  1. I typically look first at the plugins that have Could you post the output for checking for errors?
  2. Why do you have two versions of Audio Overhaul for Skyrim installed? One called AOS, and the other called Audio Overhaul for Skyrim, and which are you using? Are you not launching SKSE from Mod Organizer?
  3. Could you provide some pictures? There isn't enough information to figure out the problem.
  4. Did you forget to activate the esp in the Plugins tab?
  5. Make sure you check the mod in the Left Pane.
  6. At that point you probably ought to look into creating a fomod.
  7. I'm guessing you forgot to clean Dawnguard twice. We probably should do that. Perhaps for consistency. I used that as a fail-safe for those people who like to rush through the guide. Correct. The mod was Traps Make Noise. Not correct. It should mirror the guide order. Doesn't hurt to rerun all the patchers if you're unsure.
  8. Never heard of this error. The bug report you link to indicates that the problem is fixed, so unless you have an old version of QT installed, I can't see how that would be relevant. Try posting on the Mod Organizer Bug Tracker. https://issue.tannin.eu/tbg/modorganizer/issues/open
  9. Try the link I use on the wiki: https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer#tab=Installation
  10. Shortcuts section is finished. Let me know if there are other Shortcut tweaks I should mention.
  11. Books seem too cheap a way to learn an enchantment. I think you have to experience it, and that's what breaking the item does. You ask how enchantments first were learned? Simple answer: Magic. I'd far prefer some sort of quest that the reward magically gifted you with the ability to use the enchantment. Or finding some random magical anvil somewhere that randomly impues it with an enchantment, with a chance of breaking it, by which you learn how to enchant it.
  12. I know the uncapper works for me as I'm way over 100 in sneak, so it shouldn't be a Mod Organizer incompatibility.
  13. That I really don't know fully, as I'm merely decent with TES5Edit, not expert at it. I know if I have an in the Tamriel Worldspace, I'm going to crash while outdoors without too much trouble. I'm not sure how this effects, for example, a spell with the same error. I presume that any time you cast a spell with an it will CTD, but I don't know. I merely presume on that note. I prefer to solve those problems when they appear. As a rule for me, if a mod has an I don't use it. Other errors, such as unexpected record, etc., I tend to ignore. If I find an issue, however, I won't hesitate to look into it.
  14. I actually use my middle finger to pick things up.But that is not the issue I mean! If you have five carrots inside a basket in game and you try to ONLY grab the carrots, its near impossible! I generally resort to grabbing the basket and turning it upside down before grabbing my carrots... perhaps that's more immersive too...
  15. I use iHud, so I mostly never see those icons anyway...
  16. This whole discussion sometimes is why I wish there was a mod that had an MCM menu enabling you to disable and enable different kinds of clutter ability to pick up or not. Perhaps that's what this mod needs. An MCM menu to configure what can be picked up.
  17. It means the installer will not be able to see your installed mods. Of course, the game will be able to see them.
  18. Why wouldn't it be safe to use? I'm using it without issue.
  19. That depends. First thing I would do is disable all the ones with and see if you load up Skyrim (BTW, don't check for errors on Skyrim.esm or the official DLC -- let Unofficial Patches worry about those). If it doesn't load up, you know you have a different problem. As to mods with errors, it is difficult to solve these unless you're the mod author.
  20. LOL you read my signature! Always ignore Skyrim.esm and official DLCs. Mostly, you're looking for the line. Depending on what it is depends on what kind of problem you'll get. All the errors I'm seeing look like they would mostly only CTD when you perform different actions such as talking to people or going through certain quests, rather than walking through Whiterun. You should only rarely approach authors about this as they tend to get defensive. Instead, figure out what bug they cause is and then approach the author about it. You never know, it could be that it isn't a bug at all, but it gives you a good clue.
  21. Interesting. I tend to wait a bit to update things, so I haven't installed .261 yet. I'll have to see if this is replicated on my system.
  22. Interesting... Can't say that I've ever had a worse fps with ipresentinterval=1. Maybe that could be the issue with that cart thing floating about somebody mentioned.
  23. That makes sense. I'll try that.
