  1. Did you notice the notice on the bottom of the BSW page? https://wiki.step-project.com/Better_Shaped_Weapons
  2. Yes, for extended, the BSW mod must be loaded after DSR.
  3. Really, even they shouldn't necessarily need to be in a BSA with the MO 1.2.9 changes, although it is recommended.
  4. You didn't at any time enable the hide esps workaround? If so, remove that line and delete the hide plugins txt in your profile. I'm having no issues.
  5. There really shouldn't be any problems with extracting them with MO 1.2.9, so I'd just leave it alone.
  6. On a technical note, you'll need to rebuild you bashed patch after installing this mod. Might need a stats tag on the USKPComplete esp, checking into it. It sorts correctly with LOOT as far as I can see. The Non-Essential Children patch is good, and the merged USKPcomplete esp is perfect. Has a minor conflict with Bring Out Your Dead (Eirid won't be buried if he somehow gets killed). All easy things to work with. I'll be checking out this mod to see if it is a candidate for testing. The Gamwich childrenclothes textures optional look impressive from the screens.
  7. That would probably be an esp conflict. Did you follow our LOOT rules? Try loading AmidianBornContentAddon esp later in your load order. To intelligently find the problem, follow the LOOT meta rule instructions and make it load after the last conflicting esp mentioned, while still following our LOOT rule between it and Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade.
  8. So many files on my tracking list...
  9. I had this on my tracked files list as it looked quite good.
  10. You can't, and is rather unnecessary. MO uses an older version of LOOT in its integration, but the only difference in the version upgrades doesn't appear to affect the load order, but instead the functionality of the LOOT client itself.
  11. You say it does this with the Update.esm that is not cleaned?
  12. It was attempting to merge it into the bashed patch. No need to reactivate the plugin, as its contents were merged into the Bashed Patch.
  13. LOOT meta rules is not hard! I wrote it in like 15 minutes! LOOT rules must NOT be overlooked. You shouldn't need to look over the entire MO guide. We provide all essential instructions on the main guide + mod pages + template linked pages. Guides are generally for problems/questions/customizations/etc.
  14. Use Memory Blocks Log by Sheson to verify that the skse.ini is working.
  15. If it is something you found different across different versions of MO, I would question whether your ini files were the same. At anyrate, I cannot think of a scenario where MO could possibly cause this. MO only virtualizes the data directory, not even the root directory.
  16. Already exists: https://sourceforge.net/projects/modorganizer/
  17. Strangely, this file is not found on the Nexus any longer. No explanation. And I never realized it. We may have to drop it from STEP since it is unavailable.
  18. You shouldn't have to delete it. Rebuild patch, right-click Overwrite, Sync to Mods (as long as nothing else is in overwrite), enter.
  19. I do mention it in the MO guide: https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer#tab=Overwrite, but it probably could use better documentation.
  20. Discussion thread: Ducks and Swans for Skyrim by Tamira Wiki Link This mod adds ducks and swans to Skyrim's lakes and ponds. Compatible with Realistic Water Two if you load its esp before RealisticWaterTwo.esp.
  21. Drag the whole folder.
  22. 1. Yes, STEP, will bring you a stable game, provided that you follow it correctly. If you have instability, simply post a thread in our Support forum, and we shall try to help you to the best of our ability. As to turning the game into what we think it ought to be, that depends on your modding goals. If you want Skyrim to look modernized, than yes, we are not emulating your goals. If you want Skyrim to look like the style that Bethesda put into it, but look way better and run way better, than that indeed is what we have tried to accomplish. As to customization, I see nothing wrong with customization. After all, everyone loves MCM menus with all the customizations you can make. 2. If you only wish to install STEP Core, only install the green mods. If you wish to install STEP Extended, install all mods. If you want to install both, Install STEP Extended first, copy the STEP Extended profile into a new STEP Core profile, deselect all non-green mods, and change the options for those mods that have different instructions between Core and Extended. 3. There are virtually no limitations to what mods you can install after STEP. All the mods you mention will work perfectly. Always check the compatibility sections for the mods you wish to add to see if there are any potential problems. 4. I typically test by playing the game. There are many tests that people have developed, but only after actually playing the game will many issues come to light.
  23. LOOT uses AppDataLocal I know.
