  1. whups, I misspoke here. I meant 35C under LIGHT load. it will reach up to 55 when prime95 testing. but generally it never goes above 35C-38C when gaming.
  2. still hesitant on linux. when I have a 2nd pc to play with i'll go with it.
  3. Done :)
  4. For the record, I have a 212 evo on my amd 6100 fx chip, and amd chips usually run a bit on the hot side. with the 212 evo I keep between 22C and 35C depending on load.
  5. I actually like the multiple desktops feature provided by that OS. i don't think it's a strong enough selling point for me though.
  6. Shokz, any chance you could release what youve done with riverwood so far? The water I mean. I'd love to test it in game and use for screenshots.
  7. Nice, my memory is not fried after all :p
  8. Each profile uses its own ini pages apart from each other. Try running a default profile (no mods) and refresh ini files - delete old ini in the default vanilla profile, run the skyrim launcher window to generate new default ini files, then see how launching through skse behaves.
  9. If memory serves, wolverine and tannin have both stated that nitpick is no longer necessary with MO.
  10. Hmm, so this doesn't actually glow with enemies nearby but just randomly? and I saw a reference to Sting. Would there happen to be a working version of that somewhere for download by chance? (by working version I mean sticking to LOTR lore when it only glows when danger is near)
  11. Let us know if that solved your problem.
  12. Have you tried launching the skyrim launcher through MO, the one that brings up a little window with Play, Options, Data (where your mods are), etc? It needs to generate a .ini file.
  13. I would firmly suggest just playing around with the features that MO provides and see if you would be comfortable using it. In many ways the features are similar to WryeBash's but there are also features that MO provides that WryeBash does not, and some of these features that are unique to MO make for a rich modding experience when used in conjunction with WB for bashed patches. If you want to see some of what MO can do, try looking at my video tutorials which you can find in my signature. The Beginner's Guide and Advanced Guide are a little out of date and do not show the most recent additions to MO but still suitable for getting it set up and getting the most out of MO in regard to installing and organizing mods.
  14. I never said it was possible to do so without scripts, or that it would be script heavy. I simply meant that the fact that custom or edited scripts used by RCRN should be taken into consideration for those that may be running papyrus engine on a hair trigger as it is. However, in most cases this probably won't be a concern. I admit I am extremely interested in seeing how AI and DI from both mods can be seen to work together (if I read your post right), and I am also interested in hearing some details from you in how the two mods could ultimately become compatible with one another. It's been a good 2 years or so since I've seen RCRN and back then it had its fair share of issues, so if the mod has been polished up since then I am willing to take another crack at it and if there are ways to make the two compatible, then I'm all for it. I am assuming that some of the compatibilities you speak of are similar to how RLO is compatible with COT?
  15. I believe it would be inaccurate to state that RLO does not use dynamic interiors. We just do it a different way than each other, using different resources. The way you are describing here is putting another load of scripts on papyrus (not saying this is a bad thing, just saying it IS added stress to the script engine), and RLO strives to be as script free as possible (or at least it did when I was actively working on it a few months ago). Both have similar functionality, just a different method with different results.
  16. So what exactly can I do with it? I have no experience with this sort of thing :p
  17. Apparently you missed several, and I mean SEVERAL related posts in this section and in the comments on the nexus page. To answer your question, yes and no. The details are explained in the comments history better than I can explain it.
  18. I'm trying to figure out what this is. I am not even sure what shortcut keys i'm hitting to bring it up, but I accidentally bring it up once every few days or so when i'm typing.
  19. I think it's Lantern's of Skyrim. I cannot imagine how it would cause issues though, it's always worked beautifully for me.
  20. Z, if you can pm me your location then I can get a shipping cost estimate and figure out a cheap price for it. I might knock a good chunk of it off for you, because I don't think you are so far from me that shipping would be rediculously high. I would also be amenable to making a parts trade if you think you'd be interested. I can pm details of what i'm looking for in terms of hardware. Completely up to you ;)
  21. I think you really are trying to put SRO under......jesus. what kind of performance hit is this? O_o Oh and if that video is of a lake then I think the water is too fast. If it is a river then never mind, it looks fine.
  22. Just make sure that SFO is prioritised after COT if using mod organizer. If not then try loading SFO after COT?
  23. I believe that this is compatible with all that would fit on a LGA1156 board, no? I have an Intel DP55KG that is limited to 3 GB/s SATA and 16 GB RAM capacity. I am interested in the SATA boost, but am not sure that it is worth the trouble to upgrade this small step. My current board was a pain to install into my box, since I had to attach my CoolerMaster V8 before I installed the mobo ... PITA. Getting it out again could be a *****. Can you (or anyone) verify my assessment, or that there may be other advantages of this board over my DP55KG? I confess I know very little about intel setups as I have only built amd computers up to this point. I have also always had roomy cases to work in so I would not be able to provide any useful information in regard to your query here :/
  24. I might post it up for fun in a day or two. Word of warning though, it is highly experimental in some regards. Not 100% stable as I have said previously but stable enough for a lot of fun, no broken quests or anything game breaking of that nature that I've seen so far.
  25. Fistcannon123 has this issue: Good morning I am new to the site and can not find a place to post about this. I get the warning that some mods are conflicting so I follow the guide to fix load order. So when I try to to put a mod above any skyrim patch esp such as dawnguard patch.esp I am not able to,its like they are stuck with the esm's. they are in bold same as the esms to. So I am unable to finish my correct load order. I have searched the sight for this problem but I am not seeing this anywhere. If you could point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Fistcannon123
