  1. It provides texture variants for mods like Complete Crafting Overhaul.
  2. What are your enblocal.ini [MEMORY] settings?
  3. No need to test that really. It's well known that shadows are one of the main performance killers in Skyrim and there's not much you can do about it other than lower the settings as you've found out. You can tweak the SkyrimPrefs.ini to gain a bit more fine control; however, shadows are always going to be an issue if you want to maintain 60FPS. I have a really good quality IPS monitor and a GTX 760. I rarely drop below 40FPS anywhere in the game and it's always smooth.
  4. That's probably because we haven't removed them yet... @Judassem The author had his account removed and thus his mod went with it.
  5. You can open the patches and the mod up in TES5edit to see if there are any conflicts that the patches might be overwriting if the .ESPs from the patches are loaded before the SS .ESP file. If there are, you'll need a patch between the two mods or you can make sure the SS .ESP is loaded after the Vividian Patches by creating a Rule in LOOT.
  6. No, as hishutup said, just download them, install them, and use the "Replace" button when asked. Do that for all exterior mods and then test the game to see if that help any.
  7. 2K textures are probably too much for 2GB VRAM which is causing your system and ENBoost to use much slower system RAM. That would be my best guess for the stuttering. You really shouldn't run 2K exterior textures unless you have 4GB of VRAM. 2K for interiors should be okay as fewer textures are loaded.
  8. Could have been a mistake that no one ever picked up on or something the author meant to drop and forgot to delete it from the mod. Either way the author is gone and the mod can be freely used so if we figure this out, STEP will provide a corrected version when we do the optimization for the mod.
  9. It doesn't work with the Steam version of Mass Effect. I have a notice of this at the top of my Guide. It only works with the Origin version. My Dragons Age is also Origin rather than Steam. I should note that I haven't actually tested it for Mass Effect on the Origin version...I was just told it would work. There is a workaround for Steam, but you basically have to stop Steam from phoning home and run in Offline mode: https://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Steam_and_mods
  10. We don't install quivers because they are changed from vanilla a little bit. Nothing that isn't too far off though. I play a Ranger-type character so I personally install them because they look better. Sheaths are covered by another mod.
  11. This mod has no issues with the "bronze shine" so you shouldn't need to use it.
  12. Are you asking for support on this or just making an observation?
  13. Nope, I have Origins and have been wanting to play it agin (I've never completely finished the game/story and really really want to), but I just don't have the time right now. Other projects are calling up my free time and demanding to hang out (ENBSeries INI Guide, STEP Female Overhaul, STEP Lighting Pack). I'd like to finish my second playthrough of XCOM as well. First one was vanilla game, the second is slightly modded and on a harder setting. That game is addicting!
  14. Note: I wouldn't use the Large Address Aware (LAA) tool that Neo says to use. Personally, I've had a lot of issue with that tool and it causes games to crash. While writing my Guide for Mass Effect, I discovered a far better and safer way; editing the executable yourself. Just follow my instructions on my Mass Effect Guide here: https://wiki.step-project.com/User:TechAngel85/MassEffect#Texture_Hacking_.28Easy_Dencryption.29
  15. Someone was putting together a Guide for it. Can't remember who right now. Neo: https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Origins_Revisited_-_Ultimate_Edition
  16. There's nothing unexpected or "new" from your result for the memory settings. They've been well tested and what we have in the Guide is the result of that testing from several members. Keithinhanoi is the most knowledgeable person I know with these settings and much of his knowledge I suspect comes from testing on being on the ENB Dev forums.
  17. Wasn't talking about the basic stuff. I have that down. But when you get into categories, templates (I can make basic ones), data manipulation, etc then that is where I leave it in more capable hands.
  18. 1 - Not Safe For Work. The download links are to the nexus files. They are the same. 2 - No, it's correct. It's a fixed mesh for the Forsworn feet. 3 - You can safely ignore this.
  19. The mod isn't fully tested yet. That is why it's not on Nexus. As for the tone, that is the part that isn't fully tested. The .tri files are left overs from a fix for those two races. They're still in the file because I have yet to decide to include them. If I did, it would require the use of a plugin. The mod is still in Alpha and I haven't worked on it in a while. For now, those files can be deleted.
  20. Updated mod notes for installation.
  21. Follow all Meta Rules.
  22. Nope, I've had a hand in probably 80% of the Guides on the wiki as well as the STEP Guide, but I've never really dived into the wiki syntax too far. I've chalked it up to be too much trouble to learning the ins and outs so I've stuck to editing and creating content. The finer points were usually added by others. Just recently have I learned more about it.
  23. Chalk that up as another oddity with wikis. They seem to rarely follow the normal web design rules....but in their defense they're not really normal web sites as their main purpose is the displaying of information. All design decisions come second to that.
  24. >_ Haha! I'm just kidding around. But seriously, page titles should really be set up in a class and that class only used for that purpose. So the page title would be a simple PageTitleHere. Done! That doesn't mess with the H1, thus, leaving them for what they're meant to be used for later in the page structure. Using a heading tag for the page title is an old trick and the "lazy man's design", as my instructor would say. I can deal as it's the same result on the TOC, it was just annoying me in the coding since I've been taught differently. This will need to be mentioned in this Wiki Guide somewhere though, because that is not standard design and if anyone comes along that knows the standard way of using headings they will get undesired results.
