  1. SKSE incorporated the fix a bit differently than Sheson did. 512 is fine for Sheson's or SSME; however, since SKSE didn't incorporate the fix in the same manner, 768 must be used to get the same result as 512 in the others.
  2. Those are two different mods anyway...
  3. Yes, clean it. Clean any mod that it reports needs cleaning unless otherwise instructed. GDO is the only mod I can think of that shouldn't be cleaned.
  4. This is an issue with the header tabs we use. It's a bug in the wiki code. A minor inconvenience. Fixed by adding a notice on the Quick-start tab to return to the STEP Guide to completely 1.B. Any changes made to the INIs before MO installation (in 1.C) should be automatically added to the MO INI files. Therefore, your AA changes as well as all other INI changes should already be present in MO...if you're following the Guide and installed MO after the Launcher settings.
  5. Yes, that is the version I tested with.
  6. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/955184-ragdoll-paralysis-poison/?p=13414828I think that quote needs a little bit of attention. Has anyone else noticed the described behaviour? Just tested this. I didn't have any issues.
  7. The FPS drop is not an actual issue. It's just a result of using the mod because it's very heavy on performance. It's nothing that can be "fixed" as a bug would be. I do want to do some more testing with this mod though. Several posts back I posted a few shots. one had the ESPs disabled while still using the assets. This brought performance back to normal without changing anything within the scene itself...so I would really like to know what exactly the ESPs are doing if they're not loading things in the scenes at all times.
  8. How so? There currently are no notes and only one file to download. Pretty straightforward...
  9. I don't have any issues with this mod, beside it being heavy on performance (haven't cleaned it yet either).
  10. All you need to know is explained on the mod's page and in this thread.
  11. That is no longer needed due to aMb Content-Addon within the Book of Silence.
  12. CJ2311 is completely correct on all points. 1) We stay as close to vanilla as possible. Indoor texture resolutions on main textures is 2048 and 1024 on small things like clutter (pots, pans, etc). Outdoor baseline texture resolution for STEP is 1024 besides some exceptions like TreesHD. This is to maintain compatibility with the majority of users. If you have a higher VRAM card (say 4GB) feel free to use higher resolutions on some objects. 2) Pick any textures you like. They won't hurt anything. The only things that are set in stone are the mods that are included in the STEP Patches, if you use said Patches. You'll find those mods listed on the Patches ReadMe. 3) This is again, to stay closes to vanilla. The basic version is vanilla-friendly. It doesn't add in a ton of extra flora but rather retextures what is already in the game. I personally use EWI's Galaxy for Skyrim in my STEP installs because it's more beautiful, imo.
  13. No, just use the SKSE files and be sure to add the [MEMORY] section to its INI file.
  14. Thanks! Updated the formatting on https://wiki.step-pro...Death_Animation
  15. EssArrBee will have to address this or someone that proficient with the ENB side of things. Basically, it's been incorporated into the STEP Patches. If you don't want to use the STEP Patch (no idea why you wouldn't unless you don't own the DLCs) then you'll need the mod. If I'm not mistaken, the Combined Patch also has this incorporated which is more suitable for some users.
  16. Add the executable to norton's ignore list...or you could get rid of that bloated antivirus nazi! Haha! I hate Norton...they give companies incentives to pre-install it or push its use. Staples does this which is why you'll be suggested Norton over anything else...not because it's a good antivirus, but because they're contracted to and get a kick from it's sales (I was a Resident Tech for a while).
  17. The instructions are old and will be updated for 2.2.9. Actually, they're already there, just hidden until release.
  18. I tend to head towards the articles for information about changes, MCM Settings, etc. Granted, you're dealing with users (those that have replied here) that like to stay well informed.
  19. Thanks for the catch. Fixed.
  20. I used to use SkyRealism - Perk Trees for a completely perk overhaul. Would like to find a good mod that balances magic with the rest of the game in a very lore-friendly way. STEP could use a good mod to balance this out as magic seemed to be more of a side skill in Skyrim rather than being able to go full on mage as you can with archer/ranger or warrior.
  21. Perfectly okay! I just did a second compare and run around. Final verdict: Vanilla...will it's vanilla. Hi-Res is what you would expect. It's a moderately higher resolution version for vanilla. The overall leather is slightly more detailed; however, other areas such as the design on the hood and the gauntlets are basically the same as vanilla. This mod takes things to a whole different place. The leather (yes, up close you can tell it's leather) is finer like more modern leathers and darker than what would be humanly possible; however, this is armor from a demi god so we'll say it's possible to be that dark. The overall feel is a bit more modern and out of place with the rest of the armors (though again...from a demi god). Though the details are muted from the darkness of the textures they are all still there. In the end, it's going to come down to a more personal preference I think on this one. Although adding in Hi-Res as a vanilla replacement is perfectly plausible.
  22. Not really...that's pretty much how the look in my game. I've run around with each for a while. I'm not convinced Hi-Res is all that much better than vanilla (I'll keep running around in a bit though.)
