ENB is flat. The ENB verion has depth added by the parallax.
  15. If you're looking for it there is a repeating pattern in both SRO and AMB. What do you guys think? SRO top cap or AMB? SRO >> AMB I prefer AMB but would be okay with SRO.
  16. I'll take another look at the top cap for issues. The Dragonsreach interior stone wall is: wrcitywall02.dds The roof textures are: wrdragontile01.dds & wrdragontileblack01.dds
  17. After running around in-game for a while with these my official vote is going to be: no. I love the color palette; however, what doesn't show up in the shots is just how sharp these textures are. The author was really sharpened them up and they are simply too sharp. The rock and wood (most of the mod) looks speckled because of this. For those reasons, I'm going to have to vote against this one. ...still love the color direction though! Blends in with the game nicely!
  18. Just ran around with this for a while. Ummm...absolutely not! Official vote: no. Moving on.
  19. Dropped from Testing due to needing ENB for the mod to look good.
  20. No one is advocating this mod unless it's in combination with an ENB which is outside the scope of STEP. Dropped from Testing.
  21. Added to Clutter & Miscellaneous for STEP: Core (this is where the rest of the ores are found)
  22. True... SFO has always been at the top of the Landscape section for some reason. We could move SFO to just below the aMidianBorn mods can call it a day. That is actually a better solution...less files to hide. EDIT: Updated my post above and the wiki to reflect. I'll update the 2.2.9 Guide to reflect as well.
  23. As far as I know, the SFO ESP is not merged into the STEP Patch and TreesHD is just textures so you should be good if you want to leave those out.I don't use either of the other mods you asked about.EDIT: Ninja'ed
  24. I think the majority are in agreement about this one. Marked as accepted for Extended. Place in landscapes just under aMidianBorn Solstheim Land. Those that are installing early will want to hide these textures: [*]wrcitywall01.dds (City Wall) [*]wrcitywall01_n.dds [*]wrcitywall01plaster.dds (part of city wall) [*]wrcitywall01plaster_n.dds [*]wrcitywalltrims01.dds (part of city wall) [*]wrcitywalltrims01_n.dds [*]wrcitywalltopcap01.dds (top of the city wall) [*]wrcitywalltopcap01_n.dds [*]wrslate02.dds (stairs) [*]wrslate02_n.dds [*]wrslatefloor01.dds (stone floor inside Dragonsreach) [*]wrslatefloor01_n.dds
  25. Oh, it's not going into STEP. It IS going into my personal profile though!
