  1. The Staff has had some discussion on this and basically you're going to have to set up the game as we instruct for us to be able to provide any time of real support. You'll need to set up your game via Steam and use MO since we do not support non-standard installs of the game nor do we support NMM (we have never supported NMM, in fact). https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Skyrim_Installation https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer
  2. Unknown Enchants was the last item in the Interface section. The other two were in alphabetical order in the Landscape section.
  3. Sweet! I'll start using Copy instead of Imgur then. I'll be able to keep the images I post up permanently this way.
  4. Took that last sentence out of the ENB Guide. That will prevent that from ever happening again.
  5. This used to be me as well, but I've noticed it depends on the play-style and character style you are playing. As a mage, I wanted to see all the magic effects and being so used to D&D games, it just came natural to play in 3rd person. However, with my new Ranger-based character I've noticed that I play about 50/50 in 1st person verses 3rd person.
  6. Very few use multi-monitors for full gaming in Skyrim. Most with at least two monitors will game on one with leaving the other one for other activities like browsing and social media.
  7. I thought ENB took care of these things? It's takes care of Double Cursor and has Borderless Windows. Are there more "fixes"and would apply to STEP?
  8. Both work with DSR. Both fix the gap issues (need to confirm with BSW...females have the gap issues I think so just need to test out females). Also need to check the arrow issue for females. I've already said as much. If testing proves no issues, I'm for BSW all the way! There's a lot of talking and trying to figure this out from the mod pages. Just hop in game and start testing. I'll get to it tomorrow probably.
  9. Actually, they don't expire. I've probably just deleted then from my account. I've been looking for a better image host. I'll love to use my Google Drive or Copy account but those aren't friendly links with the forum. Curious if there is a plugin that would allow them to work.
  10. Start a new game to check to see if the issue is resolved on a new game.
  11. Depending on the Adobe program, it will benefit from hyperthreading and a mid level GPU. I'm at work and well check it out more thoroughly later.
  12. Yes, and the answer was no. I already asked. He took it down for personal reasons and has left modding. He did thank STEP for all our support, though.
  13. If I've not mistaken those are two separate meshes. The drawn arrows do not actually come from the quiver but I could be wrong. I'm planning on testing this either tonight or tomorrow. I will say that I've never noticed this issues but I haven't played will all bows and all arrows.
  14. No, author does not want it hosted elsewhere. He took it down intentionally.
  15. I haven't done archery in several years, but what you say is true. I don't think the game can produce this ( until someone creates a mod for it ) so we can only find what is the best "feel" for what the game can produce. For me, this is BSW over CQLA.
  16. There would have to be tested before this is added. Those are a lot of bugs...
  17. Awesome! Thanks! Hopefully the other guys will kick back in and help out. This project has sat stagnate for a while now. I'll probably just send out a group message as a reminder.
  18. Yeah, I've been playing a Ranger-based character so I've been using them for a long time. The quivers from CQLA just do not feel natural. People may not notice this since many do not play with bows consistently; however, bows are nearly exclusively the only weapons I use and in doing this it was clear to me early on that the quivers felt...off. So I just tested BSW out of curiosity for a while and haven't went back.
  19. This comes up fairly often. I think EssArrBee should write a guide explaining how to remove mods from the Patches. It would benefit all. Probably easier said than done.
  20. I'm hoping to take it with this release, but I have to get the rest of the staff on board with it. So far, that's been difficult since we're all scattered right now.
  21. Not at this time, no. STEP will stay with vanilla for the time being...until the STEP Lighting Overhaul is compete...shhh! Lol
  22. Just because a mod didn't make it into STEP, doesn't mean you can't still use it. STEP is just a Guide, not a Bible and is very flexible. If this mod didn't make it, but you like it...then by all means use it. Remember, when we make decisions we're thinking way broader than our personal preferences since the Guide is used by hundreds or thousands of gamers.
  23. They are both as far as I recall. EssArrBee is are resident patch artist and knows better than anyone.
  24. I'm not positive and can't check since I'm not home. The mods that the Patches reply on are listed on the Patches mod page.
