  1. Okay, so I'll update the notice on the MO mod page as well as create one for the 2.2.8 Guide...maybe two.
  2. Can a staff member update the OP or start a new thread explaining the correct load order? (I'm not 100% sure myself) Once that is done, I'll update 2.2.8 with a notice and a link back to the proper load order. Than will cover us until we get 2.2.9 released.
  3. I don't have that issue with Fertigo Pro... do you have any extra interface mods that aren't in STEP? Also, what is your resolution? Scratch that! You do get this issue when you have double digits for the number of lockpicks. This is just....wow! How long have we recommended Fertigo Pro and no one has ever noticed this. We should probably think about changing this recommendation. Centaur is very nice and probably the next best option.
  4. Steam make it WAY too easy to spend your money! Save your card information and it's 3-4 clicks until you own the game! Well played, Steam...well played. Just picked up Bastion + Soundtrack for $3.73 Torchlight II is next in my sights...hoping it hits a Flash Sale!
  5. If you guys are having issues with MO and it is for sure MO specific, you need to be reporting them to Tannin on his bug tracker so maybe they can get fixed. Also, additional features can be requested such as a possible Nitpick-FNV fix integrated into MO (if that's even a possible thing to do..Tannin might know).
  6. I tested this out very quickly and with ENB shadows enabled I get anywhere from a 5-10 FPS drop depending on the area I'm in. However, the game looks soooo much better with just the shadow fix enable. There is a lot more depth to the visuals. I have a GTX 760 for reference.
  7. Try out your FOMOD with MO v1.2.5. Tannin has fixed some issues with the internal installer and it's now installing the mods that had these issues previously.
  8. Tannin has fixed the issue with the internal FOMOD installer so no need to use NCC anymore.
  9. MO version 1.2.5 has fixed some issues with the FOMOD installer (even though Tannin didn't post it as a bug fix on Nexus, he's been replying in this report). If there are mods in the guide that have had issues with the FOMOD installers, then you might want to test them again. I only mention this because it's stated on MO under the utilities section.
  10. I still have some shadow striping as well, but the shadows themselves look okay. Unfortunately, if none of the INI tweaks are working fro you, the only other option is probably going to be ENB. We're planning on testing turning on ENB shadows and parallax with ENBoost; however, that might be a release or two away. It most likely will not be part of 2.2.9.
  11. Did you try changing your iBlurDeferredShadowMask in your ini to a higher value. Also, if you're using MO, make sure you're using the INI editor within MO.
  12. Although this mod looks very nice indeed, it's not Lore friendly for any purest out there or for STEP:Core. Lore: "The Dwemer also had extensive knowledge on mining, extracting and smelting the ore they found, as well as incorporating the smelted metal into their weapons, armor, tools, devices and other crafts. Because of this, they were able to create their own distinctive form of metal which was easily mistaken for bronze. Since their disappearance, no other race had been able to successfully replicate the process that was used to create dwarven metal. The only known method that had been successful so far, was to melt down existing dwarven metallic scraps and start over from there." -source Lore would suggest that the Dwemer's metal is suppose to look similar to bronze. I was hoping I wouldn't find anything that suggested this, because I quite like the screenshots from that overhaul.
  13. I'll probably work on installing your guide this weekend. I've been too busy to do it this past week and didn't have the DLCs until I recently purchased the UE version on the Steam sale. There are a few things I ran into that could use work (an I barely got into the guide) when I first started it last week. Would you mind if I edited the Guide (nothing major. mainly small things like spelling corrections) and left commented out notes for you to view later when I work through it? I'll of course post them here as well, but the notes (commented out so users don't see them) can at as a reminder and a list as you're doing your editing/updating and can easily be deleted when you've viewed/fixed/edited/etc that part of the Guide.
  14. So far I've picked up: Deus Ex: Human Evolution - Director's Cut Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition (already owned FO...just needed the DLCs) Half-Life 2 Hitman: Absolution Elite Edition Might & Might: Duel of Champions (free-to-play...and I'm addicted to it...someone needs to hold an intervention) Path of Exile (free-to-play) The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings Enhanced Edition (you seriously need a third hand to play this on a keyboard! I'm going to have to get a controller before I'm able to play.)
