    If you have spINI tweaks, there's one for vsync in there. The message about write access will be mentioned if it tried to create the backup but fails. This can be a write access issue, either pertaining to the Skyrim folder or the Documents\My Games\Skyrim folder.

    In the spINI Cache, it keeps four backup + one Before spINI backup, or it is supposed to.

    If it cannot back up the INI files, it is not finding the correct INI file location and likely is not editing them at all.

    You can still use the spINI Tweaks, but I just figured it was easier for users to manipulate their INIs through this app. You can run it through MO and change your profile INI settings that way.

    It calculates them from your screen aspect ratio.

    Well, don't click the spINIfy button in there. The problem is that it is unable to locate the correct User Profile on your system because of your OS configuration. This can happen when you mess with UAC. I will have a fix in the next version.

It confirms that shadow acne (aka shadow striping) is directly connected to the fBiasScale. It also explains the "Peter-panning" effect when increasing fBiasScale too high.
