  1. I'm planning on reviving this Pack, just haven't had time to do so yet.
  2. If you can afford the performance cost, you can keep the downsampling.
  3. Mine is set to -.33 and that is generally the value I've seen with ENB Presets.
  4. Use SMAA. The ENB Guide on the wiki will guide you to installing it.
  5. ENB authors sometimes recommend a value for this, but I'm not positive on the reason. I've always just thought it was for sharpening.
  6. Those patches should be in the STEP Patch. We forward a lot of these types of things with the STEP Patches to both slim down on user required downloads and to slim down on the instructions needed on wiki mod pages. This is, in part, how we've made the Guide less complex.
  7. Win 7 is the best platform for gaming on the PC, currently, until Microsoft fixes the DX9 memory limit issue. They're also suppose to be releasing the ability to turn off all the "phone home" features of Win 8/10 in an upcoming update. So that is a step forward for them where that is concerned. I think they received far too much bad press over it. "Power of the people!" Once they release that and get the DX9 issue fixed, Win 8/10 will become better platforms for gaming again. Until that time, I'm keeping my Win 7.
  8. When we put together the ENBoost page, we were all still fairly new with it. I would recommend it be set to at least 256 in most cases for STEP and lowered by the user if possible and no stuttering is introduced by doing so. 512 is a lot of memory that is being reserved for ENBoost which some is likely being wasted.
  9. If I remember correctly, I had to forward a couple records with STEP, so just open it up in xEdit to see if it's conflicting with anything.
  10. Probably 101 Bugs. That mod is likely to be dropped for the next release, pending the outcome of CACO testing.
  11. Setting it higher than it needs to be wastes memory.
  12. Actually...lower it. 256.
  13. No. There is no overlap between the mods.
  14. That's a matter of your opinion. :)
  15. Sounds like this should be a scripted mod that switches out the texture based on region. That would be a complete fix for this.
  16. Guess you've never worked construction. Soil further down is more moist and, thus, darker than the soil on top but relatively the same hue, just darker shade. In this case, that is reversed.
  17. Which just goes to prove that it can be done.
  18. Do you have SKSE installed with the Memory section filled out? Have you checked to see how much memory the game is using (Skyrim Performance Monitor)?
  19. That's pretty darn impressive for free software! Maybe someone should nudge Bethesda on the shoulder and tell them to take a look at that for their own custom engine and finally put the Creation Kit to rest. Could you imagine if Skyrim looked like that and was still completely moddable!
  20. Well, it still doesn't really match the terrain textures, but it does look better. As I thought, this mod really needs to add compatibility for other overhaul textures. It might not be too hard to do it ourselves with better matching textures, if all this mod does is update the textures and isn't modifying any meshes.
  21. Thanks! Same applies. Be mindful of texture resolutions.
  22. 4GB system RAM. VRAM isn't affected by the bug as far as I know. This means Win 10 users simply need to be mindful of the size of the textures they use. No more than 2K textures. You can check the amount of RAM and other resources Skyrim is using with Skyrim Performance Monitor.
  23. Creating your own conflict patches is okay. Just don't go upload them for others. @Boris If you added this to a game in-progress, you won't see any of the changes. You have to start a new game.
  24. Browser open doesn't matter much. Mine is always open when I play or am working in the CK. Your issue is your OS. Win 10 only allows up to 4GB for DX9. That means Skyrim can only use 4GB of RAM.
  25. Guys, keep it civil please.