  15. This game is closer to Magic: The Gathering than Yu-Gi-Oh. I stopped playing that years ago too. I don't even have my cards anymore (let someone borrow them and haven't seen them since...supposedly they accidentally got left in another state at a family member's house) . Anyway, yeah I had a ton of foils too. Exodia was overrated though. My friends always had those in there decks and only were only ever able to use it a handful of times in all the years we played. GX came out quite a while after I stopped playing but I'm glad I did because things stated getting a little ridiculous when GX cards showed up on the scene. I kinda felt like GX soiled a pure TCG experience. Anywho, Might & Magic is completely addicting! It's all I've been playing for the last couple of days. Haha! You don't have to "paid to play" either. They give you a starter deck and you earn in-game gold and experience points by dueling in the Ranked Mode. Once you have 50,000 (which doesn't take that long because you get a lot of gold from leveling up) you can purchase a different starter deck (still keeping your old one) to really up the fun factor.
  16. That's already been stated as an issue earlier on (by me). It happens when any invisible mesh is in front of your view of the icicles. (torches, flames, magic light from college, etc). It's also documented on the author's mod page. Nothing can be done about it as it's an engine limitation. EDIT: ...and yes, this also affects the your giant summoned ice man...
  17. It looks like it's reflecting the snow as if the snow had a light source or as if the icicles were mirrors; however, those are not the reasons. It's doing that because during snowy weather the snow passes right though objects. Seriously! TFC at the college and get up next to the wall and watch the snow from the side. It appears to be blowing right through the wall...because it does. It's doing the same thing to the icicles and; thus, creating that strobe effect as it's passing through. This will most likely end up being a limitation of the engine and not fixable. It would be nice if an author could make a mod that caused objects to be solid where the weather is concerned. Meaning if it's snowing sideways like it could at the college then snow would build up on one side of the building more than the other and you wouldn't get the snow actually ignoring the solid structure as if it was magic snow and passing right through the objects.
  18. It would help if the authors that do work inside that forum would promote it to other authors as a good place to collaborate and get author only feedback. (perhaps put a blub about it on their mod pages) No other place really exists for mod authors to do this. It was one of the incentives we wanted to give the authors for signing up on the forums because having authors involved in the STEP process can produce some pretty amazing results! SkyFalls & SkyMills comes to mind as one of the fasted mods to have it's issues fixed that were found during testing and as a result be added into STEP; all because the author was involved in the whole process.
  19. Might & Magic: Duel of Champions the Online Trading Card Game (TCG).... I used to be really big into the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG. I had hundreds of dollars worth of cards and had a deck that was rarely defeated amongst my friends. So I seen this game as a Free-to-Play on Steam and thought I'd give it a try. I knew it would be a mistake and it was! ...addicted to this **** now and can't stop playing! On another note: Path of Exile, another Free-to-Play game on Steam, is also very fun and enjoyable. Now excuse me while I go duel...
  20. Yeah, I didn't find anything weird about them either. Lighting/Weather specific perhaps?

  22. Correct. There is a lot of the sets that is incomplete like the furniture, for example. The author didn't want to use the FOMOD I wrote either. I don't think he understood that it's the same (but better) as picking and choosing folders. He wants it to remain modular and that's all good, but he refused the FOMOD because he didn't understand what it was. He also declined my invite for helping to finish up and expand the mod, saying that he might come back to it eventually...I don't see that ever happening. Oh well...
  23. Wow... sorry about that. We should have updated the mod page. The only difference from 1.5.4 to 1.5.5 is the addition of the new FOMOD, the updated Wizard and the Requiem support. The mod itself didn't change. You could have just installed 1.5.5 from the beginning. The FOMOD on the mod page is no longer needed since I wrote the new one for the mod itself. I'll update our mod page.
