Does Skyrim support SLI well?
deathneko11 replied to whateveryouwant's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Ok I have a quick question here. If we are going to sli, does the 2nd card have to match the first EXACTLY or does it just have to be the same model i.e. evga gtx 760 SC edition 4gb and gigabyte 760 4GB, or evga gtx 760 Sc edition 4gb X2? -
I don't know about WB, but if you were to switch to Mod Organizer (check my signature for useful tutorial videos on this) then you can have skyrim installed on your SDD and the mods installed on a different hard drive intirely. They will link together because of the way MO uses its virtual filing system.

General Support Thread
deathneko11 replied to Solist's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
Just the basic plugin required for enboost only should be all you need. You might have to turn parallax "on" but if that's the case we are talking about only seconds of time here. -
Do you happen to have BOSS sorting turned off in SUM?

SKYRIMLE RCRN AE -- HDR Lighting and Weather Enhancement
deathneko11 replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
If I remember correctly they have also made false advertisement claims in the past, saying that they worked directly with nvidia and some game companies that "supported" their work... Sorry, but I've had some bad experiences with this mod in the past. I don't know about its current state but it tried to do what RLO/ELFX and COT do better. Too much in one single package and not enough quality control because they were spread too thin. I admit though that I'm a bit biased. As a lighting modder I can speak truly here, RCRN and the RLO/RLwC team do not get along well with each other. There is a blood feud between us, from some very bad hurts in the past that no amount of professionalism on our end could overcome. -
MO downloads handling and the new Nexus subdomain system.
deathneko11 replied to Dynalisia's question in Mod Organizer Support
Good thing I just download manually all of my mods (as my internet connection is unreliable, I have to use a download manager that can restart a stopped download) and I use Nexus mod tracker to keep an eye out for updates :p One less thing for me to worry about ;) -

So did you get everything sorted out? (I'm not sure if you posted here in the answers section or if this thread got moved)

I just wanted to say, it is messages like this: That make little projects that I've done such as the MO tutorial videos so much worth it. It's because of ALL OF YOU in the modding community, this awesome little family that I have grown to care for that makes me want to do the work I do, whether it is here on the forums, on youtube, or on the nexus etc. So I bow to all of you in the modding community, Please accept my humble thanks and appreciation.

For the same reason why when you place a flower in a whiterun cell in the CK, a house or a barrier gets moved in markarth. The tools designed for modding are not perfect. This is especially true for the CK. I cannot count how many times I have worked on cell edits for exterior and interior spaces when working on Realistic Lighting Overhaul and there were cell edits that I never touched. You just never know what the CK might decided to do, it uses black magic. Best we can do is try to make our modding practices as clean as possible and use TES5edit to clean the screwups that we cannot be faulted for. And I'm out of chips. grrr...

Weapons and Armor fixes is just wasted space in a Requiem load order. When looking at the conflicts in Tes5edit, what you see on the right is what is being loaded in game. In this case it would be requiem. If all of the other mods to the left had different numbers, the Requiem values would be what you see in game. There shouldn't be a need for any corrections made via tes5edit. Just let requiem load last and do its job. Very few mods need to be loaded after requiem, so just make sure that if you do have any mods that need to be loaded after requiem then do so.

+1 for a future low end system guide. This day and age, even a low income job can provide enough pocket money over a few weeks to put together a middling range pc that can handle S.T.E.P. The way I see it, if you cannot afford to build a pc with halfway decent hardware then you shouldn't be at home gaming too much anyway. (yes i know there are exceptions to this, disabled etc)

ACCEPTED Dead Body Collision Fix (by LargeStyle)
deathneko11 replied to rootsrat's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I don't see the problem. As harsh to some as it may have sounded, Tech is right regardless of how anyone feels on the matter. He never said that anyone's opinion today or tomorrow does not matter. He simply stated that future opinions cannot be considered unless there is some hard proven data to change the minds of those that were here and took the time to test the mods and pass a vote on them. And for the record, I LIKE blunt and in your face honesty. I'm the same way, and refuse to sugar coat anything. As a manager now, and in the navy past, I couldn't afford to "beat around the bush". But this is off topic. Carry on. -
Nexus is down, otherwise I would try looking for it. The testing can be done with the WATER files while I wait :p Edit - Nope. Not gonna work, there must be something in the esp plugin for it.
-
I took a look and I'm not sure if you would need matching textures, but for meshes there are blacksmith forge files in W.A.T.E.R./meshes/furniture. You COULD try manually installing those to see if they have an affect on the forges. In fact, i'm testing now. Be back in a few to post results.

Just gonna say, Requiem has a very similar concept in its alchemy ingredients. It's more balanced and rewarding than you might think. In fact it actually gives you a VERY good reason to go out of your way to look for ingredients while you are adventuring. -

+1 for excluding no elves. -
I'm not saying you will see a drastic change in actual Ram performance, but generally the less that has to be loaded into a program the smaller the hit on any of your pc resources. Seeing as you only have 1GB vram though, these are still some options you should consider in increasing your performance and stability. Unfortunately you are very limited to what sort of visual enhancements you can add to your game with only 1GB vram.
-
Optimize your textures. Downgrade any high resolution textures, stick to 512 and 1k textures. ESPECIALLY in exterior cells. With limited VRam, less is more when it comes to eye candy versus performance. If you are still having issues then try running the game without any texture mods installed. In the long run though? upgrade your gpu. 2GB cards and + are getting fair cheap nowadays.

It will conflict with EDT2 and the HQLod textures for sure. Not sure if this replaces the noise.dds texture - if it does, it would replace EDT and/or HD Enhanced Terrain. HQLod meshes are prob. safe.If memory serves, there are some noise files in the Soolie mod. I'll be honest with you guys, this is a great mod but I don't think it would be best used alone. I believe though that there is potential to mix some pieces of this mod with others for a nice package, but it would take quite the bit of experimentation to find the right mix and balance.

Try these steps and tell me what happens. 1: Go to Mod Organizer install directory and locate profiles. 2: In your "vanilla" profile folder, delete Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini. 3: Via MO launch the skyrim launcher, the little window that pops up where you can change your settings, play the game, or access mods installed into the main Skyrim directory. This will refresh your .ini files and give you new vanilla files. 4: Launch Skyrim game. Do not launch through SKSE, but the standard vanilla launcher through MO, making sure to launch through your "vanilla" profile of course! Let us know if you still have the issue after doing so.

Night Vision is not working with ENB
deathneko11 replied to flvinny521's question in Post-Processing Support
Predator vision does not apply brightness or saturation for all enbs. The only reliable fix is the one mentioned for the enbeffect.txt file.
