I could have sworn I voted yes on this. Maybe that was just the mushrooms, but yeah these are a nice improvement over vanilla, not majorly different but a noticeable quality increase.

I'm using Windows 10 LTSB (Long Term Stability Branch an offshoot of enterprise) much less invasive and much less annoying, fewer updates etc. Was using a stripper to remove things like Cortana but last update from MS installed her. Edit: Chuckled at terminology and clarified acryonym.

I would love to upgrade. Still on a single 780/980M (depending on if I'm using desktop or laptop). Been trying to save for a nice monitor. For a while there was talk that they'd scrapped the 1080Ti since I know EVGA's new 1080 cooler was from the 1080Ti which they said they'd canceled, I can't remember where I read that though.

What OS do you have (there is an easy way to improve it in Win 10)? The increase in resolution WILL make things appear smaller, ironically for most people.

I would go with BethIni's settings, DoubleYou has put in massive amounts of work optimizing his settings, at least for Skyrim though he's so thorough I'm sure his FO4 is nearly as good, if his highest settings are there I'm fairly certain you won't get much better look or smoothness, or at the least you'll start to get increasingly diminishing returns but you can always step his settings up.

Yeah, haven't had an issue so far with my 3GB card in Desktop or 4GB card in laptop. Haven't done EXTENSIVE testing though been waiting for SSE to mature more.

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Just no. BTW since texmod and the ilk are such massive PITA and slow to apply textures, I HIGHLY recommend you switch to MassEffectModder much faster system, uses more space since it basically repackages your .dds and .pcc files into an archive it then reads and applies but worth it IMO. For ME3 it reduces the install time from a few hours to maybe 40 mins, instructions are pretty straight forward.

I've been working on a ME2 and ME3 guide, not ready for publishing yet, want to do a couple more playthroughs to iron out some stuff but liking it so far. The most annoying thing for me personally is that ME1 and ME2 don't have GeForce Experience profiles.

Win 10 is more efficient overall, much smoother experience on my end. Windows 8.1 is better than 7 in that regard as well but Win 10 is even more so. Only gripe with Win 10 is having to strip down the windows .iso image and remove all the telemetry BS and reinstall all the time.

Must have missed this in one of my rounds checking the forums. Have you tried using disk cleanup or something like CCleaner to remove your temp files (it could be you just have a butload of them)?

Got sidetracked and forgot to vote after I saw your post in the other thread a couple days ago Tech. I've removed it from my installs a bit ago but haven't done any playing around with it to see if any of the qibbles I have with it are fixable.

I already have the collector's editions of ME2 and ME3 and ME1 has all DLC (the like 3 of them) through Origin. Having issues with my From Ashes DLC for ME3 but other than that I'm modding it. One of my friends says he has a lot of Bioware point codes that he could give me, I might take him up on the offer since he already has all of the stuff.
